  1. It was bad enough when items returned from crew skill lockboxes and planetary chests were made no longer able to be put up on the GTN with the new GTN patch. Now these items are no longer even vendable - they have zero value - and when you deconstruct them, you get nothing out of it - they are just destroyed. So I can destroy them or trade them to someone else - hopefully someone who can use them - but they retain zero value despite them remaining "bind to equip". Thus creating a burden on me to either find someone who can use these worthless items or just throw them away. This is stupid - you have created dozens of crew skill missions that still cost thousands of credits to run that return items that have no value - this needs to be fixed immediately. In addition to that, planetary treasure chests and armor items you pickup from killing mobs are essentially useless - since the armor you find has no value - even more useless than they previously were because the items in the treasure chests don't scale with level.
  2. And I sent in a trouble ticket on the selling green/blue/purple crate drops - which we've always sold/bought on the GTN - and the customer service guy told me that they've NEVER allowed you to sell UNBOUND items on the GTN. WHAT????
  3. Totally agree - just submitted my own post with a point by point listing of the stupid changes. And I hope that SoontirMorillo is wrong because it would totally undercut SWTOR's new "why have people dedicated to the game and improving your gameplay" mantra that they have been pushing since EA sold the game.
  4. 1) Why am I forced to drill down three layers simply to buy an item? It used to be right there and I'd click "buy". I don't give a crap if it was 18 pages, I'd sort for price or level or whatever and it would take me 15 seconds to find something. 2) Why am I forced to drill down three layers and then not know how many stacks constitute "500 items at 199,999 credits" - it could be one guy with a 500 stack or 500 people selling individual items. 3) Why did you take away the ability for sellers to undercut vendors who are selling large stacks at X AMOUNT by selling smaller stacks at a slightly higher amount? You've just deleted like half the GTN market when it comes to stackable items. I now have no financial benefit of buying low and selling at a higher amount. The amount of stackable items on the GTN is going to plummet because people won't bother to sell items at a lower and lower and lower amount. Right now for a "Vial of Gree Nanite Paste" there are 122 items at 100K credits. Why would anyone else list ANY of these companion gifts at any price other than LOWER when there are already 122 items at the lowest price. If you goal was to drive people away from the GTN, this single change will succeed in that. 4) Why can I no longer sell items that come from lockboxes? I have a whole bunch of green, blue, and purple items that came from lockboxes from slicing or treasure hunting or from crates out on planets that I can now no longer put on the GTN - I've tried multiple items multiple times. People buy these all the time for their leveling characters - HELL - "I" buy them all the time for my leveling characters. Now what am I supposed to do - go to the flipping fleet and buy the crap that the Level vendors sell? I haven't done that for the 11 yrs I've played this game. 5) You shifted the place I get items from GTN buys into the GTN away from the mailboxes - which no one needed - but I now have to claim them individually. Why in the heck would you move it from the mailbox, where I can click two buttons and claim all mail attachments, to the GTN where I need to do every single one separately. This is beyond stupid. Why in the world would someone PAY for 20 items and only claim a portion of those. 99x out of 100 you want to claim everything. Why are you making the GTN harder to use????? 6) Why when I cancel a sale does this listing still count against my total listing cap - WHEN ITS NOT EVEN ON THE GTN ANYMORE? I have to go in - claim each item separately because you screwed up the claiming process - before they come off my GTN listing cap. That is asinine. 7) Why can I no longer leave the search box empty and search through every single item in a specific category like Companion Gifts? Now I have to open up a secondary category to be able to do a blank search string so if I am just looking for cheap companion gifts, I have to look through 10 categories one by one instead of search through all subcategories at the same time sorted by price like I've always been able to do. This triples the amount of time it takes to do non-specific searches on the GTN. 8 - Why when I'm buying a number of items of the same items on the GTN after drilling down two layers, finding the price I want, planning on buying all items less than a certain price, does the GTN default back to my search listing rather than stay on the page with that item? So I want to buy all the Slicing Level 3 missions less than 25K. There are three of them. So instead of being able to buy all three items one after another, the GTN defaults back to the search string I used and I have to click on the Slicing Level 3 Mission item 3x to buy the three items. In the previous GTN I could do a search string and buy three items boom boom boom on one page. Again you've screwed up something and made it monumentally harder and time consuming than it previously was. 9) Why when there are three items at a certain price can I not change the # of items purchase to "3" and buy all three at once. Been trying it on multiple searches on multiple items and I can't do it on any item. It shouldn't matter if it's three different sellers - this is why you set up this idiotic new GTN right? I should be able to buy multiple items from multiple people at a certain price? Well it doesn't work that way. 10) (LATE EDIT) Now you get a mail message telling you something sold, but you money is in the actual GTN. Idiotic. Just give us the money in the mail message like normal. So all my characters have unlocked the mailbox and now you guys have essentially phased out it's usefulness. So are you going to give me back all the credits that I spent on this unlock???? Everything you have done to the GTN has made it worse. Not one single change is helpful to me. I don't care what new items have just been listed. I don't care what items are hot on the GTN. I want to buy and sell on the GTN with as little hassle and time as possible and you people have torpedoed that. Why in the world would you change something that wasn't broken?????? -- Starr
  5. A suggestion would be to get rid of vote kicking if either team is up by 20 kills in a deathmatch. At that point, one team or the other just wants to get the match over with. Vote kicking someone who is on the team getting hammered and doesn't feel like getting killed ONE MORE TIME is just adding insult to injury. You were already going to get a big loss and now you are in the penalty box for 15 min???
