  1. lol wasn't the big update supposed to come out 1 month from release...its been 2....after being delayed. It will be closer to 3 at this rate or longer.
  2. lol A huge write up that says simply...our system are broken because we have had to rework it numerous times to try and make up for the lack of content and reward players playing old content with new rewards while still providing a challenge. ROFL It is not about retention, they would rather attract new players every year. Except for maybe the PVP players, cause they just keep playing each other and not the content. GSF, PVP is cheap. Galactic Seasons is just another carrot to recycle old stuff and push more players to try PVP. Don't be fooled. As a story based MMO this game has been on life support for years.
  3. Notification of the patch is longer than the patch notes. At this point who is actually surprised.
  4. So what still works? I'm sure that list would be shorter.
  5. lol skill required to work around a poorly designed and buggy fight. Sorry but expecting anyone to work around the mess because a company can't get their "big fight" to work right is pathetic. Average joe isn't going to google how to work around this. And standing against a pillar isn't always going to work I had a fight down to 10% and got pulled and reset, that's not fun. Took be 17ish tries day one to get through it. Besides the fact it is horribly boring.
  6. Level 11 I think...haven't played much since 7.0...too buggy...conquest is boring. New content is a slog and buggy...just can't get motivated to play.
  7. SWTOR developers have always chosen dumbly when it comes to fixing issues. WB would have been an easy fix. Make WB a class that scales at a virtual level..say 100, then you scale each character up artificially, and scale damage done to your level etc. Lots of games use intelligent scaling. Heroics could have also used scaling, same as Flashpoints. And the rest could have been left alone. Content should be designed at a level, character scaled done and maybe given a boost for outleveling the content and playing "ow level FBs"
  8. No the biggest mistake was not hard capping credits. If they had limited how much you can have on an account / toon. Then credit sinks become more affective. People push back on limiting, because they are usually the ones amassing billions.
  9. They realized they could generate a good revenue stream with CM without investing in the game heavily. So that's what they did. The game suffered for it. Crafting got sacrificed first.
  10. Its like everything else the do. The want to force game play (time sink) to make up for the limited amount of content they add. They don't want content skipped. You think all the maps with small tight areas are a mistake? Forced planet wide scaling was the same nonsense. Instead of just making Heroic Areas Scalable, you now have to slog your way around all the time. The had 10 years to improve the engine/maps/content with new systems. They could have added procedurally generated maps, in instanced areas and other systems to give reasons to play and reduce development time. Instead they keep trying to force engagement in old content because all they care about is CM sales because that is the easiest money. Thats why the 2nd class system. So people will play other character classes using the play styles they already like. Don't Smuggler but want to play the story bam!... more recycled content. And decent developer with the $$ and time BIOWARE has had would have made massive improvements over the years and created systems to keep a large player base pay subs instead of taking the lazy route of CM
  11. Nice thought but you are likely wasting your breath. They have had plenty of chances and opportunity to respond over the years for various issues that have arisen and remained silent. They have the reputation of going silent and been called out for it so many times. Most people have given up expecting better from them. They barely interact with people at the best of times. We have all seen them not respond for weeks at a time. A reputable company doesn't do this. BIOWARE stopped being that a long time ago. Most have accepted that by now. So shame on us for bothering to even complain any more. Guess we just keep hoping things will change. The only thing they care about is $$. So cancel. Stop making purchases. They don't care how much people complain here. In fact its better for them if people do. They can ignore it here. Only time they care is when it hits main stream and hurts there stock and $$...then you will get a heartfelt DEV saying we hear you. Myself I quit this game for almost a year waiting to see what would happen with 7.0, paid my money...well you know what they say about doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. Lets both hope I am wrong.
  12. "where there was opportunity to increase engagement" Well if that wasn't clear as day lol. Well at least everyone knows they are not going to change anything until at least Season 2. So PVP and GSF for all those who are still grinding. No acknowledgement of difficulty getting OPS groups or people misbehaving in PVP, or spawn rates changes. No adjustments to credits for Premium players, and no date when next update that will fix companions purchased from event vendor. But at least someone finally posted something. The only thing good is they will be improving vendor rewards to a more predictable pattern.
  13. Don't be surprised, people like to point out that you are playing wrong, or that your dislike of something is misguided. At least until something in the game affects something they like...then it's a whole different ball game. The Ops queue thing is very broken. So if they can't fix it, they need to allow for a better alternative. "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference." If you feel the system is unfair, you should speak up. Sometimes it doesn't make a difference, but its better to try and fail then remain silent, and have nothing ever change.
