I've been playing on and off since shortly after launch. I have long since completed all 8 of the class stories and unlocked light and dark 5. I understand that my characters who have finished chapter 3 of the class story will be able to pick their second combat style immediately and all new characters that I create after 7.0 launches can pick theirs immediately. I also have characters that I have created over the years to do different play throughs, like finally playing a dark side jedi, that have not yet finished chapter 3. When will those characters be able to pick their second combat style?

After the latest live stream, one of my guildies is worried about starting KOFE with unfinished class story lines. What I'm trying to get confirmation on is whether each characters starts KOFE individually and therefore does not affect unfinished class stories on other characters.

Actually, you can complete Making The Connection on Republic side without doing all of the different missions. I was starting from scratch on the Republic side, so I followed the guide on Dulfy's site. I completed Making The Connection but never had to run the Stage 2 Heroic 4 Deception Play. I'm not sure about Empire side since I had run the staged weekly several times before this while grinding Makeb reputation. I ended up doing all the missions I hadn't done Empire side anyway.

Do we know if it is necessary to get all 3 achievements on each side to get the decoration or is it just Well Connected/Making the Connection that is necessary?
