  1. Hello, I've collected and legacy unlocked every emote and most mounts in the game. Going in and manually reclaiming every. single. one. is arduous and takes a lot of time when I've created a character or to apply them to an older character that I didn't initially unlock them on. Also a summon Random "Favorite" mount/pet would be amazing. Thank you.
  2. Howdy, First and foremost, did a search for this and the only post seems to be from a few years ago and isn't quite as in-depth as I'd like. I also currently play on Satele Shan so I'm hoping to get some advice from some of the more active servers. I also apologize for the long-winded post but I'm trying to find the right balance between fun and value in ranked and want to provide my experiences to see if they coincide with ranked. I also want to preface this by stating that I am by no means the best PvPer or even close to it, but I'm not completely a noob either. A quick breakdown of the top-50 ranked people as of 11/01/20, Patch 6.1.4. Sniper - 11 Powertech - 8 Sage - 6 Juggernaut - 6 Marauder - 6 Mercenary - 5 Operative - 5 Assassin - 3 The class breakdown is very interesting to me. I also know that top-50 isn't quite indicative of the rest of ranked as a whole... but it's interesting nonetheless. I also wish that it would show spec as I can't differentiate between healer and DPS. Servers Darth Malgus - 27 Star Forge - 17 Satele Shan - 3 The Leviathan - 3 The purpose of this is I'm looking to start ranked PvP. I've invested in my Assassin heavily, getting to ilvl 306 with proper set, tactical, fully augmented and (mostly) min-maxed. After playing the class for so many years though it isn't quite as interesting as it used to be to me. On top of that I want to invest in another character, hence this post. I have a level 75 Marauder, a level 75 Mercenary, on top of a level 70 Operative and Sorcerer. I haven't rolled a PT or Sniper yet. All have been played at their respective maxes, even if I haven't hit the current top level. A few observations from perusing the forums and from playing in general. The Assassin is very versatile. The DCD's are great, the damage is great. I'm honestly surprised there aren't more in the top-50. People here seem to be under the assumption that they can 1v1 anything; I haven't quite discovered this yet. My Mercenary is incredibly fun to play. It has a ton of escapes and if I'm not focused the damage output is great. Being able to heal is a plus and I can generally respond to any situation. That being said, I feel like I'm always focused 100% of the time and spend the vast majority of the arena doing nothing but trying to stay alive. This is as the Arsenal spec. The Marauder has great damage output and is also fairly versatile as well. Seems to be along the same lines as the Assassin with a great amount of DCD's while also providing even more burst. This might be why there are more Mara's than Assassins. I'm legitimately surprised at how many PT's are on this list. People seem to ***** about them non-stop here on the forums. I feel like they do have decent burst and have decent survivability. Being able to pull a target toward the group I'm sure is also immensely valuable. Good Sorcs are hard as hell to bring down. I cut my teeth on my Sorc back-in-the-day when Madness was amazing; it seems like it's shifted considerably towards Lightning. My Operative is squishy as hell. I've always heard about them being the kings of 1v1's - and while that might be the case, I don't seem to be able to do a whole lot in a group setting. I'll do my best to put pressure on non-guarded targets, shift focus to quickly stun, but it just doesn't seem as team oriented as the other classes. Likewise it doesn't seem like a class that can carry like the others. This is one of my least played classes so it could absolutely be a L2P issue. Only because I've been playing for a long time, I understand the Snipers to a certain extent. I know that they are the hardest class to master but seem to be able to carry the hardest. I've run into a handful of really good Snipers who are tanky as hell, but it seems that if you can LOS them you can generally ignore them. So again, I'm wondering if my experiences have any type of comparison to actual ranked PvP. I thought that my next invested character was going to be my Mara but I really enjoy playing my Merc, and am open to working on my Sorc and Operative again. However, how valuable are those classes in actuality? Those three I listed are the least played classes. I also don't know how many of them are healers compared to DPS. If I do decide to invest in one of these classes next as DPS, how will the Ranked Community react? I've seen and heard the complaints here about how toxic it is and would like to minimize the negative feedback as much as possible. For the time being, I honestly want to get my Arsenal Merc up to snuff next but I haven't heard very good things in how people react to that, even with how much fun it is to play. Likewise, I've been playing for a while and will continue to play for a while. I know that one of the general consensuses here is always "play what you want to play" and "try them all out" but I'm looking for more concrete feedback for the short term on what to work next. I'll eventually get them all to the same level I'm sure. Thank you!
  3. Surprised they haven't popped up yet, but still looking for the meditation chamber-thingie that looks like a pumpkin. I missed it he other times around. Anyways, will we see the Halloween stuff in the patch tomorrow?
  4. That's funny, I couldn't even tell you the last time I did Kuat Drives through GF. I get HS and surprisingly BT a lot - which is fine by me because most people who queue/group for those seem to know exactly what they're doing so they're incredibly quick and I get my daily done in ~15-minutes or less. Pretty sweet.
