  1. How often do you actually use DI? I know I rarely use it, and only in dire emergencies. My preferred heal method is Resurgence and then hit them with Innervate. I get 4 crits on an Innervate an awful lot and those are critting for over 2k per tick which gives me 8k heals. Far more effective, costs less force and more reliable. I would argue power over crit for that very reason. Plus you can only use Recklessness when available, so once again DI becomes a heal to avoid not build stats to improve.
  2. I don't think your gear isn't good enough but you aren't statted the way I would recommend to be most effecient with your heals. Your crit is too high. You should not have any non 61 mods if you are going into EC HM. Look at your local GTN if necessary for Advanced Aptitude 26. This mod stacks willpower and power. If you have extra BH comms you can buy gear and rip it apart for the mod as well. Personally I like the 2 piece bonus on gear but the 4 piece isn't necessary. Nice to have but not completely necessary so I wouldn't prioritize the 50 force over more power or willpower.
  3. To the best of my knowledge a 24 schematic will only drop in EV and KP and are rare. End game mods and armorings (level 26) will only be found on BH and Campaign gear. The mods can be RE'd from any piece of gear. The armorings are the tricky part, you have to kill Kephiss on HM EC to get the generic version and then convince your guild to let you RE it.
  4. It can be found on SM EC but has a better chance on HM EC. You can also get it with 200 fleet comms from the vendor if you purchase the grade 8 crafting material box.
  5. 1- I don't pvp but I know this is where most perceive sorcerors to be weak, especially healers (which is what I play). For PVE I think sorcerors are still sought after for healers. 2 - As a healer I think my spec is fine, although I would like a faster cast for DI, even if it was triggered by another ability and had a cooldown. Something that could be used in extreme emergencies. Aside from that I find everything about my healer to be quite fun.
  6. Ya these armorings are rare. It is to your benefit if you can convince your guild to let you RE them because a success would benefit the guild and guild bank. However it is a gamble at 20% chance. I have RE'd 4 so far. 2 I bought from GTN at 3million each and 2 provided by the guild, no luck so far. I have a lot of luck on BH and Campaign mod schematics so hopefully armorings will change their luck for me soon.
  7. I can confirm everything you have said is true. I am cybertech. I have 7 schematics for mods so far from BH and Campaign gear I have stripped and RE'd. Armoring can only be learned from the armoring that drops off of Kephiss HM which makes this extremely rare. I have attempted to learn armoring several times and no success yet but it does state the 20% chance to learn it. You are also correct that somebody else cannot learn the schematic from an item I have crafted. I know this because several have tried after purchasing my mods then end up trying to sell them again on the GTN.
  8. To me the obvious downside to gathering all of this info is it needs to be done when the issue is happening, which for me is typically in raids.
  9. Denova had bad lag on Drooga's this past Saturday night. We all filed tickets. Got he general response to check your modem, router etc.... Obviously if it happens to everyone in the zone it isn't anything on our side. Updated ticket. Here is the email I got, it looks like they need more info so hopefully everyone can start gathering this for them. Greetings Thandar, I am Protocol Droid U3-O4, Human-Cyborg Relations. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing lag or latency. I understand how important it is for you to play the game smoothly. I'll do my best to help you. If you guild mates are experiencing the same issue, you may need to ask them to send tham an email about the issue using their own email address. This way, we will be able to troubleshoot individually and request file from the computers that your guild mates are using. However, for your issue, please refer below. Please be advised that high latency means your latency meter in game is above a normal level. The meter located in your display will be red if you are experiencing high latency. This does not refer to slow or choppy gameplay. Video or hardware issues that occur in busy areas are not latency (unless your meter is also red). To resolve this issue, we need to first identify what connection type are you using. We have to follow the step by step procedure. We need to make sure first if there's really no problem with your connection. Once we have eliminated that factor, then we'll move forward to the next step. If you're using a Wireless connection: • Please connect to your router device using a wired Ethernet connection. This will help troubleshoot whether the wireless connection is stopping you from connecting to the game. • If you are not able to test the game by using a wired Ethernet connection, we will advise you to ensure that your wireless connection is as stable as possible. Microsoft has given the following advice for improving wireless connections: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/setup/wirelesstips.aspx If you're using an Ethernet connection: • If you are connected to a USB modem, please connect to the modem using Ethernet instead. If it doesn't have an Ethernet option, kindly connect the modem directly to a USB port on your computer and not to a USB hub. • If you are connected to a modem and then to a router, please try to connect directly to the modem. (Please be advised that all these steps are at your own risk