May the Force be with you all. I've been around off and on since launch. My main is a 65 Sith Sorcerer whom I've taken a break from to finish all of the original class stories. I've had the game for 10 years, I might as well. So far I've finished; the Sith Inquisitor, Sith Warrior, Republic Trooper, Republic Smuggler, Jedi Knight and I'm days away from finishing the Jedi Consular. Maybe one day if I just sit down an knock it out. After that I will finish the Bounty Hunter and Imperial Agent. Once that is completed I will probably go back to my Sith Sorc unless...A Republic Guild is a better fit. Then, I'm not sure which class would be my main. Here's what I'm looking for in a guild be it Republic or Sith Empire: 1) I'm looking for a more casual gameplay experience. I'd like to be able to group up and do flashpoints and raids when possible, but I'm 43. I have a career, a wife, two dogs, and a passable social life. I'm not trying to spend every waking moment raiding. 2) Mature players - Again, I'm 43. I'd prefer to play with gamers of a similar age. 30 - 50 would be my preferred age group, but it's not a total deal breaker. 3) Whatever the main guild is, it would be nice if you also had an alt guild for characters on the other side. I've enjoyed both sides of the game and wouldn't want to give up one side simply because I joined a guild. Again, not a deal breaker, just a nice bonus. Greetings, I played for the first year after launch and then my guild fell apart and I lost interest. I recently came backto the game and love the changes they have made. I'm looking for a decent size guild that plays on both Republic and Empire, though my main is a level 65 Sith Sorcerer. However, I also have a 53 Commando, 34 Sage, 33 Juggernaut, and the rest are in the 20s. I'm not so big on PvP, but I would like to find a steady group of poeple to do flashpoints and raids. A little about myself in RL, I'm a 37 y/o Navy Veteran, living in Dallas, TX. I'm married with two dogs, so I'm not on a ton. maybe 10 - 15 hours per week. Not if the people firing the weapons at you are any good. You'll just be a spot on the pavement.

No idea if you're serious or not (I seriously hope not) I started here but by the time I was done reading, I ended here.

$60 + $15/mo for 12 months = $240 first year investment. If you bought 4 new PS3/Xbox 360 games you would pay...$240. At an average of 50 hours per game (for an RPG, less for an FPS) you get 200 hours of game play out of your four games and $240. If you played TOR 1 hour per day during the week. and 2 hours/day on the weekend, that's 9 hours per week (well below the MMO average.) 9 * 52 = 468 hours of gameplay. Not to mention TOR contains 8 class stories. I'm sorry, TOR is a MUCH BETTER value for the money. Also, "Nothing in end except wasted hours of your life." Nothing, eh? No memories of playing with friends? No funny stories told over vent. No good times at all? Guess what, what you said could be said about any hobby.
