So you're saying 90% of people who play sorc in the lvl 50 bracket are bad? Because getting 300k in a match in the lvl 50 bracket is a lot harder then when you mish mashed with a bunch of low levels. As for your second like the majority of other responders you've done nothing but troll and insult my ability as a player. Chances are you don't know anything of my ability as a player personally.

I never said I had problems in WZ as much as 1 on 1, specifically with healers and heavy armor classes. You should pay more attention.

Maybe a fresh 50 with no gear, I could see that being true. However I'm not a healer and they will do enough DPS to kill me before I can do enough to kill them. They'd have to be really poor in the endurance for me to shred them.

After you play long enough you realize madness spec damage is weak compared to other specs and melee cant touch you, don't even lie. lol You can't kite or push back efficiently on open flat surface that tactic works on the cat walks in Hutball but try and pull it off on Ilum and see where that gets you. Also, you clearly never dueled a tank because especially a PVE speced one will rip you to shreds with their amount of interrupts. A SW can jump to you and a powertech will rope you in. If you overload a decent player will use ranged interrupt on you. You can only you use one stun they'll break. But you might be dead by the time their resolve drops for another. If you just claim wins without explaining how you accomplish them I consider it trolling. Your post wasn't even worth the time it took to respond but I'll just direct any further bragging to this response. If you're going to lay these claims explain your solutions, don't just claim to have one, because you clearly don't if you didn't bother to write it out. LOL for first week of doing WZ as a 50 I got owned so bad because I forgot about cleanse! Soon as I figured that out I started to hate my madness 3/7/31 spec and now I'm sporting hybrid. Increased my cumulative damage and survivability. So far it's the best spec I tried because I can get in the fray and carry the ball. The lowered cooldown on the shock stun and insta cast whirl wind help a lot in huttball if you wanna score a touch down as a sorc. I don't do as much damage as a full lightning spec but I usually come very close to their output if I just DPS the whole match.

Because for the longest time, and I still occasionally hear this. People said sorc are OP. I find most of this large percentage don't know how to play a sorc. In fact, killing sorc is what I do best on my sorc because it's a fairly equal playing field for me. 1 on 1 I can kill most sorc players. Most of them never use interrupts, forget to cast their static shields more often than I do. There are very few good sorc players in my experience and I don't claim to be the best but I've certainly become decent after the a month. If you think sorc are OP it's because you've had several of them attack you at once. Try and duel a sorc and you'll see they aren't very tough at all. Especially if you get in close to a sorc. Which granted it's hard to do in Huttball when they're running the catwalks. To be honest that map is just very advantageous to ranged DPS. Snipers do great on it.

How's it balanced when in 1 on 1 combat certain classes win over others 9 times out of 10? Shouldn't skill and ability to play your class be a factor?

LOL and sorc/sage can interrupt maybe like once every 15 seconds and lock someone out for 4 seconds from that ability! Unless the healing tree lower the CL on interrupt I forget. Still, that's like the only real interrupt I got a sorc aside from my stuns which are useless once the resolve bar fills up. Plus they can break out of the stun and then what? You can't use the other stun and if your interrupt is used up... what then? I personally run like a little kid and hide behind something. lol

Lets just say that 1 on 1 combat and PVP combat are different. On an equal playing field a sorc will loose to most classes, hands down. Why? Because while it's a DPS light armor class it can't hold it's own against heavy armor DPS classes like troopers, and mercs. Even more hilarious is trying to take on a tank with their many interrupts! It's like banging your head into a brick wall. I've played a lot of PVP since the release of the game and I have to say that sorc are so underpowered in DPS in relativity to their squishy factors it's rather annoying. The only reason sorc DPS as much as they do in PVP is by taking high ground and aoe and spaming attacks from safety. This works great in HuttBall but other maps it's difficult to keep your distance. I've tried a lot of different specs and talked to many sorc players who like my self produce around 200k-300k damage in a huttball match if the other team sucks and doesn't know to get us off the ramps. The bottom line is that 1 on 1 we can't kill heavy armor classes or healers. Which is absurd, for light armor DPS shouldn't we have DPS enough to kill most classes, instead we're usually forced to flee in 1 on 1 combat and there's very little run and hide behind on ilum. Consider your self dead if the enemy spots you and you're alone. I've tried many different builds an unless you got healing spec you're not going to have survivability in most 1 on 1 encounters. However, healer just spam heal themselves and run and that isn't what I rolled a sorc for. I'm not asking for higher DPS or insane damage per say but give me SOMETHING to even out the playing field when going up against tanks and heavy armor DPS! Those are my thoughts, if you don't agree go play a sorc for month non-stop and then explain to me what I've been doing wrong.
