New Malgus Poster / Redeem Code Notifications
SteveTheCynic replied to MasterArticulus's topic in Suggestion Box
It worked now because they have fixed the problem that was breaking it for some people. See this post by @JackieKo: -
It's still available (go to Belsavis(1)(2)) if you've earned the right achievements, or if you got them handed to you because one of your characters had at least Social V before the change. (1) Remember that to go to Belsavis, you must go to Belsavis. (2) Once there, on Pubside, go down to the surface and go into the administration centre, and you'll find the vendor at the entrance to the cantina.
-
Yeah, this is a real problem, because obviously the Internet consists of nothing but your local connection and Broadsword's servers.
-
Incorrect. You are not the only one to have posted about this.
-
Not exactly. It unlocks the *next* unlockable tab. No, those characters get tab 3 unlocked.

***Inventory***, not mailbox.

Remove level shift or bring back Command/Reknown rank system.

I've spent thirty-five (...) years as a developer(1), so I'm well aware of the limitations of development teams. And no, if they really thought that level sync and Galactic Command were inextricably linked (hint: they are not), they would have done what it takes to release them together. I do. Often. (1) not of games, mind you(2), but software is software... (2) Leaving aside the episode in late 2008/early 2009 where I was looking for a new job and Every. Single. Recruiter. That. Called. Me. tried to get me to go for the job offered by Eidos (yes, the Tomb Raider folks) for their upcoming football(3) management simulator. The big problem was that the first recruiter who called me said that the team was looking for hardcore footie fans, which I am not, although I probably could have faked it. All this time later (fifteen gdmf years, for ffs), I am still torn about having decided to not pursue that possibility... (3) Association football, sometimes called soccer, where the rules require players to *not* use their hands to manipulate the ball. And the ball is round... -
Re-work companion missions and crafting tasks

I'm pretty sure it's the way it is to make us have to work at it, so we can't just "fire and forget". It's a partial defence against what you might call "non-bot botting". -
DoTs and HoTs can both do this, to any stealth combat style. I have had it repeatedly and semiconsistently for as long as I've been playing stealthers (i.e. since late March 2013).

I said "North America" rather than "the US" because of all the Canadian *teams*. And when/where I grew up (the UK, in the 1970s), hockey was played on grass, and the game the North Americans call "hockey" was called "ice hockey".

That would be more convincing (especially the word "useless") if level sync had been introduced at the same time as Galactic Command. It wasn't. Level sync was introduced in 4.0 (October 2015), and Galactic Command was introduced with 5.0 (late November 2016). -
Sounds like the game is doing its own VSync processing.

Well, I went on the PTS with an Impside character (copied from Live), and went to Hutta. Just the "normal" part of Hutta, mind you, not the 7.5 new part. I was suitably impressed. Job well done for the new appearance of the place.

If you're getting punched in the mouth doing kickboxing (or almost any other martial art(1)), you're doing it wrong. I can't speak for hockey, nor even for the bizarre North American variation of hockey that happens in ice-skating rinks, mind you... (1) I personally favour jujitsu, but whatever. The cardinal rule of all martial arts is "don't get hit".

Re: parts appearing in stealth. If you're fussing about parts, you're concentrating on the wrong thing. *Every* time I've stealthed with *any* character that could do it, beginning with my very first character, what we'd call today a Shadow, in 2013 (just before the release of patch 2.0...), the character's ***entire*** weapon was immune to stealth except if the character had it out when entering into stealth. In case that wasn't clear: this is a problem that dates back at least eleven years...
