After flying to base and hitting reset I continued the quest and the red door is no more. Please make sure you reset the quest or the door will be red. I checked. This is for Agents that chose to destroy the codex. By the way I could not continue the quest not because it was broke but because my friend was not logged in with me and he wants to see the ending as well.

I am frustrated myself but not as much as you guys. I am willing to cut them some slack. I don't know anything about coding but I have to imagine it's not easy. I am positive they do care about our problems and are just as frustrated when stuff like this happens. Obviously its not easy to fix or it would have been already.

I don't care what todays patch notes say. You follow the instructions. You destroy the Black Codex and kill the Sith. STILL BROKEN!

That option gives you lightside points. I will not take lightside, period.

My quest is currently bugged. I chose to destroy the Codex. I understand I can reset the quest and make a new pick but I refuse. Taking light side points for me is not an option. Blindly giving the Codex away was not an option for me either. If this quest is not fixed and remains iname for quite some time my only option is to quit.

I must be playing the game wrong compared to everyone else. I look up what my companion hates or likes and make my choices accordingly.
