  1. Couldn't have said it better myself. At this point it's just gaslighting people, backpeddling, or telling us about their great vision. It's all so unfrofessional, I can't even deal with it. My sub ends soon and I am done wasting my life on something I just don't enjoy anymore. I really hoped I was wrong on this patch, I test every patch but it was clear they bit off more than they could chew on this one. They should have utilized better time management before coding the changes for most classes instead of doing several overhauls. Unfortunately 4.0 was leaked so it was unlikely they would have used private testers again but this patch would have gone way more smoothly if they did. Transparency on this patch earlier probably would have saved it. It's obvious they don't have any clue on the player climate of their game. That's okay to admit, Austin gets worked HARD on several games. And we get that the game needed an overhaul to run on newer PCs, I was one of those people who had to lasso my CPU to be able to run the game and was unable to really PvP in the game until this patch. It's clear those improvements have been made and some hard work has been done which we thank you for. Now we are stuck with a very broken and very incomplete patch, lackluster story, and a lot of classes that underperform. A gearing system many people just aren't up for grinding out when it takes so much time to just kill trash. This game is giving the veteran players depression, that is not okay. You missed the mark on it being enjoyable, we just don't want it.
  2. This is happening to Satele Shan too. We are in warzones, getting spikes, it's kicking several people and it's kicking several players only for warzones to be won by default. The players only return to get a debuff queue lockout so I imagine there's about to be several unhappy players on the forums here shortly.
  3. There needs to be matchmaker changes for sure. There are a lot of players who just perform very well on most, if not all of their classes, most of them have friends in multiple guilds as they have become very social within the game and outside of it through discord, etc. Many people scream about killing premades but it would definitely kill the point of an MMO, period. But on the other aspect of it, I totally understand just losing game after game despite not being complete garbage and queueing solo because your normal friends haven't been able to be online currently. This game is meant to be social and if you do not like it, make friends or more friends. The matchmaker should pair premades against premades, maybe not the same ones on repeat otherwise it's just the same one losing to the better one; it also should NEVER put multiple premades on the same team unless it can do the same on the opposite side. It happens fairly often where both premades are put on one side and it leads to complete annihilation of the enemy team (of PUGs) despite their best efforts, even with good players on the other side. I would also recommend changes to deathmatches for regs where if there is an uneven number at the start with no backfill from someone leaving or not taking the pop, it randomly kills a player, possibly the one class the enemy side doesn't have. If one person backfills dead and has to wait so should the other side. It doesn't like to time out the match with only one player missing, and during slow pops I am not sure I want it to; but, it almost always means a loss for those players and I am not sure that is a fair situation. For regs deathmatches, it seems like a more than fair solution to have to sit out, maybe get an option to spectate and move around so you can play better if it fills for the next round and help guide your team.
  4. So erm, I had a bit of a mishap and fell into some lava on Ord Mantell trying to do a cheev. Well, said lava wasn't properly applying the burning debuff. I had to quick travel out to the main camp only to discover the burning debuff had now applied, been stuck on, relogs/death could not get rid of it. So there I was just sitting there in Fort Ganrik, slowly burning to death where I began to suddenly get quite the following of level 10ish noobs all asking the same question "where do I buy that armor?" lol. Never have I ever been so popular before. WTB stuff that makes me look like I ate Taco Bell pls k thx.
  5. Hello new face palm thread. It's not OP you need to consider burst vs hot for one. Hots are slow but they're always going to be more rewarding as they are slower. Nontheless, a hot will literally do nothing to save someone if there is enough burst/focus fire on a person to take them down. No dps operative is going to keep anyone alive indefinitely, especially not themselves. I can be far more effective offhealing on a merc just because it's nice and bursty (if they take the cleanse reduction cooldown they can also cleanse their friends faster), and sorcs can rescue people to give them a bunch of mitigation (on a utility). Take all of this into account, it's hardly an overpowered issue. Spend some time learning about the class and how to beat it effectively instead of crying about it on the forums. That said yes offheals can be quite frustrating in arenas for sure. Team work, instead of mindless tunneling, is going to triumph as it rightfully should.
  6. Using Escape grants entrench (require us to press escape twice for it)to become immune to CC and interrupts for 5 seconds I would recommend it becoming siege like, if we use it we are stuck in place for the duration.
  7. It would be nice to have a PVE set that makes it so Stim Boost turns Kolto waves into orbital Kolto Strike allowing us to cast something and keep throwing out single target heals more efficiently in a pinch but with a considerable cooldown to make it not insanely OP. I would also like something for toughness in pvp, the other 2 healers get something where they can more or less stay in combat and keep fighting. We do get cloaking screen but unless you take the util you typically get popped out of it in seconds. A bonus to make cloaking screen give us 4 seconds of invulnerability while in stealth to let our hots tick a bit would be awesome. Note for balance: it would also be nice to get unkakeable on the first roll, not the second since most of us rarely double roll, it triggers the stuck bug that ultimately gets us booted out of WZ, it's very obvious and usually someone just runs up and stuns us, and we try to space out the exfiltrate mitigation bonus as much as possible; instead give it the cooldown from proccing as if it were the same as it is. Maybe make Curbing Strategies utility work on toxic haze for medicine too just so we can control our distance a little better even at the cost of Tactical Advantage. Evasion (this would be nice for quasi offheals in lethality too) could heal the group for X amount of dmg received. Recuperative nanotech applies a spike damage buff to the group/ops making every attack cause X amount to dmg to the attacker for 5 seconds. My only other idea would be something to give us a break from constant pressure in pvp because we are so vulnerable but it might be a bad idea because if a medicine op actually does have a guard they're pretty hard to kill.
