  1. You can click and hold the mouse buttons (left and right, one button at a time) and move the mouse to turn your character to get the desired light/shade on their face and body change the camera position in 3D space including the vertical position of the camera wrt the character You can zoom using the mouse wheel to change the camera distance to the character Press Alt-Z to hide the user interface and take a screenshot; edit/crop in Paint, Paint.net or other image editing program. Here's a nice article on Taking Screenshots with a lot of tips, example screenshots, and so on.
  2. The OP didn't ask about ping and so I didn't talk about it or about server physical location. You're right about both of those things, as far as I know. The SS player population is more from US Central to US Pacific time zones where as the Star Forge server has more of the US Eastern time zone players.
  3. Xeno, Nightmare Pilgrim, Colossal Monolith, etc. are not like other world bosses. The chances of PUGs succeeding are much lower than the Nar Shaddaa WB R4-GL for example. Many people tackle them with guild groups coordinating through Discord voice channels. The subscriber vs F2P part of the OP is a distraction. The game needs to make money after all.
  4. Satele Shan is the west coast server; larger percentage of players play in "prime time" for west coast. Star Forge is the east coast server. So, the player population you see depends on when you play. That has an impact on how often group finder queues "pop." Star Forge is THE server for Role Playing even if there are RP guilds on SS.
  5. Agree. Everything was better before 7.0 except for the Combat Style and Loadouts enhancements.
  6. This looks like another thread started by somebody looking to highlight to BW that Conquest is too easy and should be nerfed even further (third or fourth time in the past year). Answer to OP: Do what you plan to do on your characters; story if they've not finished it, FPs that they didn't run, Eternal Championship, Star Fortresses (my favorite), Planetary Bonus Series, Event missions (Relics of the Gree is on now), even Galactic Seasons missions. Conquest will happen by itself in an hour to an hour and a half per character without you even noticing it. I will echo above comment about 150% Stronghold bonus and add that being in a guild that always invades a planet will help with an additional 15% bonus.
  7. A few guilds do this CQ contribution calculation on a per-legacy basis while most go by per-character basis. Doing it on a per-legacy basis requires some guild officer to sit down to type out and add numbers manually for each legacy in the guild as the guild management tools are primitive. This is a labor-intensive that cannot be automated. So guild generally choose per-character basis. There have many good suggestions over the years on QoL improvements for guild creation and management. Option to view guild conquest leaderboard by legacy instead of by character was previously suggested as well.
  8. As for the dimmed out debuffs - is that player too far away from you?
  9. If you log into the server 4 times a week, do the daily 25K Conquest objective, do one 12-point weekly and two 8-point weeklies, you'll easily gain the remaining levels before the end date.
  10. What is the full folder path of where you installed the game? It is possible the game is not able to create or update files somewhere in that folder structure.
  11. Log into a Republic character. Go to Alderaan using the "Activities" menu (and choosing Alderaan Heroics). Quick Travel to different points ("bases") to scout which one you "like" to attack as an Imperial. Log into an Imperial character, form a group, and go wipe out that base.
  12. I'm curious as to what average #s you are seeing for the three healing Disciplines. That's literally true: I'm just curious. Not trying to make a point or anything.
  13. Fair enough, interesting point of view.
  14. I didn't open this thread and the "Changes to rewards for PvP, GSF, and Operations" thread the last few days as I didn't think I was ready to read more of this stuff; just burnt out. So, just getting back to it today. The above is EXACTLY what I got from that post as well. Can't say I'm surprised, it's what I expect now from Bioware. Still, disappointing. I don't understand the praise in the other posts for writing one lousy - both in content and style - post. It is about the least, the very least, a game developer can do and some people are ecstatic about it.
  15. 110% Accuracy 1.4s GCD Rest into Critical It is almost being forced by developers.
