  1. So we were told that we would be able to mix and match skills and equipment. However, You can't do either. If I want to be a Healer that carries a Dualblade saber.. Too Bad. If I want to be a Sith Assasin that Carries Duel Blades.. Too Bad. If I want to be a Marauder with Ranged Lightning abilities... Get The Frak over it. ~~~ YOU CAN NOT EVEN CHANGE THE "APPERENCE" OF A 1 HANDED SABER TO A DUAL SABER! *** IS UP WITH THAT???? It's you intentionally garanteed us customizability, and then reneged on every single part of it. The ONLY thing this entire hyped POS update did was allow you to have a separate class, and 'Switch" to that Class. THAT IS NOT WHAT WE WERE TOLD!!!! YOU FRAKIN LIED TO US BIOWARE, AGAIN.... We do NOT need a class switcher, WE HAVE MULTIPLE CLASSES ALREADY. WE WANT TO BE ABLE TO INTERCHANGE SKILLS AND ITEMS ADN WEAPONS. YOUR FRAKIN DEV VIDEO SAYS IF WE WANT TO USE A DUAL SABER ON A MARADER OR INQUISITER WE WOULD BE ABLE TO. IF WE WANTED TO USE RANGED LIGHTNING SPELLS ON A MARAUDER OR A JUMP ON AN INQUISITER, WE COULD. Give us what you promised us. Some of you might think this is a stupid thing to be pissed about. I resubscribed specifically, because of that Dev Video. So I have literally PAID for a guaranteed service, which is now not being given to me. If You did this to your consumers, in Europe You would be facing millions in fines and criminal charges for scamming. Do not hype up and guarantee or promise your players something, if you do not intend to do it.
  2. No, if you are any kind of class which is not a healer, you can NOT do ANYTHING without your companion. You will just die repeatedly to lower level single targets except the lowest easiest mobs. And if there is more then 1 of them your screwed even then. A Companion healer is REQUIRED, for ALL Content the same level or higher then you. Source - Jedi Knight trying to play KOTFE and can't even make it past the first trash mobs without dyeing repeatedly. It's absolute ********.
  3. Well I mean lets be real here, I as a Sith am simply going to reach out with the force and burst an artery in your brain if your not a force user and watch you collapse because you have 0 defenses against me. Hell I could easily do this to 100,000 Man Army of non force users. When the force used correctly on an enemy force, you mine as well be a God. No one and nothing can touch you or hurt you or even remotely stand a chance.. with the exception of MAYBE the sniper. Simply because even if you knew as a Jedi/Sith you were walking into what could be a trap, there is every chance you won't see that bullet coming from 5 miles away on top of a ridge. So a Sniper could probably kill a Jedi/Sith. But no other non-force user would ever even have a chance.
  4. Actually, this is the type of girl I'd love to have in RL. At least they are loyal. and I can deal with crazy, since all of my x's were nuts anyway, it's just par for the course with me. None of them have been Carve my name into their arm/ride or die chick crazy though.... Which is unfortunate, And probably why I am single.
  5. The problem with companions is not whether a class has an evil or dark sided one. The Real issue is that For Sith Inquisitor, the Romance Option (For a straight male) is locked to a Non-Turnable Jedi Petulant Princess. Even the Male Jedi Knight gets Kira, who is in fact a frakin Sith. And through conversation can be 100% turned to love your darkside. I mean she never goes full blown Sexual deviant bathe in blood and screw your brains out on top of some dead bodies like "Jaesa"... But hey.. (I love Kira by the way, *********** awesome character).
  6. What Bioware is missing here is that Quantity of players using the dye system would increase 100 Fold, if they would add them to collections. It amazes me that When companies do things like this they miss the fact that most of their playerbase doesn;t use the system because of it's expense, and with their lock on F2P Credits, no F2p player will be able to purchase them off the exchange. And F2p PLayers make up about 60% of the population. Some will buy them directly from the cartel market, But they will never purchase the most expensive dyes. The problem with this is that it means almost 60% of the player base is not financially giving them money (For this specific system). Thats literally 100s of 1000s of players, which Bioware is missing out on for part of their income stream. And the reason is because the price of a one use dye is prohibitively expensive for the current economy of most countries, including the US for the vast majority of players. Meaning most players both f2p and Subscriber, do not use the cartel dyes unless purchased off the Exchange. Ergo... The only people buying dyes off the Cartel Market are whales which only makes up about 5% of the playerbase. Except the rare occasional purchase for a color someone just has to have (when it goes on sale). FInancially this is a horrible business decision as it means income and revenue from this system as it is is cut by about 70% to 80% of what it would be, if the Dyes were able to be added to collection's like Crystals etc. Most people would be fine with paying the current prices once, and then an account unlock fee. Increasing dye purchase across the board by more than 50% and when coupled with unlocks, more dyes will be sold as players will then not just be motivated to compromise and by a color that works (Or the one they really want), but they will want to collect and eventually own every single color over time as well as their unlocks. Thus if bioware would add them to collections for reuse like crystals, tunings etc (But still let them remain one use and not removable from the armor, so you just have to get another from the collections, thus making it a requirement to unlock them for your account). Their revenue from this system would increase 100 Fold. Bioware unfortunately however, never did understand player psychology, or economic psychology for that matter. So while I personally would like to see this system and would in fact buy dyes at that point (Enmass though I buy a few here and there as I am a whale myself), My expenditures on dyes would probably triple, and so would everyone else's, However, I seriously doubt Bioware is that forward thinking. Their intelligence track record for making good business decisions is.... Sadly pathetic which is why their company has so many financial issues. Bioware is a great storyteller company, But they are absolute **** when it comes to making profitable economic or quality of life game decisions. (And doing it the way I have suggested above would be both far more profitable, and give players a much better quality of life concerning the Dye system). It's literally a win win for both players and Bioware.
