  1. <Masters of Nothing>'s Thursday night Imperial Ops group is looking for a DPS, range preferred, available from 9:30 to 11:00 PM ET. We are easy going but progression oriented. Must have mumble for voice comms. If interested, please reply here, PM, or send in-game mail to "Gwen'Stefani".
  2. I met Dominus Nihil one day in general chat and started running joint Nightmare Pilgrim groups with Dominus Nihil and my guild at the time. To make a long story short, we decided to merge with Dominus Nihil, and it has been great. Come along and join the fun!
  3. We have some pretty great folks in DN. The forums are incredibly entertaining, including our resident writer and guild biographer who periodically writes epic installments recording the legend that is Dominus Nihil.
  4. Shadowfist - Shadow Damage Taken & Damage Taken/Death Damage Taken - 718848 Deaths - 2 http://i33.tinypic.com/34nldv4.jpg I'm sure these Shadow defensive numbers will be surpassed pretty quickly, but the board just looked so empty.
  5. Shadowfist - Shadow 300+ Protection/Damage Protection - 334786 Damage - 457531 http://i33.tinypic.com/jhtytk.jpg
  6. It's great that BioWare is taking this particular issue into consideration. I wish they would make a post on this thread just so we have some confirmation here as well.
  7. That's a good idea, but I believe it only affects the transparency of lighting effects not their flashing. I will have to check this out again as it's been quite awhile since I experimented with those settings.
  8. I share this concern with Olicc and started a similar thread just before this one was posted. For the sake of reference between the two, here is the link. Please direct further conversation here as Olicc's post is much more informative. Suggestions Provide an option that causes "flashing" effects to instead display a constant aura. Provide a rate limit for "flashing" effects. Render "flashing" effects in negative (this may or may not be effective).
  9. Update: Please direct further posts to Ollic's much more informative thread here. Both Terror from Beyond (TfB) and the new operation Scum and Villainy (SaV) include boss fights with significant flashing that makes them unsafe for photosensitive and epileptic players. I realize this is a limited population, but it actually has a significant impact on my guild due to key players who cannot participate in these operations. I expect others may be in the same situation. Is there any possibility of enabling a setting that can photosensitive and epileptic players, possibly by disabling flash effects or rendering them differently? If not, is it possible to at least release the new SaV operation without such problematic flash effects? It was a big blow to be unable to participate in TfB due to the flashing in the fight against Operator IX. It's terribly disappointing to be excluded from SaV due to flashing in the fight against Dread Master Styrak. I realize that not every constituency of a gaming audience can be accommodated, but I wanted to put this suggestion out for feedback since it seems like there may be common sense solutions that would not negatively impact the game or other players.
  10. A number of us use Mumble for voice communications while playing SWTOR. A feature of Mumble is the ability to provide positional audio based on the in-game positions of participants in a Mumble channel. For example, I could be in a warzone facing north with a fellow Mumble user to me west-southwest. When my fellow Mumble user speaks, I would hear his voice in my left ear, slightly behind (assuming a surround sound setup is in place). I would like to develop a positional audio plugin for Mumble and SWTOR, and I'm sure many others would both benefit from and greatly enjoy the addition. In order to support development of such a plugin, I have a couple of questions: 1. Is it possible to read the in-game position and heading of one's character from the running SWTOR client? 2. If the running SWTOR client does not provide position and heading information, it is permissible to inspect the client's memory space for this information?
