  1. I just saw on the blog that if you're level 45 you can partake in this event and the quests. And that you'll get a bolster to level 50 like in pvp..... Is this something new? I just got an alt to 45 so that means double the quests ;-)....
  2. My question is this. Is BW going to factor into the repair equation, the times when one of the many many known and reported bugs kill us and cause our repair bills to increase? I've lost count of how many times I've died because of a bug that I had no control over. It figures they'd fix a bug that results in a negative effect on the playerbase while ignoring the more complex bugs that should be concentrated on. I remember the charge bug that was in Esselece where as a guardian tank I'd charge the robot boss on the platform and clip through the floor into the pit below. I tested it after each patch and reported on it each time it was still there until I finally gave up. Maybe they fixed it, maybe they didn't. I dunno, because I gave up on it. But BioWare seems to kick the can on these issues. By jimmy though they'll jump on fixing something that will cause another money-sink in the game. Call me a naysayer but this just stinks of another way to push people to use the cartel market. Too many people were blowing their credits on the cartel market items in the GTN and BW implemented something to take out that problem...... End result will be in trying to nickle and dime the playerbase there will be less of a playerbase to pay......
  3. Also does all the gear in your inventory take damage when you die like in WoW? Or is it just what you're wearing? And does the gear on your companions get damaged when you die or during normal combat? I can see some ripple effect regarding this happening with people needing on items more in FPs that they may not otherwise need on. Either so they can replace their own damaged gear or just sell it outright to recoup their losses.
  4. So I log in and notice that the repair bills are extremely steep in comparison to the way they are. BW claims they have fixed a bug to adjust the costs of gear both for when selling and repairing. Here's an idea BW. Until you can get your crap straightened out with other legitimate bugs that end up killing us and cause our repair bills to go up you give us say a % discount off the repair costs. That way the bug will be fixed for selling the gear like you "intended" but you don't drive your playerbase away. A playerbase that you've been claiming that you want to remain involved and to play so that you can keep running your MMO. Just a thought.
  5. Forgive me but are you a dev? Where was this stated?
  6. ??? Then why is the timeline up and showing those items at all? What's the purpose of leaving the other entries out there with a message "this holorecord for this historical event is unavailable at this time". Maybe they've got this setup so that we get a new one after each patch or addition to the game? Either way it would be nice to see some kinda hint on how often they plan to update it. Sorry but I'm not buying it that they're stopping their entire holonet timeline because of a little "backlash"....
  7. I know. I've been patiently waiting and haven't seen anything. I almost got suckered into buying the collectors edition of the game because I thought it had a DVD containing all the timeline entries. But alas it's just a book, but at least I found that out before I wasted my money though. BW can you put out an updated timeline file? It was something I looked forward too....
  8. This "wave" thing is the stupidest idea I've ever seen. By not providing a person's spot in the "wave list" the SWTOR website is getting hammered by stupid threads say OMG I want to play etc. I really hope this isn't a representation of the kind of thought that goes behind this MMO or I can see failure in the future. Proper planning prevents piss poor performance...... Words to live by.
