  1. Or you know, research possible hardware bottlenecks so you know where the issue actually is... A great CPU and GPU with a mobo chipset that sucks can really affect gameplay...
  2. My laptop ran Crysis 2(and Skyrim, RAGE, etc) and runs ToR just fine...
  3. The last big raleases from Bioware havent been custom engine... Isn't the Mass Effect series Unreal? As is Dragon Age?
  4. Weird... Maybe adjust the settings to a point where it does? I turned off bloom and high shadows in favour of AA. I havent seen any issues with the engine tho? More issues with balance and such, which isn't engine based...
  5. Wait, whats wrong with the engine?!
  6. The Force Unleashed covered the (canon)founding of the rebellion, etc.
  7. Take a look at a Colicoid: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Colicoid And then look at a Droideka: http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20091201145830/starwars/images/thumb/f/f0/Q-series_droidekas.jpg/692px-Q-series_droidekas.jpg Notice the similarities? I know many have probably noticed this before, but I thought it was cool.
  8. Yeah, it is brighter... as though its closer to the flash or something...
  9. It is a joke/meme... My wife says (on the internet) "You aren't a woman, everyone knows there are no women on the internet."
  10. Great to see it being live streamed too!
  11. Im not saying get rid of the existing ones, just to use the full musical palette that Williams has created over the years. A lot of the Ep 4 music is pretty generic because it was first (It only really established a few motifs). Would be cool to have an alternate soundtrack that tied it all together better. Personally, I find the musical contrasts between the OT and PT among the most disorienting. The PT music is generally better, fuller and more musically interesting (as Williams had matured as a composer/musician).
  12. One can fault the prequels for many things, but the music is not one of them. Anyone ever thought about John Williams going back to the OT and utilizing some of the newer themes? Some of Anakin/Obi's battle on Mustafar music being echoed in their final death star showdown? Some of Across The Stars for Vaders Redemption? Anyone else have a PT theme theyd like in a OT scene?
  13. Well said. I saw Ep 1 in 3D this weekend (had a free pass). I actually had some nostalgia moments, and really enjoyed visiting the SW motion picture universe again . There were a lot of children in the audience seeing it for the first time in the theatre, and they liked it a lot.
  14. I think we can all agree that the less George Lucas has to do with a Star Wars franchise, the better it is. (ex: Clone Wars TV show, KOTORs, et al). I do LOVE the Prequels production design tho. Naboo Fighters are still my all time favs.
  15. Original Trilogy has nostalgia, tha'ts about it. Other than that, Lucas continued where he left off in 3-6, but the audience had grown up/changed expectations.
