  1. I just got booted out to the character select screen, now when trying to load character into the game it says error finding codex: 0 on the splash screen but the cog is still spinning, no loading bar took about 2 minutes but then loaded straight into the game.
  2. At the moment I seem to be able to log in fine, but grouping or adding friends is still an issue.
  3. I'm also having similar problems. Now the login issue seems to be fixed, I'm still having problems with adding friends (adding a friend takes about 5 minutes to actually add a friend), then can't join group with friends or group finder (this is also taking 5-10 minutes.) Disbanding a group is also the same. Joining group finder is a no no at the moment, as is queuing for warzones and flashpoints even with a pre-made group, requiring just 1 extra person. Basically solo play seems to be fine but group oriented activities are severely lagging/slowed by about 5-10 minutes. I'm on Red Eclipse, the same issues persist for my husband and my son since patch 2.8.
  4. Yeah, I've completed both class stories on Tython (Consular/Knight) and completed all achievements that were listed but still on 70/80 for exploration...not sure if I should move on to the next planet or to hunt some more, been here 3 days already lol. Don't want to leave without full achievements really. Do you have to be 50 to complete it? Update: This page on Dulfy.net might help others as it helped me: http://dulfy.net/2013/04/17/swtor-mcr-99-droid-reconnaissance-achievement-guide/#19
  5. The other's are just 'rise to power' at the moment, there's so much more that can be done, I wonder what is planned for the future.
  6. I've actually only crashed once today and not really had bad lag...makes a change considering it's Sunday
  7. Was just on the server, in a cutscene and got kicked
  8. I'm sure if BioWare had spent another 6 years working on SWTOR before releasing it with a lot more content, people would still be complaining but they'd be complaining that the game is unplayable due to bugs and whatnot as well as having to wait so long for the game to be released. At least with 50 levels they will have a solid base to develop further content from without the bugs and glitches. I think I prefer the latter.
  9. Well myself and my husband both play SWTOR as well as many of our friends and we're all in our 30s, and no none of us work for BioWare.
  10. I agree that this is the best MMO I've ever played to date. It is obvious that BioWare are going to focus on fixing issues with the game, make changes etc before delivering any new content. Story was this game's main focus and I think it has added to the MMO genre, something that other development houses will probably try to implement themselves in the future ('try' being the operative word as no one writes a story like BioWare.) End-game content isn't an issue for me as for me at least it's not the end of the game, it's mearly the beginning and although I will probably drop SWTOR for a time (especially with ME3 round the corner) I'll keep paying subscription for whenever I feel like PvPing or doing Flashpoints or whatever until they release an update or expansion. I'm a huge fan of the game and like I said before it feels to me that this is just the beginning, every MMO has been in this state where you've maxed your char and really can't develop it any further. Like others have said, if you don't like it, don't play it. Simples.
  11. I've played Consular and I think the Bounty Hunter story is much better maybe because I prefer to be kind of neutral and I too prefer Skadge to Gault, Mako I've just accepted lol.
  12. Considering this is an MMO I don't know how much more immersive you can make it, I do understand the OPs point but like I said, it's an MMO, it's never going to be as immersive as a single player RPG.
  13. After reading the above, processing it and seeing there are many different views on this my view feels as though it doesn't matter. I played WoW for too many years, played it from vanilla right through when DPS meters became so darn important, to be perfectly honest I feel it ruined WoW for me, it wasn't any longer about just enjoying playing the game, there was pressure put on people to be doing better DPS if there was a wipe and even more so on healers. Anyhow this forum isn't about WoW so I'm just going to say that I like it how it is, I don't want the game to turn into a gear grind or put pressure on people that don't have certan gear/mods/weapons etc. I'm enjoying the game as it is, right now I don't even care if I've outlevelled a planet before I get there, I'm taking my good time listening and being a part of the on going-story, gear and DPS is the least of my worries - as long as I can survive the beasts and enemies I come across on my journey.
