  1. I started my Agent with the mindset of "pick what I would pick". Turns out that's mostly lightside anyways. But then chapter two comes around and they start using keywords on me. Trying to be spoiler free. But them doing so made me start choosing dark side choices because frack those dudes. Only SWToR.
  2. We all want more class stories for our characters. But voice acting is probably the biggest factor in terms of expense. So they wont. But what if they didn't have to use voice acting. Instead what if they did class stories but in the way they did alliance alerts where it's all KoToR style without hearing your characters voice. It works for FFXIV. I wonder how many players would be down with that. In the end, they wont make expansions with 8 fully voiced class stories. If they did, they would likely be tiny because EA would spank them for asking for budget that isn't going to the CM. If you, as a player, would be down with such a compromise, let Bioware know.
  3. It's a general sentiment. While venting frustration, I didn't plan on calling out names. To the poster above this reply, I don't intend on hashing it out with you either.
  4. "What we are calling personal loot" Hahahahaha, yeah after wow coined the term years ago.
  5. It feels like standard MMO expansion gearing changes. New Xpac drops and its time to grind for those new sets. Is this something the swtor community isn't aware of?
  6. Who make decisions for the game that have been historically unsuccessful in MMOs. When people give the feedback that it is an unwanted change and explain why that is still feedback. Not something to belittled by assigning the value that giver of said feedback believes the developers are boogieman. Thank you for proving my point.
  7. If you do decide to question them or in general post any criticism you will only find the handful of dedicated defenders dismissing any concern you have. You won't be heard and you will have your opinion vilified by said defenders. Morale of the story? Your feedback doesn't matter and the defenders on this forum will be sure to make sure you don't hurt their friend's, BW and EA, feelings.
  8. No you would be a BH in a few cutscenes during your storyline pre expansions. The bulk of your time spent on a character is tied to your class gameplay. If your recognized as a BH for 5% of the time on a fully maxed, end game activity, character but the rest of it your gameplay is Trooper how does that make you a BH outside of headcanon which already exists without CS. There are benefits to this system. But to go as far to say your getting to play a class any different than you do now in terms of class fantasy is a fallacy. But I'm sure my words fall on deaf ears to anyone that can't bere the thought of BW being criticized.
  9. To everyone saying that Combat Styles will enable you to play your class with different movesets/weapons, no it won't. See, the only thing CS will allow you to do is choose a different class for whatever story you pick. The idea that this enables you to play your BH with an assault cannon is ridiculous. It will allow you to play a Trooper while playing through the BH story. You've always been able to outfit your character to fit your own headcanon. This isn't something new. And as many have pointed out, it's not like they will change cutscenes to allow you to have a different weapon than the story already has programmed in. If anything 7.0 makes your story choice have less impact and less synergy with your class than before. If you choose Trooper CS and BH story you are a TROOPER not a BH.
  10. Since when were vibroblades force weapons? KoToR described them as vibrating at such rates that a non force wielder would be able to use it against a lightsaber for a short time.
  11. Even if you only got an achievement as a reward I WOULD LOVE the option to do class stories at a higher difficulty. If its optional then nobody has a reason to hate on the idea. Some people want a story like breeze. Some like challenge. Either way, the idea sounds fun.
  12. Like an Armor stand and weapon mounts? That would be super awesome. Go up to the armor stand and stamp one of our outfits onto it.
  13. I feel you on the collection part. But it seems to me there is a reason they aren't and won't expand the collection part. Also, having more things in the collection wouldn't change your dye situation any more than the Wardrobe idea. Would you really hate having more storage options just because of the dye portion? It would be nice if it could have more than on copy but I was trying to suggest something with drawbacks in an attempt to actually appeal to the devs.
  14. I had an idea to solve our limited storage in relation to the sheer amount of armor sets and weapons not housed in the collection. A Wardrobe Storage decoration. It would function like already implemented storage units except for a few key differences. 1. You could only store non-collection gear. 2. Only ONE copy of a specific item could be stored at any given time. 2. Just like with current storage you could buy tabs and rows. Except with this "Wardrobe" you can continue buying rows at increasing prices but eventually leading to a scroll down interface rather than being capped at 6 rows. 3. Unlike the collection you would have to physically go to the Wardrobe to retrieve any of your items. 4. Unlike the collection, it would not grant copies when retrieving an item. You put and item in, take it out temporarily then place it back into the wardrobe. Any additional thoughts or additions/subtraction are welcome. In the end most of us want to see a solution here without having to make guild bank alts. Something that is organic.
