  1. I opened a ticket in-game today regarding an issue with the Romance of Lana. The ticket # was 38134947. I made a character within the last month on the Empire side, named Zippityzip. From the very beginning I decided the character would marry Lana, and so I went through every Story Mission and every Story FP required, all the way up to the completion of the Ossus story line. I did not attempt to romance any other companion, beyond every Flirt option that came up for Lana as I played through all the story content. I was solely focused on the goal of marrying Lana. Nothing else really mattered until that goal was achieved. But even though I chose every Flirt option I was presented with, regarding Flirting with Lana, never did the option to marry her come up. I opened a ticket to resolve the issue, prior to beginning the Onslaught story line. The answer I was given by in-game support, referred to patch 5.9.2 regarding a mission that was given to characters romancing Lana prior to that patch. But this character was made within the last month, so of course that mission is not made available to fix the issue. I looked up this issue here in the forums, and it was a reported bug, several years back. How is it that this bug still exists and how do I get it fixed on a current character? I did everything correctly, not skipping any Story content at all and ensuring I always chose the Flirt option for Lana. So why is it that I never received an option to marry her? I've never tried to marry Lana before, so I was highly looking forward to experiencing that content. The MAIN reason I avoided ALL other romance options on all the various companions, was so that my character could romance and marry Lana only. According to the GM who answered my in-game ticket, there is nothing they could do to fix the issue for me. How is it, a years old bug, still persists that keeps this content from ever being experienced? Even by subscribing customers. I did everything right, and yet now I feel as though I'm being punished because of a bug that apparently can't be rectified by in-game support. Zip
  2. I joined the Empire side last night... Thank you for your reply... I have noticed a trend though, most folks don't chat much (if at all) on Empire side (in Guild chat)... Been trying to get people to chat all morning today, and no one ever says a thing... So far no one has gotten into your Discord at all either, as far as voice coms... But that is to be expected with it being a weekday daytime... I hope to see more activity as time goes on... Is the Republic side much more active then your Empire side? Thanks, Zip
  3. Which tacticals did you go with for PvE? Zip
  4. Some quick questions: Do you have an Active voice coms? And I don't mean just when your doing group content or events, but do you have people in voice coms actively regardless of activities going on? Are the members mature? And I don't mean just being adult aged, but are they friendly, not constantly making lude or crude jokes, don't swear like drunken sailors, don't behave like kids, don't act like lonely teenagers in the presence of female players, no drama, so on and so forth... Thanks, Zip
  5. Returning player... Do you have an active voice comms for your Fleet? If yes, is it active just for special grouping nights, or are there actual people using it during general game play? I'm not big on typing while playing, so I prefer voice chat over text chat... Thanks, Zip
  6. I've scoured the internet for any PvE Guides and/or Builds with regard to Sniper - Engineering for 6.x and found pretty much nothing... There are plenty of 5.x guides and vids and so on, but nothing up to date with the current or semi-current changes to the game... I understand that Virulence is high up on the parsing, but that can't mean no one is playing Engineering at or near the current end-game content, who might have some good insight on it... I know some folks will just respond with "play some other sniper build", but I've already seen plenty of peeps hyping Virulence and a few vids promoting Marksman... So those sorts of responses would just be counter-productive... I would like to see something on Engineering besides comparisons with the other builds or folks pointing away from Engineering... Is there a guide out there somewhere or vid I just haven't run into yet, that goes over things like Rotations, Tacticals, suggested Gear sets, Utilities, and so forth that is more up to date then 5.x stuff? It can't be so terrible of a spec to use in PvE content that no one is playing it successfully at all? Thanks, Zip
  7. I appreciate the invite... The reason I have that preference is because I'm very bad at paying attention to text chat windows while out adventuring... And since I play MMORPG's for the social interaction between like minded players, it's best done through VOIP... The problem with guilds that only have an active VOIP during raiding, is that you can't get to know folks and talk with them, while they are raiding... That would be rude and interrupt their communications during the raid... And if they all jump ship from voice once the raid is done, then again, the socialization and getting to know one another is out the door... It's usually why I stick to multi-gaming guilds, but alas the one I'm in hasn't been playing SWTOR in well over a year... If I can't properly communicate with the folks I'm playing with, then there is no point in playing an MMORPG, and I might as well stick to single player games, lol... I'm not just interested in socialization purely, but it's a nicety getting to know your fellow gamers, talking about any ole thing, and so forth... Thanks again for the invite, and I'll seek you all out if push comes to shove... Take care and have fun... Zip
  8. Howdy all... I've recently returned to playing SWTOR after about a year+ break... I've been playing SWTOR off and on since it went live... I'm currently playing on the Star Forge server on some new Imperial toons... But I'm not stuck on any one faction at the moment... The multi-gaming guild I typically play with no longer has an active presence in SWTOR, so I'm seeking a community of mature adult players who are well established, drama free, and friendly... I'm not looking for a raiding focused guild, although raiding can be an activity the guild participates in... I'm an altaholic, so I like playing various characters... I have older characters, but I usually come back to games and start with new characters to get back into the swing of things... I would prefer a guild that is open to new players, returning players, and so on... PvE is my preferred play style, as I don't participate in PvP rarely at all, regardless of MMORPG... I'm not adverse to light RP, but that really isn't what I'm interested in... I'm more interested in friendly fellow players to chat with while playing, and perhaps group up with for normal mission play, and normal group content... My play hours vary, but I also have far more free time then I should for the moment... So I'm on all through out the day and possibly into the evening, all through out the week... I also prefer that the guild use an active VOIP like Team Speak or Mumble and so on (as I'm not big on communicating via in-game text chat while out doing missions and what not)... I'm not against the use of Discord, but it's not my preferred VOIP... I'm not adverse to adult chatter, but I'm not interested in constant immature toilet talk... But if you're VOIP is hardly being used, outside of raid nights, then we're probably not the right fit for one another... I'm an older gamer, and I've been playing MMORPG's since the release of City of Heroes... I've been a PC gamer since the C-64 first came out in the early 80's... I've been a Star Wars fan since it first came out back in the late 70's... I look forward to hearing from you here or in-game... Thanks, Zip
  9. My only concern with PvP balancing is that changes made to balance PvP content should not adversely effect PvE game play... I've seen too many times where some MMO's in an attempt to create a more balanced PvP experience end up causing some harm to the PvE experience at the same time... The best approach i've seen is how City of Heroes handles PvP alterations so that powers and so forth react different in PvP situations compared to PvE situations, therefore changes made to PvP do not adversely effect PvE gameplay... Also, I have yet to see any situation where endgame groups have been voicing a requirement for specific crafting professions... So I'm hopeful that in the process of balancing out these sorts of issues, crafting doesn't get nerfed to a point of being unbeneficial to even craft at all... Most crafting is already a huge money sink, so you need to balance the cost to benfit ratio as well... Zip
