  1. Because one is dot spec and other one is burst spec. Thats the reason arsenal is on dead bottom now. Dot class should do more damage on single target as sustained spec vs burst spec.
  2. How does it need a boost? Its currently top ranged spec in damage on single target, pretty much top5 overall, while on their metrics ranged burst should be below ranged dot specs and melee burst specs. Not even mentioning it does more damage than some melee dot specs. Yeah i know its doing more on "dummy" but still. It doesnt need a boost, its need a nerf, only question is how much. Madness, engineering, virulence and io should do more damage than lightning, thats why its going to be nerfed. Overperforming (meta) specs - is a different problem. They should be "balanced" after this patch.
  3. Those changes are too small to affect anything. Buffs for mercenary (both specs) are not enough to make the real difference.
  4. PVE perspective IO Does the current combat rotation make this experience feel like you are playing a Mercenary? Why or why not? Since thermal sensor override was merged with vent heat mercenary need jet boost give 2 stacks of supercharge (passive or mod), it was very heat positive (getting stacks faster and lowering heat after poping supercharged gas) and even made like part of rotation which is currently missing. Now without it and tso you its became so easy to overheat fast since "good" vent heat with additional 15 is now part of choice. Incendiary Ignition and Volatile Cinders mods for single target potential - both feels quite underwhelming. First one dont do significant damage buff to overall picture and last one is not even part of partical io rotations. Very questionable to pick them instead of aoe mod. Do all your abilities feel like they’re working together? Sticky Dart choice is pointless since it doesnt even spread dots - literally 0 reasons to pick it. U can replace it with 2 stacks on jet boost. Removing passive 30% AOE defence is also might be quite painful with mechanics of heavy aoe damage. Mercenary dont have any compensation or situational AOE dr abilities like jugg or other class. It will just melt under damage if aoe mechanics happen consistently and u cant reduce damage other than Energy Shield. More than half of nim fights hard require it. So far there is nothing. Put it as choice on same line with reflect ability(since u cant use reflect aoe damage and its gonna be good choice - reflect or 30% aoe dr and wont make anyone unhappy. Not having Apex Predator Set bonus as Legendary making heat managment harder with merging thermal sensor override and vent heat. It looks like it lacking some attention. Thermonuclear Fusion mod lacking some damage. You are not often can spread fusion to many targets in most fights and having this mode with only (1/4 damage) for 1 or 2 fights per game when u can spread it to EIGHT targets looks pointless. Usually its like 2 or 3 targets if u LUCKY and u dealing 1/4 of heatseeker missile damage to them. Tiny. Make it hit less targets but do more damage (even 1/2 is fine)
  5. Same story here. Since last 3 days its randomly lag spiking up to 21k ms. My game experience suffering from that
  6. Yes, i know about those and about parsely not being reseted for commando. Its good thing to post here so ppl can realize that their class might be not under/overperforming until all class changes reveal. Atm io is parsing average somewhere near lightning after change on pts and its not even bounty hunters changes revealed.
  7. Asking to buff madness and lightning isnt good idea atm cuz they didnt even reveal Bounty Hunters changes - and u want sorc dps to pair with something that isnt even exist atm. Also if u considering checking parsely and dummy parsing dont look on commando assault dps - look on mercenary io dps since commando assault parses are affected by bug with 100% crit uptime on mag during 20 seconds after using supercharge. And only after that u come and post about buffs and nerfs
  8. Bad decision, scaling was fine. Now u want to buff everything instead of tuning some particular fights. Even separating no edge and this buff doesnt feel so bad, over tuning dps again is not good idea, that was a point why it was removed. Short feedback - its not needed buff and its too much
  9. I like that scale. It is how nim is supposed to be, not walk in Park, how it was before. Appreciate again for good nim experience

  11. Mercenary new ability 2 charges rocket out is garbage. Its even sounds like that cuz for "New" ability mercenary get 2 charges of "old" one. For example u could give mercenary something offensive dmg increase like power yield but without defensive effect. If u want specific - you can give 2 charges of rocket out in some tactical - it will be great and we can play How We Want, but not with new ability - which is supposed to be something …. "new"
  12. Agree. This is a meme. A guy that killed boss 9 months after release using multiple kill videos and strategies blaming ppl for not releasing guide. Next time no kill video for you Stop bumping this thread (i didnt)
