Thanks for the offer, I think I caught up on everything though. I've read all the Glaad stuff which was great to see, I'll be sending my own email tomorrow, read that ridiculous thread last night, luckily it was closed before I got to the end of the thread since I was getting ready to post a hell of a rant before I had even reached page 10. I'm also in the UK so used to missing out on a fair bit as well. Seems unless we go to bed about 4am and get up at like 6am it's almost inevitable something will have been removed . Ah I'll have to see if I can still post or not after it runs out. I can't remember exactly when that is but it should be soon. Absolutley agree about not making it their sole defining feature. I don't mind a bit of "I hate Imperials", but those characters are a ton more interesting when they're more rounded and given other characteristics. A great example for the type of companion I'd like is Zaeed Massani from Mass Effect 2/3. He's not a perfect fit due to being a bit of a ******* lol but he's got that seasoned warrior who's actually experienced life down to a tee. Of course it helps that he's voiced by the awesome Robin Sachs which does make me a little biased, seeing as he's easy on the eyes, was awesome in Buffy and was strongly implied to have been more than just Giles friend at some point in their past For a female companion I would love to see a Miranda Lawson type Agent. Not overly butch, not overly feminine but just a person who is very good at their job, more than capable at fighting and just happens to be female.

Well that's the last time I go on holiday. Judging by the sheer amount of reading I had to catch up on last night and today, all the interesting stuff happens when I'm not around ;P. My sub is due to run out in a few days and I'm not gonna resub for now, expensive month with Christmas so close and since the SGRA's aren't here yet saving that little bit from the sub will be handy. Whilst I can still post I'm curious to know if they were to implement new companions for SGRA's what kind of characters would you want? I think it's fairly safe to say that the majority here wouldn't want these companions to be stereotypical in any way shape or form. Personally I would love to see a male SGRA companion who was a Mandalorian warrior similar to Torian but a bit older and more battle worn.

Personally I think it's pretty clear that they're being discriminatory. This content has not been handled in the same manner as other content. It is not given close to the same treatment on the forums, is restricted in the number of threads allowed to discuss it in a way that no other topic is and is completely ignored when it makes up the highest percentage in threads asking the community to list questions. I may be wrong but I'm sure I remember a pm someone posted where a community rep stated that discussion of this content was handled differently because of the subject matter and the potential for the topic to receive negative comments. I'll have to have a scout through the thread and see if I can find it, but at any rate that shows that they are not treating it the same. Regardless of whether it is done under the belief of protection it is still discrimination.

I'm not a huge fan of the Inq's options either. I'm hoping that with SGRA's we might see Talos become available as I love his personality and he matches up with my Inq perfectly.

Along with many others I've been here since the topic first came about three years ago looking for answers and received very, very little response. I'm not done...but I am tired. It doesn't matter how long someone's been pushing for the content, when you're constantly hitting brick walls it gets tiring. The lack of response gets annoying, the same arguments against it get annoying, the constant trolling of the topic gets annoying.

Wow so much arguing because someone wants an option for their own client to display something differently? Any would think the OP is demanding these crystals be removed!

I think you're missing the point here. It isn't an unreasonable expectation for a company to stick to what they've stated. When these merges happened people worried that they would lose access to characters so the specifically asked Bioware if such a thing would happen and were told not to worry. Now they are going to have to pay to access these characters because Bioware have pulled a complete turn around and are now looking to charge those people. I was lucky after the merge, I only had 11 characters on my server. Other people weren't so lucky though no fault of their own. It is completely unreasonable to expect them to pay for these characters when they were encouraged not to worry. If they want to make a solution then simply increase the character limit so that everyone can equally have the same number of characters, rather than punishing members who are already paying for access to the game.

I would hardly call the quickbars quality of life. Some classes simply cannot operate with only two quick bars which means their essential to play the game. My partner decided to come back to the game with F2P and was looking forward to playing, he only quit because with economic times being hard we couldn't afford two subs and he wasn't into the game as much as me. He only lasted a couple of hours, not because he wasn't enjoying the game but because he already had two characters who were both high level and have too many skills to be able to use with just two bars. He didn't want to delete one of those two and create a new one when the same issue would arise as soon as he hit a high level again and right now we just don't have the spare cash to purchase coins to buy those slots so he's re-uninstalled. In a month or two when money isn't as tight he might have spent some money in the cash shop buying various other things, but because he can't play he's gone away from the game and I'd be highly surprised if he came back again. Edit: Just to add, one extra quick slot bar and this wouldn't have been an issue, but with only two it is. I really don't see why people couldn't have had three bars with the cash option for three more when many classes have so many skills that possessing at least three is essential to game play.

Once again, Bioware has already stated that they are adding them. It was a definitive post. Until such time as they state they are not adding them we have definite proof that they are via the post that they themselves repeatedly link to in response to the question of SGRA's. How many more times are you going to ignore the fact that the statements made in the past are proof? Do we want clarification on if they are still reliable? Yes, but until we are told one way or the other, they are still considered definite.
