Given the insane inflation in the game's economy, guild ships should cost $150m each now, not $15m that's a *********** joke and if we don't get compensated for the huge opportunity cost of having spent $50m each back when credits were hard to come by, then this is just a firm kick in the pants for every existing guild, and more proof that Bioware doesn't have a clue about managing the in-game economy.
  2. So where do I apply for my $70M rebate on the 2 guild ships (1 pub, 1 imp) I already bought?
  3. They are keeping the titles for people who have legendary status already. The problem is for people like me, who are half-way though Legendary (which takes about 3 hypercrates of packs to complete) and have already bought and opened the 5 to 10 hypercrates to get that far along, and have been doing it slowly, over time, since those packs are rarely available, and so are expensive when they do list on the GTN. The packs mostly contain crap items nobody wants, so they're basically a waste of money, other than the rep items they drop. So I've been wasting money on crap that I can't sell, for years, just to slowly build the rep. And now that I'm only one or two hypercrates away from the title I've been working for, I'm being told that I can't actually get it unless I buy up 2 more hypercrates in the next 2 weeks and open them all. But there are zero packs/crates even available on my server, and you can't buy them from the GTN, so basically Bioware is telling me that they have actually been robbing me of credits/real money for the past few years, and are going to take away my ability to get the thing that I have been slowly paying them for every month.

Might I suggest that if you can't bring packs back before this ends, you at least bump everyone who had a reputation tier above champion in any factions (i.e. anyone who has made it close enough to be working on Legendary rank) up to Champion (and gets that faction's title) before the reputations are wiped and replaced? I'm finding myself incredibly pissed off about this short-sighted change, which rewrites literally years of expensive, progression-based, gameplay and seems like it was not even going to be announced until after it was rolled out - until someone noticed the stealth change on the PTS. This type of unannounced, retrograde degradation of progression trees that loyal subscribers have been paying extra to support for years is precisely why this game can't retain players. I have been buying stronghold packs in small lots whenever they are available and I can afford them, despite the fact that most of what they drop is crap, and they never cover their cost to buy, simply because I knew that I was building that reputation over time, and would eventually get that title once the packs were relisted on the CM again. Now you're telling me that I have been wasting literally millions of credits on a reputation stream that is being removed - without notice - because, well, why? Why not just remove the faction limits from the vendors? Just let anyone who has CM certs buy from any of the vendors. Or give anyone who has any rep in any of the factions both titles, and THEN remove them all together. The current plan is simply robbing anyone who has some rank in any faction other than Legendary.
  5. PLEASE MAKE THE OLD PACKS AVAILABLE FOR SALE AGAIN. RIGHT NOW. Or put in a vendor where we can buy rep tokens from the different factions, for a large amount each. I have been slowly working to build these reps over years. I have 2 full, but what I really want is the "Magnate" title, and I'm only about 23k reputation points away from getting it. I've spent untold millions on old packs with crappy drops trying to get there, whenever they are available (since they don't sell on the cartel market very often.) I just bought the last hypercrate of stronghold packs ON ANOTHER SERVER and paid the CC to transfer it to mine, only to get SEVEN *********** cartel certificates, and hardly any rep items. I swear to god, if I lose access to this title in 2 weeks, with so little rep left to complete it, I will never subscribe to the game again.
  6. CAPITAL SHIPS ffs What makes the Star Wars movies great? FLEET BATTLES! Let us team up to attack/defend capital ships! Maybe even let us spawn as gunners or missile techs on the capital ship (that's lots of new code, I know) but even without being able to spawn as a gunner, we need capital ship assaults. Remember the first Battlefront II? Those space battles, where you had to destroy the different systems on a capital ship/defend them, using fighters? Just do that. Make it 2 part like voidstar - one round defending, one round attacking. Would be so much fun.

So basically this decreases the tactical value of the unit considerably, especially for those players who go to the trouble to learn both the class and all the maps for PVP, and at the same time makes energy management needlessly complex by encouraging less-powerful attacks not usually performed in the most effective rotation. Just made Elite Warlord on my Eng Sniper yesterday, and see no reason to ever play this class in Regs again, as 100% of the leadership role has been cut. When Plasma Probe is denying a safe cap is the only time I feel comfortable calling out near-term tactics and longer strategic instructions. Without it, I am not going to talk at all while holding a cap, with just my "Inc X" cued up in the text window, for fear of getting stunned and then watching helpless as a cap happens. As for ranked, I think this is a minor nerf at best, and don't see it affecting play much other than in longer matches where energy depletion sets in. A lot of snipers are going to lose a lot of Reg matches for some very angry teams in the next update.

  10. What about if I get a purple set piece from a command crate and then pull the mod and RE it? I was told this was a 100% chance to get a schematic. Is someone messing with me?
  11. Can I RE a 51 lethal mod I buy on GTN to get a scematic? I don't want to drop like 7 mil on it if it doesn't give me a schem.

  13. Ok, so here's the deal. I have a main server where I have 10 toons and a lvl 50 legacy. I have thousands of decos unlocked there. I started a new character on a different server, and when I opened one of my Cantina crates, I got the really rare Mandalore statue. I stupidly clicked on it, so now it's the only deco unlocked for that lvl 1 legacy. I have a free server transfer, and so I was thinking about transferring that character to my regular server. However, since that server is already legacy level 50, I think the new toon will just get transferred into that legacy, which doesn't have the deco unlocked. Is that a valid concern? Does anyone have experience moving a toon from a low-level legacy and bribing the unlocked decos with them into the new legacy? Please advise.
