  1. Yes i'm tracking it and he dissapears, then when i click on the droids icon next to it i get the error message. I tried searching for answers seems most of the post are older...
  2. After all these years i came back and decided to work on my legendary player, and decided to do a story mode FP while lvling, issue is every time i ding, my combat droid vanishes (even mid combat) and I can't summon a new one I get "you must me in a solo story mode FP" but i am. If reset the FP he comes back but that sort of defeats the purpose since i'm going to ding at least once i'm sure.... anyone else notice this? or have a solution besides resetting the FP?
  3. So I've tried to work on this event and every time i go to the tunnels it sends me back to the fleet after saying "the Rakghoul outbreak has subsided" and the daily in space port for infected citizens doesn't give me credit, is there a specific time of day this needs to be done or am i missing something else?
  4. O.o wow that's new... i had to call when my physical one died after 6-7 years of use.
  5. It comes down to the following in my view email account been hacked by someone yep, when / how is a question I still kinda have, find out more from scans after I get home. what are the chances they even care that person logs into a game called swtor In this case based on the times of log in from IP logs, to the time my SWTOR emails came it was the first thing someone went for, no other game account was touched no other signs from any other type of account that email is set up for. Even odder that I haven’t played SWTOR in a few weeks as I was busy, and then at BLIZZCON, and haven’t logged in since I got back. what else apart from hacking into a game can they now do with access to all your emails ? several things really, but all require multi-authentication (better that what SWTOR has I hope lol) and have had been verified / passwords changed as best as possible till I get off work. All are also set to always act like it’s a public computer to prompt for more levels of security for access, very annoying but worth it. No notifications of unusual log-in activity from any other accounts either. (something I’m going to have a nice chat with my email provider about not noticing as well…) Now what am I concerned about when they hack my email address , should I be worried they accessed a game I played or should I be worried what else have they accessed ? So I pick and choose, the only sign of compromise is here as such I brought some awareness to it, even one person learns something its worth it. And on the plus side I finally made my email password more secure. It was pretty much in real time, notice emails, check log in IPS, track it oh ****… change password to email, then work on SWTOR account, other stuff verified after.
  6. This is what i was thinking it would take.... its on me for not knowing/ keeping up with their changes. Anytime i've had to make a change to other accounts /games with security tokens its always taken a phone call so thus my shock. I'm not passing blame at anyone here its all about awareness, or maybe i'm the only that thought the token provided greater security than it does. Again based on how my token works for other accounts / games.
  7. which is an interesting use of security token.. and a pretty weak one compared to the RSA tokens we use for clients at work.... Nor is that easy to remove the token if lost. bought credits? nope not that serious of a SWTOR player got a few mil and the supplies my needs, been to gold selling sties? yeah but its been awhile (like several months ago (5+?) doing price checks for another games vs buying and selling tokens didn't buy and it was a rather well known site that i wont name cause not sure of forum rules on it). Def gonna do a full scan when i get home, prob download malware bites for a scan as well. And i live alone so no one else is on the PC ever. I def suspect key logger of some sort over brute force, just dissapointed in SWTOR security with a token, that its that easy to remove.
  8. it was hacked, it's fixed... my pass word was weak on that account and i was well aware.. no big deal anymore. Also, easy enough to brute force a password to known email address with time. But getting around a security token was confusing as i didn't realize how weak SWTOR's protection was with tokens attached.. So not really freaked over pixiles as much as wondering how they got around the token (which i now know thanks to the other post) and warning others if they were / are unaware as to how easy they are to by pass with SWTOR vs say blizzard..
  9. O.O wow just wow talk about false sense of security lol... that does explain the one time use password things.... and yeah i meant have access to read the email. and I Agree with everything else you said about security questions, best way to do is as you said, or mix it up. "what's your favorite car?" Cat. Whats your favorite animal? Ford .. etc... it helps a little...
  10. that last part is wacked... I had no clue you could remove a token without having it with you.. even Blizzard requires the serial number from a dead on over the phone and proof of ID / ownership before they will remove it ( I know cause i finally had to do it with my original one) Kinda makes it pointless if its so easy to by pass with just an email address...
  11. I'm very much aware of the email being hacked, and has been re-secured but my email alone shouldn't give access to my SWTOR account with a security token attached, when I've had to enter in those numbers even just to log into the website (until tonight when it was removed) . Surely you can't remove a token without entering the code from said token.... If so that's pretty poor implementation of a security device. from the time of the breach of my email to SWTOR was fairly short also, checked the IP logs on my email log ins, came from Korea. all in all my email was breached for less than 10 mins and SWTOR just a bit longer. also i'm aware of how they handle issues over the phone but as I said that is not an option from my work and wont be for at least 5-6+ more hours till i'm home.
  12. So i'm sitting at work and notice my in my personal email i got a a series of emails, SWTOR display name request, password reset request, one time use password two times back to back... then bam .. notice that my SWTOR password has been changed and then a character transfer request, started. Now I have an old school original CE edition account with the Token attached so somehow they got around that, and it seems removed it, cause i was able to reset my password again myself without having to input the token code.... i'll deal with it more when i get home but more so curious if anyone has seen it / warning others even with a token. edit: got into my account and sure enough the token is now removed from account.. I can't call support from work nor can i log into the game to contact them so posting here as i didn't see an email option (which makes zero sense).
  13. found my token to log in after moving... almost gave up! But on topic level sync needs to be toggle-able. I can't stand it in open world zones, its why i left GW2 after a few weeks, i had to go back and get some copper to catch up my crafting and *** i'm dealing with low level mobs.. no I don't find that fun at all. I get some people do but why force it. I've been a sub for awhile now even while taking breaks (like the past 6 months..) i left my sub active to support the game but level sync will likely change that for me. I hope this turns into the no-flying for SWOTR and they add a toggle, was looking forward to giving the game another go :/