  7. This is incorrect both psychologically, Realistically, and philosophically. On Mass Losses: Allow me to explain, 1. Who's fault is it? The comment about people blaming everyone but themselves is both a short sighted, and irrelevant comment because it is a "team" game. No matter how Good 1 person is, unless the team are equally on par with that person or a clone of AI copying their moves, no SWTOR team game or match will EVER be decided by a single person. Therefore your individual skill level while relevant to the entirety of the match as a whole is "Relevant". Your individual ability to decide a win or a loss is NOT. Ergo, blaming yourself "for the loss", would be pointless, irrelevant, self depreciating, and a waste of mental effort. 2. Why does this actually happen? As has been stated multiple times in this thread, the actual fault lies with Bioware and their matchmaking algorithms. This game was Biowares first MMORPG (and only MMORPG actually), they didn't have a clue what they were doing when they made it, and even though they have gotten better over the years..... Minuetly.... They still do not understand the basics of how an MMRPG works Pvp wise nor how to actually Balance a given system. Balance to most companies like Bioware where pvp is concerned means "Ensure everyone has similar abilities and damage". Unfortunately this is not actual "Balance". It just makes your class.. well... Pointless. True balance, deals with giving each class unique skills and abilities (Not cookie cutter **** with different names and graphics). Which give strengths and weaknesses to individual classes. IE, a tank would be able to take massive damage, but as a trade off, do very little back, OR a Sniper might have their crit rate be higher depending on the range they are at up to their maximum range, ie, 80% crit rate at Max range for example and depreciate it the closer the target is. As a trade off the class would be easy to kill if you got up on it, or maybe do **** damage at close range. Balance is about weaknesses and strengths, and each class being unique in them. Its about your skill to exploit said weaknesses with countering classes equipment and builds. Sadly MOST DEVS FROM AAA COMPANIES MMORPGs don't understand this because lets be real... They don't actually play video games. That's right, the Bioware Devs don't play SWTOR (Its in the contract for being a Dev for an EA/Bioware, and Even Blizzard game (As a dev you are contractually forbidden to play the MMORPG you work on), so you expecting them to fix it is asinine because they do not even know what the problem is because they don't play the game, and Developers, do not read forums only the PR people do and they never speak with the devs. The devs fix what the big wigs want them to fix and nothing else, and those are only things which hurt the companies income from the game. Nothing else. Even if the devs knew and wanted to fix the issues, they are employees and can only fix what they are "allowed" to fix. This is why the matchmaking system is broken. And why so many people experience these broken matches continually. How do I know the above? Because I used to be a Developer for: Blizzard, Bioware, and EA among others.
  8. Loot boxes (and items like them that offer a low almost impossible to achieve chance to attain an item) are inherently a classified under international law as "scams". The US is the only country in the world that allows Developers and publishers to sell them. It is an actual criminal action in any other country which will end the studio executives up in jail or prison. This being the case, am I surprised you never got the saber? Absolutely not, It's a scam, what did you think was going to happen? You mine as well have given your money to the robo callers for your cars extended warranty, or the IRS tax break fee. If you buy loot boxes, expecting to get anything of real value that you desire, your an idiot and should not be allowed to manage your own finances as clearly you can not make adult decisions or recognize dangerous pitfalls financially. Just so you know, I am not trying to be mean. In the future if you buy a loot box, do it for the surprise. Not because you think you'll get an item. (Just FYI I am pretty sure this is why Swtor stopped selling them, and now only sell the random item" boxes which are very specific about their content, ie, "Thisbox grants a Silver/gold/copper, Weapon, Armor, Dye, Mount, etc and there are different boxes for each catagory and tier. This is not a lootbox by definition as you are not paying for a "chance" at something you are paying for a random specific item type, of specific quality)
  9. IM generally at the top of the empire roister for healing, or damage..... So. It isn't me, and most of the people on my team have super high numbers, whereas the other team... not so much but they still win. Its a combination of The maps being given to Pub advantages, and the way some of the class skills work Pub Vs Empire. Empire classes are better at PvE from what I have noticed, Pub classes are tailored more for "PvP". Thus creating an inherent disadvantage. The other part is that the que itself does not discriminate between a group of solo pugs, and a premade and simply slams them together thus causing the premade to steamroll the pug 99% of the time. Pub guilds are generally more focused on pvp whereas empire guilds are more focused on pve (in general) so the vast majority of the premades come from you guessed it "Pub side". Once again creating an inherent imbalance in skill, coordination and tactics vs teams. Both of these problems are easily solved with a few algorithms which would lit4erally take all of 30 minuets to write and test. And yet like Textures for updated graphics, which are also extremely low cost and easy to implement, bioware and EA are silent and choose not to fix them.