  5. So you were one of the toxic players that this was designed for? Bye Felicia.
  6. Also, could you look at the respawn timers for the broken pipes on the quest "Sharing Our Bounty?" Not sure if it was intended but the timer is ~5-minutes or so, and there were quite a few people gathered waiting around to click them.
  7. Man, people will find just about anything to complain about. As its been mentioned, you don't have to actually pull anything out - you can just flat out replace them at no cost. Even if you didn't though, making money in this game is just stupidly easy. You don't really even have to have a CS that manufacturers anything. Pick up Archaeology and Scavenging or any other gathering skill, harvest the nodes you come across and sell the raw mats on the GTN. You'll have more money than you know what to do with in no time. The amount of people saying they're "back" and then immediately quitting because of not having any money in this thread is laughable.

    6.1.4 PvP Changes

Sooo it looks like the Devs listened and implemented a bunch of changes that were asked for on these forums. Chris also took the time to explain the lockout timers yesterday: General -An Item Rating of 306 is now required to queue for Solo Ranked PvP matches. -Players can no longer Vote Kick other players from Solo Ranked PvP matches. -Players can no longer leave a PvP queue when there is a pending match being created for them. -Previously, if a player left a PvP queue they may have encountered an ‘instant decline’ under certain circumstances, resulting in rating loss and a lockout in Ranked queues. -The text for the “Introduction to Warzones” Mission will now correctly indicate it requires a Warzone victory to progress the Mission. -The Sith Sorcerer and Sith Assassin icons on the PvP Arena Scorecard are now represented by their correct colors. -The lockout timer for declining a match in Solo Ranked PvP has been increased, with additional time being added if there are multiple declines in a row. -Players will no longer be able to remove the “Deserter detection” debuff while remaining in one of the starting areas in the Rishi Cove arena, as intended. -Fixed an issue which could cause PvP and Group Finder groups to be split across multiple instances. -Players with a Deserter Penalty will not be able to use the Join Queue button when there is an active penalty. This prevents all PvP queueing (Unranked, Ranked and Galactic Starfighter) while the penalty is active -PvP Queuing will now require you to be the group leader to queue the group. -The Unranked Warzone button will no longer be active when a group has too many members to join the queue 1. They listened to the complaints about ilvl. 2. They implemented features to help mitigate disruptive players and queue dodging. 3. They helped minimize the effectiveness of Guard (to a certain extent). Can we give the devs a little shoutout for listening and implementing some of the stuff the community asked for?
  9. I'd be curious to know how many times I've gotten reported. I've had an active sub since launch (I think the longest I had it turned off was like 6-months if even that) and I've... uh... taken part in a few Fleet conversations I probably shouldn't have. I do curse and call people names but never anything that's bigotted or racist, so I got that going for me at least. Yeah... I should probably stop.
  10. Man, was it really a year ago? I could have sworn it was earlier this year but it has been a while That being said, it still doesn't seem - at least to me and just in my opinion - that duping mats (if there is a dupe exploit out right now) wouldn't be very profitable. It makes way more sense to have bots or farmers do it, especially since it's something that can be harvested in large quantities you know?
  11. The dupe exploit was fixed months ago and had to do with the way stuff was pulled out of cartel storage. Credits took a huge sh*t because the market was flooded with B/B, B/W, W/B and W/W dyes for sometimes less than a million credits. What I think we're seeing here is the game is simply popular enough again for farmers. There's not a monopoly and if they're selling stuff below market value buy it and sit on it.
  12. I'm actually glad this was brought back up again. I've been playing on and off since release. During this time I've made a bunch of different characters and gotten them through various parts of the story. My Marauder was my most recent main. I'm back after a recent break and hadn't gotten the opportunity to play Onslaught and wanted to check out the new story. I wasn't feeling my Marauder anymore so I switched back to my one character who started it all, my Assassin. However, I didn't want to go through KOTET/KOTFE or whatever they are again just to play the new expansion: I already did them on both my Mara and my Merc, so I decided to skip for the first time ever in playing the game. On my previous characters, I got through the whole arc with Senya and saved Arcann. Well, he's dead now. Same with Vette. I haven't really dived into my companions just yet to see who else is dead but I almost feel like the character is tainted now. I should have realized exactly what skipping was going to do but trusted that it would be done right. I've been looking around to see if I can replay some of the chapters or just reset the expansion to go back and make a different decision but it doesn't seem to be possible, and that's frustrating - especially for a story driven game like this one. So yeah, just a slightly different perspective I guess: I've already played the story, I've already done the other expansions, I just wanted to get my other character up to date and I feel like I was punished for it.
  13. I am so sorry, and I think I know what the answer is, but I have a Merc that I really love and enjoy but some of my buddies switched over to LS. I was going to make a Mando but in all of my searches it's only really been alluded to the fact that they're the same, other than the guns and animations. I just wanted to see if someone could 100% confirm it for me and it would be greatly appreciated. In fact, if all of the mirror classes are exactly the same and confirmed or at least the differences explained would be immensely helpful.
  14. I still can't buy cartel coins today.
