  1. Trauma regulators and Kolto surge should've gone to Powertech, or be universal utilities between mercs and pt. Blows my mind how they gave mercs all the love.

  3. That is actually how it has always been. Yeah for some reason the male BH chuckles like a person who smokes a pack of Marlboros every day for 20 years whenever they get a proc. It was like that back when Pyrotech had the proccing rail shot and it continued when they flipped the discipline with advanced prototype.
  4. This was the first mmo I went hardcore at back at launch in 2011. Its like my highschool sweetheart, we've since moved on due to differences of opinions and not fulfilling desires but I always get a fire in me thinking about it. Yeah back before the Dark vs Light event players actually had to visit and do nearly every quest on every planet to level up. It was one of the best features of the game actually because this games main story is an amazing product. But now you can do one class quest and hit level 30 before you have time to think. I stopped playing full time back in 2015 ish, but I occasionally come back to see how things are going. And the very best thing about this game in my opinion, is the combat and how each of the classes play. Hands down some of the best mmo combat in the business, I've tried nearly all of them too. But when they start making big shifts in how the class combat behaved I got a real bad feeling in my gut. The removal of iconic abilities was truly heartbreaking, flamethrower on bounty hunter became a flame fart, master strike/ravage became a 1 GCD spasm attack, no more Death from Above on my favorite class PT? It was absurd. I just can't fathom the effects more pruning will have on the state of the game. I honestly believe this game will lose one of its greatest assets, its combat.
  5. The emphysema laugh really should be togglable. Every time I show some gameplay of my AP powertech to someone who is curious about the game they always point it out and find it jarring.
  6. First they took our sideways pistol Unload animation, then replaced our awesome flamethrower/firestorm with a flame fart. They also gave us a rocket minifridge on our back in place of Death from Above. This spec is the only reason I keep coming back to the game, but they keep doing weird things to it, it hurts my soul.
  7. The Grade 10 crafting material Encrypted Memory Core seems to have been made unavailable for players unless purchased from the GTN. Other Grade 10 Artifact crafting materials such as Charged Matter Transubstantiator are available for purchase at Jawa scrap vendors but not the memory core.
  8. I was also trying to find a place to purchase this crafting mat, since I have no interest in grinding for new augs and the old ones would work just fine. But can't get them from Jawa vendors, and gtn has slim pickings. Guess I can't craft 242 augs now....

  10. The devs have never been able to properly balance this class I swear. For the longest time they have been so ridiculously overpowered and now the coin has flipped. Its been my main spec since launch and all I want is it to be middle of the pack, not overpowered or a wet noodle but a good solid class that people look at and go "meh". But now pt dps has to hump pillars along with the sorcs but without any reliable self heals. Tanking has been the same play style for ages but with flame farts instead of awesome flamethrowers. I'm still scratching my head at the dcds that were given to mercs. I participated in Season 4 ranked with my merc with no issues and back then they didn't have reflect bubble, energy shield heal, or 60% kolto heal and I felt pretty unstoppable. Mercs were the class that had to have good kiting abilities and los to really shine but now they face tank while PT pillar humps, it feels backwards.
  11. Just going to add my 2 cents. Firestorm/Flamethrower animations should have never been changed. That was a huge selling point for my PT tank I've played since launch. Searing Wave (or Flame Fart as I like to call it) is just terrible, and only looks like it would be effective for removing enemy eyebrows. I'm okay with the change to Death From Above and Explosive Dart, but I really think powertechs should be given a new ability to make up for the clunky play style they suffer from now (and to replace the one that has been removed).
  12. Yeah the new Flame Fart is terrible. I've played PT tank since launch and the flamethrower was one of the big sellers. Hell, when they added firestorm a couple updates ago that was even better because the animation was just awesome! Now the flame fart is just lame and depressing. Very sad they killed flamethrower.
  13. That is right, Hardmode Blood Hunt's very first boss has to be THE most difficult flashpoint boss ever! All these move mechanics and dps checks and heal checks! It is absolutely TOO MUCH! And this boss does not give any good loot drops!........ We have all heard this before, right? We all know about this fight....but is it really THAT bad of a fight for a Hardmode Flashpoint? My answer is a resounding NO! Here's why; No a long time ago, back in the days when the max level was 50, and the Best in Slot gear was Rakata gear....the almighty game Devs gave us Hardmode Flashpoint grinders a Hardmode flashpoint to end all flashpoints...I'm talking about Lost Island! Now let me tell ya, Hardmode Lost Island back in my day was no joke! You were going in there at lvl 50 wearing Columi Gear at best and giving it your all to down those bosses, and you know what happened at the end of the flashpoint? You got a SET BONUS RAKATA CHEST PIECE! Now why do I bring this up? Well its simple, the greater the challenge the greater the reward! Hardmode Lost Island was very challenging back in the day for your average PUG group, so why not make Blood Hunt the new "Lost Island"? Don't make anything easier, heck make it harder for all I care! Just make that sucker rewarding! Because after all, we all want a cookie for doing good!
  14. The Disciplines damage is not the issue, its the Kolto Overload not having a reduction in CD when you get attacked that is the problem. The Flame Sweep DoT spread is just fluff damage anyway so thats not even a huge deal.