  10. The game is aging, and is falling behind other newer titles being released. While the game still might have a lot to offer content wise, it is bleeding players due to Horrible textures and low graphics. An outfit for example, should not look on inspection when previewing on your character or wearing it, like a blurred image. The same is true for ship textures and even plant, npc, and fauna textures. Basically in order to stay relevant the game needs a massive texture overhaul, if not a complete rework of the graphics and rendering engine in general. it's 2021, your players do not want to continue to look at a game that can be obviously noted as from 2011. Why is this necessary? Because your competitors are upgrading theirs, and while people might like Star Wars, at some point, you suddenly realize this games really frakin old. And when that happens, you then also notice that while other studios have been updating theirs, Bioware/EA doesn't seem to care enough about the game to keep it graphically relevant, and if you don't care about this, what else do you not care about?. So people leave for games that do care. Basically, it would be in biowares best interest financially where this game is concerned, to do a graphics overhaul as soon as possible. You have 10 new MMORPGs releasing in 2021 and 2022 one of them is a Starwars game. Its time you start taking Swtor seriously. Because if you don't this will be the last 5 years it's around, if that, and your income after the next 2 may dwindle to nothing and become deficit. People can laugh at this, troll me, whatever. You can have the graphics don't matter mentality... But.. maybe you should take a poll. You might find that to the vast majority of players, graphics do in fact determine whether a player actually dedicates money and time to a game. Now, if you at Bioware don't really care, well then I suppose nothing will happen.
  11. Bioware and EA make over 300+ Million a year from this game, in addition to almost a billion in its hayday. The total cost to make and produce the original game with all independent stories was around 150 million. If your telling me a company that has made almost 5 billion on this game since release can't afford to make the expansion just as good, Not only will I call you an idiot (No offense this would just be a statement of fact), but I'd say you were running PR Propaganda for Bioware EA. Financial records are public you know. 1. No, the problem is that Like every other AAA studio, once they make a quick buck and get a cash cow, they stop caring about the actual content or the players, or the quality. Because they know players are stupid, and will give them chance after chance after chance after chance after chance after chance after chance after chance after chance after chance after chance after chance after chance.... Instead of speaking with their wallet and abandoning the game and hitting Bioware and EA where it hurts, and thus sending them a clear message that either you make a quality expansion, or go bankrupt. 2. They are also aware that every other AAA studio is also doing this, and that competitor wise, the entirety of the industry has nothing to offer but more of the same, and boredom and the star wars genre, if nothing else will keep a moderate amount of players coming and going. And the cash train rolling right along the tracks. I'll be honest if there was ANYTHING even slightly similer that wasn't more of the same garbage, I'd blow this ******** in an instant. But there isn't because that's the scam and agreement between the Industry giants. Basically they agree to make different games, but make sure they are all "the same" quality wise. So that none of them will shut any of the others down. It's a cash racket, nothing else. No, Bioware and EA could easily afford to do whatever they wanted. But they like a fat bank account, rather then a happy fan base.
  12. I took her money then put a blaster bolt between her eyes. Philosophically I felt a bit bad though, she was in the position she was in because every person she ever knew betrayed her, and the people she committed to always ended up stabbing her in the back while she betrayed the people who would have taken care of her. This bothered me because it's a mimicry of how many women in the modern world are in 2021, it seems most of them are incapable of making sound logical decisions concerning relationships, and people in general. The truth is I pitied her. I Killed her though because at her age (I assume from her looks and attitude late 20's early 30s), she was set in her ways, she would never learn, and continue to hurt people, and while she wouldn't be doing this intentionally, most of the time, the damage she would cause others indirectly could not be allowed. So as a mercy to end both her suffering, and prevent her from causing the suffering of others with her bad life choices, I killed her. To be honest I would see her as less of a threat if her actions through her life had been intentional, but an individual who causes suffering indirectly is far more dangerous then someone who does it consciously.
  13. So basically what your saying is, Empire side loses 99% of the time, and pub side wins 888% of the time got it. Like I said, there's an issue. The que should be slated to statistically enable 50% win on both sides.
  14. Actually Im on 25 losses of 25 games. Not a single win. So yes something is definitely wrong with the que maker.
  15. spent 50$, Never got either, 6 of the same of one Silver Armor set, and 5 of another. Ton of chance cubes, garbage, and no sabor. Will never buy packs again. Bioware needs to list these items for sale by themselves. If everyone boycotts the packs, Bioware will put the items people want on the actual market.