  8. It seems like the main point of all of this is that there's a significant player base that is casual and subs specifically for regs. Ever since the RNG and now Ossus changes they're being forced into doing things they don't pay to do. That was most of my guild. Many of them don't mind doing regs or occasional ranked to gear for pvp; however, this massive grind to just queue regs is not something most of them are willing to pay for. Most of my guild is currently unsubbed, uses a friend as their queue daddy and just gets the 252 gear without subbing when they feel like it. All it's doing is bringing the reg pvp quality considerably down more than it was before. The thing is the 252 bolster isn't terrible but facing us over the bolster can be quite frustrating, especially with premades. They could, bolster us down for regs at 252 and I'm sure a lot of people would dial back on their complaints. Another part of it is, as the worlds okayest heal operative, I really don't belong in ranked. I have health problems that leave me with no sensation in my hands and fingertips, along with significant pain in my hands, and brain fog, it's not the place for me. I have good days and bad days and struggle to use key binds or my mouse. Ranked players are far too toxic for most of us to even put in the effort for that. In the future I see people wallet warrioring from gold farmers just to have their main hand and offhand crafted, that in itself is the major problem. Most seem willing to put in extra work doing lower content than have to do the current end game stuff as it stands, it's buggy and it's just not what most of the people I play with pay to do. If that's the case I'm sure overtime, in the coming months, it will get easier obtain or the prices of the mats, hopefully, go down.
  9. Yeah I hope it fixes the missing shells as well, while we do love having extra refills on the empty shells, my entire dps 252 set just disappeared from my bank along with some heal shells. I'm going to be less than pleased if I have to grind for it all over again just to make 258 upgrades.
  10. Truth. I already removed my sub over this. It's become too much of a grind; granted I don't mind having to work for gear but this is ridiculous. If they want to force us to play spaceships they should at least have balanced it to not where everyone just flies around in gunships and the other classes actually have a purpose. They didn't provide anything for support players. The bug with the missions just means I'm wasting my time here. Time to go back to Eve and fire up some logistics, at least there I feel useful and can enjoy what I'm paying for. Looks like the trash taking itself out today boys. Peace.
  11. RIP confirmed. My dumb*** fell for it and had no idea until I read this post and went pubside to confirm it. At first I thought it was just bugged and relisted it to not have to deal with it. Luckily I am not out that much, but yea, a little pissed I fell for it and didn't actually pay attention to what I was buying (in all fairness I was day drunk). Lesson learned, should have learned it in Eve but nah, here I am again lol. Pulled my listing and went ahead and filed a bug report to support yours.
  12. I say I agree, it would be nice to actually be able to buy the stuff to craft the gear, even if it was insanely expensive. The other thing I really dislike is that Armstech, already the worst crafting tree, gets absolutely no love and we're told we have to wait for the main-hand patch in the future. It's not like Artifice where you at least have relics to craft. It has me contemplating if I should just take it off my main because I spend so much time on alts I would rather not be on because there isn't really anything to craft on my main and I prefer to multitask if I can. Maybe allow us to craft the forgotten items? IDC if it costs 100 Ossan Assembly Components and has an insane cool down; just please give us something!
  13. Been hoping you would release her armor for some time. Those boots are glorious. I would spend a retarded amount of money on CC to have her armor for sure.
  14. Aww, Please tell the slicing slaves (BW Coders) we appreciate the hard work. I'll proceed to sit on my hands refreshing Twitter in anticipation.
  15. I was actually looking at the fact that one of the guild perks, specifically Warzone Exploiter specifies "Rep" although I believe it a typo to be valor. Is that correct? Still, the idea of being able to get some (even if it is slower) reputation for Warzones might offset the outcry of hardcore PVPers who never do PVE what-so-ever. Maybe consider doing a daily pvp mission of a specific warzone and have specific objectives based requirements to complete? For instance defend or cap a node 5 times in civil war. It could help offset the problem with number farming and return people back to do objectives. Make people have to actually try to win games vs just press buttons and have their friends pat them on the back. Another could be pass the Huttball in Quesh, etc. This could also be an opportunity for some people who finish their dailies on their few characters (vs those of us that have legendary and will max out the weekly fast) to do something when they run out of alts to obtain reputation on. Provided the Warzone Missions give a different reputation pack maybe with significantly less reputation, Warzone exploiter could still give bonus to reputation as written. It would also be nice to give people a reason to be in the pvp instances. Like Iokath I foresee a lot of people just porting into the PVE instance to do the world boss and other things because they don't want to pvp for resources or they lose a 1v1. Consider keeping the world boss in the pvp instances only? I know there might be some issues with that, but some games where you have to pvp to pve in the past had amazing concepts behind them. Maybe just lock people out once the boss is engaged. So they either coordinate to get their entire ops into the area and fight their way in or they lose and the other group gets the boss. The only downside is often these things are won by respawning and running back. It also seems like a good idea to keep stealth sins/shadows from just taunting the boss and resetting him indefinitely too.
