  2. Y'all ???? Not very professional is it?? Anyways it's good to see that we haven't been swept under the carpet and your looking further into things and whilst your looking into this thread it would be nice for you to be finding us a new Class Rep???
  3. So let me get this right and Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy with the replies either but ....... We asked our questions (scenarios) in a wall of text with little or no formatting and when we got replies that some wasn't wanting or expecting because imho we did kind of ask for too much in a roundabout way in the first three questions we had. (remember Rome wasn't built in a day) So instead of our class rep using his or her position to ask/clarify reasonings behind each reply and maybe try to get some real change to those replies, they decide to throw one of the largest "Emo-fits" on the planet and quit their position and spam the forums which any parent knows doesn't reward children with anything. Yep the Vanguard (and by default Powertech) is screwed!!! And let's hope the Hunter's have learnt from this debacle and ask more concise more realistic of getting something changed questions. /over to you Hunters!!

  6. Telling people not to use an ability when it only makes your life easier and less likely to cause problems is serious bad practice. If you know there isn't any mechanic that needs a taunt ie transition phase where boss wipes threat or you need to tank swap due to a debuff there is no reason NOT to use your taunts. On bosses where the timer for enrage vrs operations DPS are sooooo closely matched you need to time all your taunts at the start so the boss doesn't go wandering or one shotting a crit happy DPS'er. The rotation I usually use on bosses and its rare as rocking horse s**t that a DPS'er can take initial threat from me and they in turn love me for it. Battle Focus >> Mortar volley >> Storm (This is the Cue in my guild is to start DPS soon as they see me jump) >> Explosive Surge >> Sonic Round (Start mental counting) >> Explosive Surge >> Stockstrike >> High Impact Bolt >> Pulse Cannon >> Neural Jolt Reasons for this rotation is that BF will boost my initial DPS and in turn threat generation, a quick mortar volley whilst I or the operation leader is doing the countdown to pull and I storm in which is the point most of the DPS are starting up. Then I will hit 1x ES and then Sonic the boss, I do this because if I double surge before sonic some of our DPS can and have ripped treat from me even if they are guarded but on sonic I know for the next 6 seconds no matter how crit happy my DPS are or how much threat they generate I know the boss will stick to me like glue and do a five count (a bit risky due to lag chancing a 6 count) whilst going thro the rest of my staring rotation. Once I hit my NJ the boss will still be on me and even if in those first 5 seconds the DPS do indeed over take me on threat I know once that NJ hits I will be 130% ahead. Then I just go thro my usual rotation and unless there is a reason not to I will use Neural on CD and if there isn't any mobs wandering by I will weave in Sonic Round too. I am sure there are people now going **** what a crazed rotation or what a nub but it works for me and unless I have forgot to guard a DPS that Boss isn't going anywhere I don't want it too!! To sum this wall of text to this ..."Know your Fights, Know your abilities and don't be afraid of using them"

Belt > Alde Statesman's Sash Boots > Pristine Vindicator's Boots took ages to find something that matched the chest and didnt look either too shiney or to mish-mash but even now I'm still super happy with the look, only if i could be 110% happy with a good looking rifle (but that just me being retentive) I clean forgot I did this but I also did a end of class quest but I went for the "Full Dress" uniform or "Number 1's" since we were being presented to the number one honcho ^^ and being armed to the teeth with blood and guts splattered all over us isn't the correct thing in polite company http://i.imgur.com/gTbVn7V.jpg
  8. Recruiting 1-2 DPS for operation team, we wouldn't of course turn any application away if the applicant shows the special thingy** we are after ^^ ** It is down to you to decide what the special thingy is

  11. Does this mean we will have one more day so one more chance to kill XENO on Tuesday after any maintenance that might go ahead or will it go whilst any maintenance happens??.
  12. WTB Motar Volley/Death From Above with a zero casting range for it, so annoying when tanking you find it takes to long to get it to go "green" to actually bother using when you have your back against a wall ^^ (Yes I know it isn't much but the easiest ones will probably get fixed first)

Personally I use defence augments to get my defence in combination of gear and augs to hit 20% ATM I am 20.02% can't get any close to bang on 20% Then I use a mixture of Shield, Abosrb and End augs depending on how bosses feel, I like to have more End for fight for example Xeno-II HM when Thermal Tolerance hits you and your getting that nasty debuff and you can't get a pull or run fast enough to LOS it, that extra End does make the difference. Currently I am running around the 20% Def, 38% shield, 33% Absorb mark (give or take 1% on Sh,Ab as I am not home ATM) and the healers seem to be happy with the way my HP moves about on fights.