  6. Vote Kicking needs to be amended such that if you are actively trying to cap or flying around a space station that isn't yours in GSF that you get credit for participating. I was single-handedly keeping the other team from capping a node. I kept missing shooting them because most of them were behind me trying to kill me and because I didn't die I get vote kicked?!?!?!!?! That is completely absurd! I was glued to the space station the whole time while my team was amassing a 400-12 lead and the warning comes up that I have 5 sec to "start participating" so I can either 1) kill myself or 2) turn around and try desperately to shoot someone quick and again most likely die. How are either of these options helping the team or the end result that SWTOR is going for to weed out the scrubs who Q and then sit alone in space doing squat? It should automatically be "participating" or "attacking an enemy" if you are within capping distance of a node - whether its yours or not. The fact that I lived so long to get to the point where you give me the 5 second warning is a testament to my piloting skills and NOT to your arbitrary definition of "contributing". I appreciate trying to get rid of people who Q and do nothing, but don't penalize the people who are contributing to wins.
  7. oh ok - that's not what the various event guides say, but since I can't find it that makes sense. Thanks for the reply!
  8. Hi - I have been trying for 2 weeks and haven't been able to find the Pirate Rotgut on Dantooine following the Pirate Incursion event. I have a good idea of where to look (by the Power Station, -250/700) and I found all the other off-event vegetables/fruit over a 2-day period, but the rotgut is nowhere to be found. So I was wondering if it was A) bugged, B) not available off-event even though all the guides say that it is, or C) has such a long respawn timer that finding it is just blind luck. Thanks - Starr
  9. I've played PvP since Makeb/F2P came to SWTOR so I'm not some rando complaining about one match. Is there anyway we can fix the randomness of the PvP games? I did 90 min of PvP with guildees last night solo Qing and half of the rounds were Hypergate. The other 50% were the three Huttballs and one Voidstar. This is not the first time that this has happened - I Q for PvP and there is a better than 50% chance that I'll either get Huttball or Hypergate. I used to love Hypergate - no more - way too many times playing it. I think I've played three Civil War games in the past month and ONE Novare Coast. The same goes for arenas - I don't remember the last time I played a classic arena - its almost always the Tatooine or Rishi one. I'm not saying do all Novare Coast (although I would love it). I'm just saying put them all on random and have at it. Its not random to get all Hypergate and Huttball match after match after match.
  10. Well that explains why I can't get in - thanks!
  11. I have been on this game since right after the level cap went to 55 (whenever that was) and I've been doing the daily and weekly PvP since that date - on every character no matter the level and no matter if I was subbed or not (I've gone back and forth). Now that I've subbed again and you've raised the cap to 75 - NOW you restrict the missions to Level 75 ???? Why? You can still get the Starfighter dailies and weeklies - why in the world are you limiting PVP? So it was bad enough to get matches going before and NOW you are limiting the number of people who will be interested. Why in the world would players do PVP when there is no incentive before Level 75? And how are they going to learn? So now we have all kinds of fools jumping into PvP who have no idea what they are doing - how does this improve the game? You have made some odd changes to this game over the past 3-4 yrs, but this one really makes me scratch my head. It isn't even making you money so what's the point? You've just killed the feeder for ranked PvP too - now even less folks will do it. Stupid....:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Imperial OP

The server I play on, the Republic players as a whole RARELY fight at the nodes/doors, guard nodes that they take, or focus down enemies. I play Voidstar, and I'm the ONLY one running at the door - everyone else is gladiating in mid-field. Same goes for Civil War and Novare Coast - no one fights at the nodes then they get pissed when the one defender gets burned down by 3-4 imos quicker than he call for help. Don't even get me started on Huttball - kind of hard to pass when everyone is off dueling on the sides like fools... My only 55 is a tank right now and I always latch onto a healer and guard that person for the whole match - I've seen dozens of tanks guard NO ONE. So as several threads have pointed out, it just may be the better PvPers are simply on the imp side on my server, but it sure is frustrating having to play 10 matches to fill the weekly or 3-4 for the daily time after time. -- Starr
  13. Can someone help me out and post a link to a site that they KNOW has the correct matrix cube stats? I've looked at probably half a dozen sites and other than the Lvl 15 combos, the sites are all over the map as far as stats. Really appreciate it. -- Ctwink
