Mara snares are physical and can't be cleansed unless you're healing. I play lightning regularly but it requires us to stand still for too long. The problem is that against carnage we can't stand still for too long, when we do move we are snared, when we attempt to load a burst rotation (a good marauder) will vanish depending on the range or choke/roar if they're close enough.
If the vanish isn't used to break the burst rotation then it is used to break the knock back root that we use to get distance. Bubble stun is unpredictable and force slow only works so well when you yourself are slowed, and the hard stun will be broken by their cc breaker.
Everything we do in lightning, they can easily counter unfortunately.