and if your computer has no active protection (Windows Firewall or similar, or Windows Defender or similar) we strongly recommend to activate these before connecting directly to the modem. • If you are connected to an Ethernet hub or switch and then to a modem/router, try connecting directly to the modem/router. If you are using mobile broadband like 3G modem (USB stick), please switch to a local broadband connection if possible since we cannot offer support solutions for 3G users. After the above steps, kindly configure your Firewall/Router by adding SWTOR executable files to the list of exceptions. Please also make sure that all your drivers are updated. • If you access the internet through an external broadband modem, be sure you have the latest firmware and drivers available for your modem. • If your computer connects to the modem via USB, be sure you have the latest drivers for your motherboard or your USB PCI card. • If your computer connects to the modem via Ethernet, be sure that your network card has the latest drivers installed. • Kindly open the appropriate network card properties, to click on Configure and to go to the “Power Management” tab and unselect the “Allow Computer to turn off this device to save power” if selected. Kindly remove any third-party interfaces or add-ons. If the problem occurs, then you need to perform a trace route already. To perform trace route: 1. While you are logged into SWTOR, kindly press "Alt" and "Tab" together 2. Please gather the IP information A. Press Windows Key + R, enter ‘cmd’ and press Enter (a Command Console window should appear) B. Type the following into the Command Window that appears: netstat -n -p tcp -b | more C. You will see a line like this one (depending on SWTOR): i. TCP XXX.XX.XX.XX:*****YY.YYY.YYY.YY:**** ESTABLISHED ZZZZ [swtor.exe] ii. The X is your local IP address. iii. The Y is the address of the server you are connecting to. iv. The 4 digit numbers, represented by *'s in both cases, indicate the port used. v. The Z is the process id for SWTOR on your computer. D. There will be two (or more) entries for the [swtor.exe] application; E. There are currently two possible port ranges while the game is running: 12000-12999 and/or20000-29999 (Please note that the port ranges may change from time to time.) 3. In order to get the information from your connection, in the same command window, please type in: A. tracert YY.YYY.YYY.YY > C:\tracert.txt B. Using the IP address denoted above with YY.YYY.YYY.YY Make sure that you perform the command without the appropriate port number that has been found in Step 2. C. A file will be created on your local drive (C:\) called tracert.txt which will contain the trace route information. D.Please wait while the command finishes (this can take several minutes). Once you have returned to the command window, this signifies that the command is finished. 4. Please attach the tracert.txt to your reply for a complete analysis. Kindly reply directly to this email with the requested files attached and we will investigate the matter further for you. Should you require further assistance with any other issue, please do not hesitate to contact us again. Galactic Support is our specialty... Sincerely, Protocol Droid U3-O4 (aka Marla) Star Wars: The Old Republic Customer Service
  10. If you are on Drooga's hit me up (Thandar) Imperial side. I will buy all the Molecular Stabilizers (blue grade 8 crafting mat) you get for 100k each on a regular basis.
  11. Artifice is EXTREMELY useful in guilds to the person willing to work on it. Your schematics won't drop in end game. You have to learn them. So for the diligent person who wants to learn them for the guild you must spend your Black Hole comms to buy gear, rip it apart and reverse engineer the enhancements. You will have a 20% chance to learn the schematic. On a side note if you successfully learn the schematic you very likely will be the only person on your server who has the schematic. This is an opportunity to make credits for yourself and your guild.
  12. I am not certain on item level 25 Enhancements, however I know for sure you can RE item level 26 Enhancements. The problem is the cost. You need to spend your BH comms to buy the gear, rip the enhancement out then RE it, you will have a 20% chance for success. I am Cybertech and have done this with mods. I currently have 4 schematics and make millions off of those 4.
  13. I have 4 level 26 Mod patterns I have learned from BH gear. Armorings cannot be learned however.
  14. Essentially they are watching the weekend traffic on current destination servers to see if it spikes high enough that they need another destination server for you. If population remains under control they will consider moving you to one of the current destination servers. The RISK they are talking about is whether they have enough destination servers as it stands now or whether they want more destination servers. BW does not want to send you from an empty server to a destination server that is also empty. So now with the remaining servers that have not been able to transfer they fine tune it to try and make sure each destination server provides a similar gaming experience for every one.
  15. Come on man it isn't that hard. If the forums are too much of a hassle for you it is advertised right on the game LAUNCHER that this is all starting to happen. You guys want a fed -ex guy to hand deliver a special note that it is now time to consider moving? BW has announced it at E3, put it in the forums, put it on the launcher, advertised it in multiple media venues and yet you are saying "What if people don't know?" Crawl out from under the rock once in a while.
