  1. tried to test but pressing the "K" key and going through the menus to access the disciplines screen just had a blank unuasble UI that seemed to be stuck on medicine operative but it was hard to tell since everything was unclickable. but my big concern is things i've seen people show on twitter with just gutting utility. i've already left one game (WoW) for just making classes cookie cutter and barebones and i'd be loathe to have to do it again. i can understand baking in passives into certain abilties (like acid blade into backstab, they used to be separate buttons) but having to choose your hard stun is just a terrible idea
  2. I /really/ hope they make this a feature. While it's not exactly everyone's cup of tea, it would be at least some kind of new pvp content. They could add a champion mob or something with a ton of HP that you could kill once a week for pvp comms or something. It would also give pvpers something else to do than just sit on the fleet waiting between pops. City defence could be a lot of fun too.
  3. Hello everyone, KotFE early access is right around the corner and I've been meaning to this post a bit earlier than now. I am a member of <Uncharted Space>'s progression group. Despite 4.0 not containing any new operations, I am excited for new gear tiers and experimenting with gear and stats etc... Though we have our normal progression group all figured out and settled for the most part, early access week is going to be a bit tricky for us. A lot of our members have either just come back from long breaks from the game or just weren't onboard for the lack of "new" content on the progression front. So only about half of us are going to be early accessers. The purpose of this thread is to gauge interest for groups who are either in the same situation as ours or to see how many people are going to running through the "highlighted" hard mode and group finder content for that week of early access. Now I know it's only 1 week but an extra couple of lock outs towards gear progression can be really fun
  4. I moved here from Jung Ma a couple of months ago and it was such a vast improvement. If you play pubs, queue times take maybe 5-10 minutes when you first queue but once you're in the rotation it normally takes no more than 3-4 minutes to get into a warzone. That being said, imps are pretty bad on this server and they stop queuing pretty after a few beatings and it's mostly pub vs pub all night which is why I say, 3-4 minute queue times IF you're pub. I only play pub but the few times I try to get on my operative I usually log off because it takes longer to get queue pops. Also, I just don't like empire. It's not the player base, it's just the faction. I prefer smuggling. Smuggling is cool. Now one thing to note: Since the expac has been looming closer and closer, the server has slowed down a bit since the summer. When we first transferred over from jung ma in the summer, ranked was instant popping from about 2 pm est to way into the morning past midnight. Now, it's not nearly as fast and the population isn't as large but I believe this is due to the fact that the end of the expansion just has nothing to offer people and not as many are logging in. I, myself, have played the game a bit less because there's not much to do outside of my scheduled raiding schedule with my guild and taking a break before I go hard again for the expac is probably a good thing. I'd recommend Ebon Hawk because I like the atmosphere and community, and while it's not as "hardcore" as say the shadowlands, it has very good players and things are popping and the population is healthy.
  5. lol over half of the guilds I know that transferred from Jung Ma were dedicated imperial guilds who vowed to up the imperial pvp game on this server and nearly all of them are pub guilds now. Good luck.
  6. As someone who played on one of the servers that got shut down way back when; despite BW's perceived "crappiness" of how they handle this game 99% of the time, they handled the shutting down Ven Zallow and transferring my characters very well. Not only did I take the name Nadja from someone on Jung ma (had the name since prelaunch despite being from a different server) but I got a pet and seamlessly moved to Jung Ma. I was given plenty of time to get my stuff together and prepare for the transfer and when I was ready I made the move. No big deal. There's no reason for people on Jung ma to feel any pressure to leave the server unless it's for their own personal reasons. If they're happy there, they should stay until BW gives them the notice the servers will merge or be shutdown etc... And if that does happen, I hope to see the people I know and miss, that stayed, over at the Ebon Hawk, because you are missed.
  7. Heya, I remember you! I heard just tonight from Iron, that a lot of them have left TEH just recently and are on harbinger now. Transfers are cheap so people have been hopping servers left and right. Iron however seems to still have characters on Jung ma. His Guardian's name is Apocalypse with a funny A in it. Good luck with your search.
  8. I'd be down for this but honestly, I doubt we'll get pops. I haven't done a single ranked game on jung ma this season. Currently I'm sitting at 200 solo games on TEH and it's extremely active here. It's just much better over there the JM ranked scene now so I just don't think you're going to get enough games for the tier 1 but I'm sure you'll win the games you do get. GL!
  9. Oh I tried to give her the benefit on the doubt and have a civil convo with her. I even took down my original post expressing my displeasure with how the event was run. However she was totally unreasonable and unwilling to take any bit of suggestion or criticism. And on top of that one of her guildies just got really hostile towards me for even having an opinion. So yes I've gotten salty because they seemed to be a hostile little clique who can't take any bit of Criticism. I tried really hard to let her know I wasn't attacking her or her guild but she refused to be reasonable. Also I took issue with her enforcing the rules when it want her friends or guild. She even lied about having any affiliation with valour despite her mentioning she was giving bonuses to them right here in this thread. So that's why I've posted about my experience with this guild and this person.
  10. Re-Edit: nevermind. Host is a Diva and despite trying to be civil it was thrown in my face. These guys are a little hostile gang that don't care for pvp or enforcing rules. I don't think I'll be attending another one of these. Very disrespectful people who have little interest in seeing out their tournaments to the end and keeping things in line.
  11. I'm accessing this forum from Canada. Is this Canada?
  12. B'usy Scoundrel. No guild. I'll be mailing credits in the morning
  13. I hope everything's okay and you will be missed. Try to stay in touch, I normally hop on the forums a couple of times a week so throw a PM if you're looking for people.
