  1. Hey folks, I played an Assassin tank way back between 2013-2015 and had completed every relevant NiM or HM raid at the time, including HM Revan. Recently decided to come back to the game, and have introduced my girlfriend to it as well. I'd like to find us a guild that checks the right boxes as far as hitting difficult content while also being accepting of newer players and having a culture that fits hers and my personalities. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
  2. Preferences > Controls > Deselect Target upon Clicking on Terrain You're welcome.
  3. What weapons are you referring to? Crystals are part of the min/max game...I'm 99% sure there are no weapons that are crystal-less, unless they're bugged. Or maybe level 1 white weapons.
  4. Giving gifts one at a time isn't the worst thing ever. You can't lose influence with companions like you could with affection, so even though it's a bit tedious you won't ever have to do it again once you max a companion out.
  5. +1, My highest influence companions are scattered all over the crew skill window. It's really annoying trying to see which ones are best suited to craft. I could memorize one character's best companions, but when you've got half a dozen or more alts with crew skills, it becomes a mess really fast. I'd also like them to add each companion's influence level to the crew skill tab as well. HK-51 and Talos both have about the same green bar as far influence goes, but HK is one level higher so I'd rather send him if I can help it. And one amazing tweak to tack onto that...would be changing the default ordering of your crafting skills. I have no idea why the default "Difficulty" is the way it is, but it has blue augments being listed at the top, and 36 augments listed above 40 augments. Changing the default ordering to "Rating" or "Level" would solve this, and probably stop people from having accidents crafting while they're speed cycling through characters to prepare for raiding. If nothing else, it makes the process more simplistic and less goofy looking.
  6. In World of Warcraft I had an addon that I could add timer bars for with short duration buffs and debuffs. When I switched to Star Wars it took a long time to get used to watching the buff bar, but I eventually got used to it. Highlighted procs were nice with 3.0, but it never addressed the issue of maximizing uptime on Dark Ward...so you either got used to watching your buffs or learned the timing on your own like clockwork. The new passive makes it impossible to track the latter way anymore, so I've just fallen back to the basics. Though it would be really nice if there was a way to lock it's position on my buff bar so my eyes don't have to dart across all of the little squares to find it. A fraction of a second can make all the difference in the world when you have a million other things to do.
  7. Really, it's BioWare's fault for the current state of Harbinger anyway. I knew when they made server transfers dirt cheap that it would eventually lead to overpopulation. The only two servers worth playing on these days are Shadowlands and Harbie. I feel like it'd have been a much smarter move to have consolidated the lightly populated servers into one to give the game 3 big American servers instead of 2, one of which is a highly populated server with a bad history of stability issues.
  8. Thank you to everyone that considered me. I have decided to join Provectus into 4.0 and see where the game takes me. I wish everyone the best of luck in their travels both in and out of game.
  9. Not at all, everything was quite civil. We just decided that my "reputation" and personality "quirks" would not be a good fit for their guild. It's entirely understandable.
  10. Still on the lookout. I guess you could say that <Failure> ended in failure. Har har, I crack myself up.
  11. My name is Vladishun. You may or may not know me as one of the more exuberant personalities that lurks in Fleet chat adding my two cents or stirring the pot on occasion. But that's not why I'm here. No, not today anyway. My main character since I started the game has been Vladishun, a cyborg in a pumpkin colored skirt that wields a double bladed lightsaber and takes hits to the face; which I guess is how I say that I'm an Assassin tank. As the title of the post says, I am currently 10 for 10 in the level 60 operations, having recently killed hard mode Revan with my last raid team. The reason for this post, is because my last team was a bunch of APAC players and I myself am a gun loving, freedom encouraging, flag waving, fat eating American; and as you can imagine, raiding on APAC times took its toll on my real life. But I stayed committed to my team until we accomplished everything we wanted to in this game. And while most of them are now on a break, I figured it was the best time to find a home for my Assassin with people that sleep at hours that are more in line with my own circadian rhythm. I won't go into my whole history with raiding in MMO's, I think the 10/10 HM clear speaks for itself at this point. If you want to see me in action, here's some food for thought: My first Revan kill with Epidemic: 2% on Core: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thf2htJHtoY (This one I'm just posting because I died early on in the Core phase of the kill video, and wanted to show that I don't always derp up.) Starparse for 2% Core: http://s16.photobucket.com/user/ProtoAuto/media/revan.png.html --- Feel free to shoot me a message in game, on here, or just whatever. I'm pretty much always around so I'm easy to get ahold of. Thank you for your consideration.

  13. I'd really like to know what they're doing to stop trolls from mass reporting messages and getting accounts squelched. Wasn't spamming, wasn't filling chat with emotes, wasn't sending tons of messages in quick succession. But I was in the middle of a pretty heated conversation with three people in general chat, then a few minutes later I couldn't type and they started acting all condescending with comments like, "Why are you so quiet now lolololol" and custom emotes such as ".... squelches you". I submitted a ticket about the issue and service rep tells me: "The short version is that it mainly works on /whispers, /tells etc. Your posting in general chat and being reported for spam won't get auto squelched though as normal it might get looked at by ourselves." So either their customer support has no idea how their own security systems work, or we've got people that have found another way to abuse the system. In any case, I just thought I'd bring it to the attention of the developers and the community. I am fully on board with them cutting the amount of credit spammers down, but not at the cost of losing my ability to communicate in a game that requires communication to get anything accomplished.
