Why l am I getting around 4 Shadow Syndicate plans for every one Emperor's Slot token? My current Shadow rep is champion. If there is any perk to this, I haven't found it yet.

I've tried everything with three different characters to get through the force field and can't do it. The maintenance droid never goes to yellow.
