  1. HK-51 [statement] "Previous encounters with meatbags had all but solidified my conclusion that droids would one day rule the galaxy. Having met your ship droid, I have decided that meatbags still have a fighting chance." [Query] "May I please kill the ship droid master? It's insistance on fragrancing your ship has become quite the nuisance." [statement] "Master. The ship's sabacc table is in need of spare parts. I recommend the ship droid's communication device as a suitable replacement."
  2. LOL I just choked on water. Maybe the beam should just be text that reads: Healer, plz killz meh ---------->
  3. I only tried one lifetime sub. It was for a game called Hellgate London, and not only did it die very quickly, they shut the servers down as well. This has no bearing on swtor's success of course, but I personally won't ever do a lifetime sub again.
  4. I unsubbed, party because of f2p...but mostly because I don't want to be here when the hundreds of thousands of tweens who couldn't do the sub-motel flood the servers
  5. Quote: Originally Posted by Emeda "I also wonder how they can say 40% of the people who cancelled were turned off by a monthly sub. I don't think it was the sub-model that turned people off (look at WoW), I think it was the fact that they purchased a retail game in beta stage quality. I've stuck around to see a few improvements...but I'm not going to be here when the influx of hundreds of thousands of tweens hit the servers because it goes f2p.
  6. I re-subbed after a few week hiatus. My two criteria to continue a sub were: 1) Be honest about development, do not bait & switch me 2) I need a playerbase to group with since I want to play an MMO Both have been met. I'm not sure if internal changes had anything to do with it but I see a step in the right direction now.
  7. So your complaint is that the fleet is behaving like a fleet?
  8. Too long...it has been too long since our weapons of war have tasted blood. Our sabers crave flesh, our blasters targets. Are you prepared for the hell that has been released in your ranks? Our fury will not be quenched. Sincerely yours, Mandalore the Indomitable, et al. *edit - Please feel free to sign on, other servers joining the cause.
  9. Coming soon: Guildy comes back from vacation. . .logs in at 7pm on a saturday <general>"hello? guys hello?" *crickets* <Enter> /who Server 1-50 <Enter> 1 person found QQ ?
  10. What is worse? 1. Looking bad now doing a server merge, but retaining say 700 - 800k paying subs 2. Pretending its okay now, having tons of ghost towns, and retaining 400k paying subs since more leave do to 'lack of content' the game forces on them Maybe I'm wrong, but revenue would seem to be in the best interest of investors. Not the technical server count.
  11. Spamming is also a superb way to get reported, about everytime
  12. 6 people on entire planets during prime time Less than 20 people in fleet during prime time (hour que for PvP) No PvP incentives yet (everything is grindable) Have to sit in fleet bored and *hope* to find a group (logged in but not playing) Monthly fee to 'not' play (can't experience content because nobody is on)
  13. Solo PvE is awesome 1-49. I would attempt to group, but most planets only have 6 people on them. I've done one 50 flashpoint, the healer wouldn't heal...everyone died, group quit. Typically less than 20 people in fleet at 7pm on Sat/Sun. I used to PvP like a bad habit. Now the queue is close to an hour. The only thing preventing me from playing & enjoying the game is....the game.
