  1. This whole "horizontal progression" system seems good in idea. Sure have different set bonuses and different tacticals adds great new styles of play and adds more variation to classes/specs. But having 20 different variants for each type of mod slot, where each slot may have multiple types (ie Mods have R, AR, BR and enhancements have 3 secondary stats but each then further has different variants nimble/savant/etc.) is just insane. I have had my subscription to have meaningful progression in Operations (which has currently been too easy with number fluff but that's nothing compared to the insult that is the variants) and with meaningful gear acquisition. If it entails me grinding/pounding my head against my keyboard not only for higher new 20 levels of higher gear, but also having to deal with hundreds of useless variants, I may just leave after Dxun. (edit mistype vertical should say horizontal)
  2. Super Mutant Trandoshan Action Squad GX: Shining Hunter Force of Justice Brigade better be the name of the boss
  3. or why not just show us exactly what it has/will have to begin with while in the stash, like how it was. Instead now i have to pull it into my inventory just to see its nonsense gear that i don't need and/or have some nonsense mods with the new -AR forks that are super unnecessary. I also fail to see why the set bonuses were moved to the armor shell itself other than that you guys are looking for a tedious credit sink where now we get to armor every new piece we have 7 armor slots + 3 implant/earpiece, with 16 "great new" tiers, that may or may not have best in slot mods cus we needed more RNG
  4. 1000% upvote. Need MiniMatt to troll me to do better
  5. Hey folks, so today our GM got fed up with one of the representatives being completely useless and more of a hindrance than help. So he then proceeded to call customer support to get to the bottom of this for our entire guild. To sum up what we learned is that there are quite a few unhelpful CS members and they are being flagged by those in charge. We also learned they are training new CS reps so we can expect better support in time. Why am I writing this post? It's to have people not lash out at devs and CS as a whole, there are just a few people who aren't being helpful, whether they don't know how or being lazy idk. It is clear that the team is trying to resolve this so please be a little patient.
  6. I had this posted while there was talk of Open World PvP, but it being a crazy idea it's more suited to be here. There should be a new area (original idea was a new planet but Iokath Armory seems a better fit now) that runs similar to a conquest. Rather then guilds vying for control, it would be empire vs republic trying to get a hold of gear and weaponry to outfit their soldiers and help turn the tide in their favor. It should require a full group of 8 people (if the idea gains traction and server merges happen might want to increase to 16) or more to enter. Not restricted to one group many 8man groups can enter. The area should open up once a week for about 12 hours (again amount of time can change and even become weeklong depending on participation). The rewards for the weekly capture should be at least random tier 3 unassembled gear piece (maybe make it some sort of voucher so you can choose at a vendor rather than random?), credits, a VMC. An option would also be to let subbed players whose side win also receive one older cartel pack or some other incentive for people to sub as well. Like conquest this would require a personal conquest of a set number of kills (possibly 10?). A huge open battle only makes sense now that there is actual contest between the two factions. It would be nice to see players participate in a battle of alderaan scale pvp. This is also targeted towards bigger guilds who want to pvp and haven't been getting much group content. I feel the guilds will rally to go against their opposing faction as well as to be able to get some nice gear from PvP. An optional idea is also to change it up every month or so such as going from only player kills to objectives such as king of the hill or domination style where people have to control set points with majority. TL:DR Open World PvP conquest, separate from current one
  7. @CharlesBoyd So I've had this idea for quite a while now. I was reluctant to share due to lack of updates, but now seeing such great communication and work from the team trying to improve the game, it'd be nice to hear thoughts on it. Would love to hear constructive criticism and any other improvements as well as dev thoughts on this.
