So much for the whole wave thing having any point. So glad I now get to wait 40 mins to get on my server.

I have been through a lot of MMO releases. So far I have to say this one is pretty bad. I could almost understand waves of access if they had kept them going and allowed everyone in within the first 24 hours. Packing it up mid day is just ridiculous. Why did they bother doing stress tests in the first place? I think if they would have given each of us an actual early start date it may have been better. I know when I received the email telling me early start would be at 7am EST today I assumed that I would be able to login at that time. I know a few of my friends took the day off work because of that email. You can imagine how upset they were when they attempted to sign in and were giving the subscription error for the rest of the day. And stopping the waves at 1:00 was just a slap in the face to all of us who took the day off work because of their earlier email. I dont know about all of you but I am left with a bad taste in my mouth. I am half tempted to cancel my preorder. I guess I will just hope EA/bioware can work on their CS or they wont be maintaining subs.

For all of you who dont know how MMO releases work EARLY ACCESS=LAUNCH.

I have played in a lot of mmo early releases while some were buggy at least you could play. Never have I been in one where they limited release to a small fraction of people who purchases the game or one where they quit working half way through the normal work day.

"Bonus wave" what a joke. How about you do what every other MMO and every other IT worker does and work 24/7 until your done. Or maybe calculate how many servers you need based on your stress test weekends and them up BEFORE early start? This wave crap just makes it harder to play with your friends. I expected more from bioware.

I am so happy I got an email telling me I could logon at 7am est today. So i figured I would take the day off. I am so glad I wasted one of my paid days off to sit around looking at the patcher telling me I don't have an active sub. If you are going to restrict logins on the first day don't send me a emailing telling me I can login at 7am EST.
