  1. 1. People seem to remain concerned that corruption sorceror's aren't really up to par as healers. 2. I find corruption sorceror's to be good healers provided I am able to constantly focus on healing. I can hardly do any healing if I have to move a lot, or if my healing target is getting out of my range, forcing me to move a lot. A 2 second cast time feels very slow.
  2. 1. People seem to perceive all of the Sentinel specs as being overpowered. 2. I find the watchman spec to be a lot of fun, and to really be in a good place at the moment.
  3. 1. People perceive that kinetic combat spec of Shadows to be unable to compete in high level tanking with guardians and vanguards. 2. I find the spec to be a good tank, though I find that the self healing really does very little to improve my survivability at all in a group situation, it suffices while soloing, but in flashpoints and operations, feels like it might as well not be there.
  4. 1. No real idea how other people perceive the Vanguard Shield Specialist spec. 2. I find the Shield Specialist spec to be adaquate in most ways, though resource management is challenging against opponents whose attacks cannot be shielded. The current Shield Cycler talent makes energy cells commonly a feast or famine state, If I am lucky with shielding and lucky with the talent proccing, I am fine on cells, if I have bad RNG, or am facing an opponent that relies mostly on force/tech attacks, I am very quickly out of energy cells and unable to keep threat.
  5. 1. The guardian vigilance spec was generally regarded as a sub-par dps spec by other people. 2. I found Vigilance to be fine as a dps spec in terms of damage and utility, but found that it was highly rotational, really just being concerned with hitting whichever ability was off cooldown at the time.
  6. While the percentages look different, damage increase and damage reduction for expertise are actually equal. This is how multiplication works. Assume you have two players with equal expertise, their respective expertise should completely cancel out, and it does. So lets give both players enough expertise for a 10% damage increase. Player A inflicts 1000 damage before expertise. 10% expertise makes this 1100 damage. If Player B has equal expertise, his damage reduction from expertise needs to be ~ 9% not 10%. 1000 * 1.1 * .9 = 990. 1000 * 1.1 * .91 = 1001. If damage reduction was set at 10% then damage reduction from expertise would actually be higher than the damage increase. Expertise before 1.2 was handled via addition and subtraction, but with 1.2 was changed to be multiplicative, thus it looks like expertise reduces damage by less than it increases damage by, but in fact it was setup so that with two people of equal expertise attacking each other, their expertise continues to cancel out.
  7. Create hardmode versions of Hammer Station, Athiss, Mandalorian Raiders, Colicoid War Games, Cademimu and Red Reaper.
  8. I understand the desire to limit server transfers as a means of balancing populations, but there are a few things that need to be taken into account. For one, many players, including myself, rerolled on a new server in order to play with a higher population prior to transfers being available. We would all really like to be able to put all of our characters onto one server. So, in the initial round of transfers, something needs to be worked out so that people can unify characters onto one server. Second, some people want to change what type of server they play on. I have characters on an RP server, but would actually prefer to have them on a regular PvE server. Other people may have started on a PvE server, but now wish to get characters transferred to a PvP server. The origin type and destination type servers should not be strictly the same.
  9. Server: Lord Adraas Characters: Nemuri (republic) Mallery (republic) Cylena (Imperial)
  10. I had a great time levelling to 50 as Infiltration. Yes, its harder than some other classes/specs I've played. The added challenge forced me to pay attention and play strategically, use every bit of control I could. Plus, buzz saw aka Clairvoyant Strike looks awesome.
