  1. It is a bit humorous. Everyone posting "I SERVER BROKE AHH U FIX!" I'm mean, this type of poster definitely helps the community, and the community team to relay issues to the dev's. Lulz
  2. They are working on adding servers - as it was CLEARLY stated in the OP. I'm not attacking you, I'm just responding to the statement so that others can read it. Not that it will make a bit of difference, but yes - it needs to be corrected, and yes, they are working on adding more servers.
  3. Adjusting servers takes time. When I say three months was I saying that if 5 hour queues weren't better in three months.. then take action? No. I was talking about the overall performance, and queue times of servers. These extremely heavy queue times will be fixed long before then. Again, I refer you to the second sentence in my original post.
  4. All these Q's over Q's. The majority of posters in this thread fail at reading comprehension. GM post clearly stated that they were reviewing server populations, and once they had the information they needed, they would add more servers. Just because this doesn't suit your fancy, doesn't mean that it isn't the smartest thing to do. EVERYONE wants to play NOW. Level headed individuals understand that even though we would rather much be playing NOW, we would also like to have quality servers, and game content. Queues are very important, and BioWare understands this I'm sure. They understand the frustration that it causes, and don't want to lose business over it. Any company would understand this. However, queues aren't their only issue, and they are spending time, and money on correcting all issues. Some of these "other" issues would most likely include Memory leak, graphical issues, launcher issues (Which they implemented a fix for, today), and many other issues. All of these issues are important to Bioware, and the community team (as they clearly stated in the OP). To me, balancing the stability of the already live servers takes priority over adding more servers with major issues. I'd much rather see the games memory leak, and fps issues be handled then lowering my queue time - after all, what good does it do to get into a server that you can't stay connected to or fps drops radically causing characters to get stuck. Queues are an important issue, and correcting server issues takes time. You don't just pop in a server blade, hook power up to it, and say "Ok this one is live". Be a bit more patient. If server issues aren't improved in about 3 months, then come back and start complaining. Until then you just come off as an impatient prat. Seriously. And for those that are always responding to this issue with "WoW was never like this, they never have Queues. QQ" I suggest you do some research, because not only was WoW launch horrible, it was riddled with server crashes, unplayable lag, and constant downtime. In fact, some servers STILL have long Queue times. Illidan - Horde being a prime example of this. All in All, relax, and be patient. Do something constructive with your "downtime" instead. Maybe research your class, create game guides that will benefit the community, jump over to the community service forums and try to help people with REAL issues. Be constructive, and stay polite.
  5. The server issues will eventually be resolved, but I'm very happy to read a positive thread coming out of these forums. I too, agree that SW:TOR is a great game, and that the overall "feel" of it is a refreshing new experience that I have not felt in years of playing MMO's. Regardless of the current issues, I give this game an A+
  6. All these threads about Queues Costumer Service Launcher Issues Lag FPS Graphical Issues I myself, am starting to experience some of these issues. Unfortunately, I'll miss a day and a half, maybe two, of play time because of these issues. I'm patient though, and understand that these issues happen. I just try to do what I can to help resolve the current issues. I like staying productive. It all reminds me of the launch of WoW - and every other game for that matter. I can find some humorousness in all of this. It makes me stop, and reflect on all of my years of playing MMO's and all my past experiences - Good or Bad. I've been playing MMO's for 12+ years, and I can say.. that the current issues are to be expected. To the Community Team Try to ignore all the banter, and negativity. I believe that you guys are doing a good job, and I know that you are all working very hard at correcting the issues being presented. I for one, support you, and thank you for all the hard work, extra hours, and overall effort you put into this game and responding to the community. Thank you.
  7. Same here. My chat tabs have been missing since the 2nd day of early release (T-day + 1) It happened after getting "Server Error Code 2003"
  8. Just wait young padawon. Changes will come - not before the initial launch though, so have some patience. All we need is.. a little patience
  9. People are dense. You did NOT pay extra for anything. And if you did ..then your retailer ripped you off, and it's your own fault.
  10. Reroll, or wait until they increase the population limit on the servers. Server queues are a very common issue during the launch of a new game. I'm sorry you're experiencing long wait times though.. but really unless you man up and reroll ...there isn't anything else you can do about it.
  11. Make sure your firewall isn't blocking the game. Edit: A little more detail would be helpful.
  12. Yall are crayz. I changed the color of my crystal...
  13. Seeing as the OFFICIAL launch of the game hasn't happened yet.. and that there will be down time, and a patch on the 19th.. I would assume that maybe we'll see the full bonus of having CE? Yes? Methinks..
