  1. Please see the attached link: https://imgur.com/igsKLJF The drone was inside the sat & could not be shot down. I was however able to get a missile lock on it from under the sat. Please fix.

  3. Copypaste from the previous game week: I think it's more helpful to compare GSF to Unranked Warzone conquest points. Using this week as an example: Both GSF & Unranked have 3 conquest goals: [1] Completing the weekly [2] Winning a match [3] Participating in a match For GSF: [1] Daily repeatable for 9,760pts [2] Daily repeatable for 7,320pts [3] Infinitely repeatable for 1,464pts (simply involves seeing the end of a match) Unranked: [1] Single time 14,152pts [2] Daily repeatable 4,270pts [3] Infinitely repeatable 2,074pts (8 medals required) Assuming a player only does either to earn conquest points & achieves goals [2] and [3] at least once daily (7 days), and achieves goal [1] once in the weekly conquest cycle: The GSF player can earn 71,248pts whereas the Unranked player can earn 58,560pts From this, while true that GSF is less lucrative as a conquest farming source compared to all other activities, it is by no means lagging behind its counterpart. However boosting conquest points earned for all PvP modes, including Solo & Team Ranked would help the health of this game. The vast disparity between doing daily content by oneself vs group/team activities is huge. It discourages players from playing group content. More incentive to play group content would be desirable to help foster healthy and active communities in this game.
  4. A legacy friends list would be great -whereby every character in my legacy can view if a friend character is online.

  6. There are four indicators of being an ace: Hate mail Whisper harassment Queue dodgers Chat clout I haven't had any of the above yet. I'm still a long way to becoming an ace.
  7. That's the spirit! GSF is tough on new players. It's a different kind of mindset you have to get yourself into. The average GSF player sucks. Competent players (those that know what they're doing) are a huge step above. Players who are actually good are leagues above that. You have to love the grind of getting from terrible to amazing. It will involve a lot of persistence, determination, and innate love for flying around in a ship shooting things. Once you get good & you look back on your journey to improvement, you will absolutely appreciate it. The Devs have done a lot to make all the ships accessible short of just giving you all the ships & components outright. The only thing left for you to do is to put in the time. I was once trash too. It took me weeks before I landed my first shot & months before I got my first kill. Now when I don't get 20+ kills playing solo I dishonour my name. It's fine if you decide the grind is not for you. However the grind is not a flaw. It's a feature.
  8. It's GSF conquest week. We're literally getting tonnes of conquest points this week. Not getting gear drops is a bummer for the mat you could get from them. No one is against new players. People are against toxic players. It has been a long time since GSF conquest week. Winning a game gives 7000+ points whereas losing gives peanuts. Hopefully this will drive new players riding the conquest wave to try rather than simply optimise for conquest.
  9. Does subscribing from Steam mean that the game has to be reinstalled and launched through Steam?
  10. Stasiepedia is outdated. Update 5.5 made a lot of changes. Components were tweaked. Ships have different choices. Strikes are more powerful now. The meta has changed and as a result the viable builds have too. The prevalence of Proton Torpedoes, nerfs to evasion, Distortion Field, and Ion Railgun have also encouraged a different play style and mentality. Community members are updating Stasiepedia. Stay tuned.
  11. Here is my first entry as an example: Ion mine Mine are already very easy to avoid/ counter. Either fly away from them or use an EMP ability. Ion mine is a systems ability so a bomber can be locked out of using it. When a target does allow themselves to get hit by the ability Ion mines do not do enough. Other mines are able to remove a target's shields as sufficiently well as ion mine & do lasting hull damage. Ion mines' primary effect is also easily shrugged off with the use of a shield ability -with Quick Charged Shields it is just the press of an ability, with Distortion Field and Directional Shield it is merely a matter of flying defensively for a few short seconds. The bottom line is mines are already weak in the current meta. & the effects of ion mine in particular can be easily negated.
  12. Introduction It's been about 3 years since the major GSF changes. The last major change was greatly appreciated. It allowed many builds and ships to become viable -we now have to carefully pick the five ships we want on our bar. The meta is much more diverse because of it. Updates to the game-play feels due. The developers might not have plans for major GSF changes, but that should not stop us from discussing it. Let's talk about changes to GSF. This will be a 3 part discussion. Part 1 will focus on components that are obsolete. Part 2 will focus on the discussing solutions to help obsolete components become viable. Part 3 will involve coming to a community consensus from the previous two discussions. In this first part we will stick to discussing components that are tremendously underwhelming to pick considering the other options available. I encourage you to focus on components that definitely need love rather than components that could use some love. The format: Suggest a component you believe is utterly terrible. Gives your reasons why. Feel free to discuss/ dispute the components and rationale others have provided. However, please save suggestions for fixes/buffs for part 2 and discussions about overpowered components for a different thread.
  13. A bag of prototype or premium grade 11 mats is useless though. At least artefact mats would be nice.
  14. Mmm yeah perhaps now might be better with other much more lucrative means to farm conquest points. However as you say -you can just do one quick brain dead flashpoint to get most of your conquest done, then do however many matches of GSF as you desire. I would like to see more ship requisition and fleet commendations awarded for playing GSF games. Perhaps also a chance for legendary ember too like ranked matches
