  1. I agree with you completely. Sorcs/Sages and Sniper/gunslingers had really cheap AOE. Making it really easy for them to spam it nonstop almost. This will actually make them target now and do something except spam.
  2. I just don't buy that it is "required". I figure, if you wanna run monolith, you need to do the story it doesn't really take much time. As for Yavin, all the speeders on all planets are unlocked now, you go to TOS once and you have the Quick Travel point. It's not even a time issue, just pure unadulterated laziness. Oh I know that's what they're doing. I just think they should own up to their reasons.
  3. Perhaps I was a little too harsh in my original statement. Guild repairs is only one of the things you've listed here. I'm not doubting the cost by any means. What is wrong with people using quick travel? Summons are so frivolous and to save what, five minutes maximum? Maybe people should contribute if they want things upgraded. All I am saying is, there are way more efficient ways to make money than to wait for some fish to bite, and running them through for a title. Which strikes me as odd, since you could just use other methods to make money. Therefore, it seems more like a "look at us" plea for more recognition, notoriety, and a quick buck than it is for actual repair costs.
  4. I never contradicted the 16mil repair cost number. I shell out a ton in repair costs every week, so I agree with your numbers. I did however say they shouldn't try and pass it off as just for repair costs. There are so many other ways to make money in this game. A lot more efficient ways than waiting for people to go for the bait and running them through for a title.

  7. Didn't say it was new, I did say that it is the dumbest. Not only that but don't try and pass it off as repair bills lol. It's to stroke your own egos and try and make a bunch of creds. At least have the stones to be honest.
  8. Yeah, you're absolutely correct. They have a root, but it is completely useless most times in pvp and especially useless with root/slow/cc immunity. The only snare is on the knockback and/or blazing bolts, which melee classes have no problem dealing with.
  9. Although perhaps not written in the best way, OP has a good point. The immunity to CC, slows, and roots have gotten out of hand. As merc, when a melee gets close, it's a coinflip whether or not my knockback will do anything. If HO is down, I'm constantly getting rooted. The only root mercs have is melee root that breaks on damage, and only if you waste a utility point for it. The immunity needs to be toned down, it's almost impossible for melee not to be able to close the gap on ranged now.

  11. So what exactly did assassins give up to be given CC immunity? That is way more overpowered than the 8 second KO healing for more.
  12. This might be the dumbest thread I have ever read, and I once read a forum thread about how jedi should be able to fly like superman instead of using mounts.
  13. Don't worry, there will be plenty of people who will still play merc. Been toughing it out since the beginning, and will be fighting for improvement as long as I still play.
