  1. That is surprising, but I suspect it's because there's a "Kill 75" specific to Sec X, maybe...
  2. Not surprising, since Sec X is on Belsavis.
  3. I pulled the Sec. X missions yesterday, and they worked just fine. For Rishi, the last time it came up, I ran the crew mission in the basement of the cantina, on 4 separate characters, and got it to trigger just fine. I did the LS option on Pub characters. Granted, this is a workaround, not a fix, but it gets the credit for getting it done.
  4. Alternatively, it could be that the idea that prompted the responses was just bad. "L2P w/out Playing".
  5. Yep, if you are incapable of listening to what your team is telling you, you will be kicked. How many players in GSF are telling their teammates what they're doing wrong? Is it the same method they use in Fleet chat, where it's "edited for the forums noobs are ruining my game"? Does it happen at all? When I was Progression Raiding, we did training runs. How many training runs are you sponsoring for GSF? What's that you say, it's not your job? It wasn't our job either. We did it because people that were interested in the content need to learn it. They can't learn it, however, waiting in the queue.
  6. We can be pretty sure it's not server side, or there'd be 4 or 5 threads about it on the first couple of pages instead of bringing back an 8 month old post.
  7. So they need to try harder while they're sitting in the queue waiting to get back in, because someone decided they needed to be kicked for being bad?
  8. They don't. The lack of comprehension of stated opinions does. You see, you seem to believe that I'm dead set against this, and nothing could be further from the truth, I just don't think it's likely to happen, which is exactly what I said in my very first post in this topic. You have won several gold medals for all the mental gymnastics you've gone through trying to refute this, but I remain unconvinced. When that didn't work, you've now resorted to assigning my motives, and claiming that I'd buy the token. I haven't purchased any of the existing ones, why would I start now? I do have a freebie left over from when they were first introduced, but I don't care about skipping anything. It gives me plenty of time to work my comps influence for whatever crafting or missions I'm running once I get to cap. Why lose out on free influence, so I can then buy the comp boosts? The other tokens are at 2k CC, if they make this, you can bet it will be at least that for a character, and probably much higher for the Legacy, since that's how other per character or Legacy unlocks work. The reason this adversely affects us is that, if they don't make this exactly like you want it, you'll be roasting them for it. There's no need to try to deny this, you're already failing miserably at trying to roast me for believing they're not likely to do this, to the point of making things up to attribute to me, such as my "happily buying it"... But hey, I hear the Olympics are coming up, at some point, maybe you can enter into the Mental Gymnastics category, and win some gold?
  9. The highlighted part demonstrates what's wrong with this conversation. You're reading to reply, instead of reading to see what people are saying. I have stated on more than one occasion that I, in fact, wouldn't use this if it were available. On the other hand, you stated that you would pay for it, if it was 500CC, and free to subs... So you stated that you both would, and wouldn't buy it? This, ladies and gentlemen, is why we can't have nice things.
  10. Except it has everything to do with why the items you're wanting to copy/paste w/out the leveling exist in the first place? It's why they exist in every MMO that has them, to jump straight to end game activities. There's a reason these items jump characters to the levels they do, when they were introduced, they were at, or near, the end game caps. ...and you've put the cart before the horse here, getting the ship through class missions was important so that you'd have a ship to travel the galaxy in before there were SHs or clickables on the Galaxy map, or Heroic Transports. It's still the reason why some missions, whether they're comp or class missions, will tell you to travel to the target planet, and traveling to your SH on a planet that has one won't work. The ship was what was important, and back then, there was no "Jump to cap" option. I also find it hilarious, still, that you won't pay 2K CC for one, but believe that you'll get it for 500 CC? Why would they do that? As few players as would actually use this optional thing, they're going to have to sell it for at least the original target price to recoup some of the investment in making it work. Despite what you believe, it's not as simple as flipping a toggle, especially with comps that are tied to the Class missions. I used Jaessa as one example, another would be Bowdaar. Whether you care about that or not is irrelevant to what they'll have to do to make your item work properly, and it will have to work properly, or we'll be hearing all about how broken it is, and how BW can't code simple stuff, etc. A simple read of the forums on any given day will yield a lot of examples, such as with GS lately.
  11. As an aside, how is my playing solo adversely affecting you? If you weren't in my guilds back when I was raiding, you wouldn't be in my groups anyway, since we rarely pugged in anyone outside of the guild. The same is true for FPs. So, essentially, we could have been playing in parallel for years, and never known it. I played tanks, healers and DPS in progression raiding for years, but I don't, as a general rule of thumb, PuG my tanks or healers. The experiences I've had when I did were enough to demonstrate that I don't really want to. I don't do WZs, so we won't be crossing paths there, and I don't do GSF, so we won't see each other in there either. So my solo playstyle has no bearing on what you're doing at all. "But they run to the forums trying to get everything nerfed"? I haven't been, but I'd bet there are lots of "Nerf Paper, Scissors are fine as they are, Rock" posts in the PvP forums. It's a meme for a reason.
  12. Which doesn't change the reality of how the system works. It's sort of inconvenient for you, isn't it? Neither did I imply you did, I merely mentioned one of the limitations to having a ship at level 1. Again, reality. Well, that was certainly some "skilled" play. The way you're going on about it, I'd think you'd just run one of the Oricon Ops solo, as opposed to some of the easiest Heroics in the game. Perhaps, for you, it's the same thing? In your shoes, however, I would simply run the Class missions up until I got my ship, and then go hog wild with whatever else I wanted to do instead. After all, by your own admission, you don't need the rest of the comps, because you have the droids. Nope. You cannot get your ship at level 1, or level 10, w/out doing the Class Missions that it's tied to. You can get it at level 60+, however, through the datacrons. So I'm going to have to go with "Screenshot or it didn't happen" on getting the ship w/out using either of the listed methods it's available. If you mean your class comps and ship, no, you won't, but have fun believing that you will?
  13. This is the whole issue you're having, right here. Assigning motive isn't going to help you out much, mostly because you're wrong about what I'm even talking about, or where that opinion of your idea is coming from. But hey, it's your world, and we're all just figments, right? That the method you want to use isn't likely to happen. It's what I've been saying since my first post in the thread. Of course, you're off on tangents of assigning motives. Here's my motive: reality. As was pointed out subsequently, you get to "skip" it, but your character doesn't. This is how the "skip to 60" tokens work, as well as the "skip to 70" and the skipping of the story arcs that you can do at your ship's mission terminal. None of what you're asking for exists in the game, in it's current state, and adding it isn't cost effective. As you said, you feel like it should be free for subs, and 500 CC for everyone else that may want to use it, for no benefit whatsoever to the player. You have your ship, your droid, and your crew, and no where to play. PvP doesn't open up until what, level 10? Any where besides your starter world you try to go is going to outright own you, unless, of course, you expect them to revamp all of that to suit your little niche desire too? That's a lot of money you want them to spend to accommodate something you're going to get for free through your sub, right? "But I'd be willing to pay" is cool and all, but how many others are going to? I certainly won't be. I can already skip all the class missions, if I want to, and I still don't. Hell, I've still got a freebie from way back whenever. If I'm not using that, why would I want to pay for one, and it's not going to be 500 CC, the current iterations of "skip to X" cost a lot more than that, and there's no reason to think this one would be any different, other than your fiction of "but it's already in the game, so it should be easy".
  14. It'll suck to be you if you roll into a Reg WZ against a Ranked premade and get blown up constantly and have to suffer all those consequences, won't it? It'll really suck for a new player that's not familiar with how any of it works at all, and loses more Valor than they actually have, right? That's a hell of a way to encourage new players to get involved in PvP, isn't it?
