  1. ive seen like 12 people i know more are elsewhere, but its far from packed, getting quests done quickly
  2. Most of the people waiting now will have to get legacy names with bad spellings The asdf Legacy
  3. Reality : 3.5 hours Server stability is not an issue They are just waiting for people to clear the starter areas so the zone wont lag We are waiting so people can level up with no lag
  4. Waves = Fakeout Queues we are just in a pc version of a queue. Id rather sit in a queue, cause then Id have a time frame to work with
  5. who cares about the term early access its quite obvious that if there was no early access and this was the 20th there would still be waves ( which are just a PC version of queues) its also obvious that most people preorder nowadays. there is no early access because most people buy the game to get early access Id like to see the numbers on how many people dont buy early access and wait for the 20th. The term early access is becoming antiquated fast. Ill repeat that one statement : Waves is just a PC term for queues, same thing, just different process.
  6. I had to inject some humor into the post, but the point remains One guy said there was like 79 people in the zone at one point. They are babying the servers too much, the price is a pissed off customer base. Gotta balance the risks here Mmo players are a flighty bunch , you only get a short time to make an impression then they are off to another game. I played closed beta, so I know what the content is like. They need all the good press they can get
  7. I bet anything they are waiting for people to clear the starter areas. Would be a horrible way to do lauch Esp with legacy names being unique to those who reach chapter 1 first
  8. By the hour ? careful ? They let like 10 people in the first wave and the second has been going for about an hour and a half. If they cant stabilize the servers in 3.5 hours with only a fraction of the population in, then they have bigger issues than they can handle. Telling you, they are making you wait so later they can put out the illusion of a flawless launch. They will say servers never got stressed at all. Easy to do when you only let 100 people per zone play at a time
  9. you said .... we sent out 2 waves, day 1 was heavy on preorders will get quicker later.. not really saying much.... back to counting likes on facebook eh ?
  10. your comment would be valid if names were not at a premium no one wants to play with a toon called asfghej Maybe you can understand this
  11. evidently that went over your head, its about planning, not time alloted maybe some better comprehension on your part
  12. not sympathetic did closed beta and put my codes in on the 22nd and still not in
  13. I have to plan work and a family around this. I dont mind the wave thing, but giving no info on how many and how fast you are inviting is complete bull. You will not garner much public support forcing us to wait at our pc's all day with zero info I can see by stephen reids twitter he is more interested in how many likes SWTOR got on facebook than providing useful information to people waiting
