  1. They always given on their Live Stream Events, various giveaway codes; those also usually last for 1-2 weeks following the live streams. They do announce the Live Stream on the Game Launcher, and even if you miss the event at that time, be sure to watch it within a few days and you'd be just fine.
  2. @AlacrityFitzhugh They work anywhere, yet sadly if you have your companion summoned you're not very likely to earn any... ...so you got to dismiss them, then go to low level planet. I mean they even "apparently" improved the drop rate of Dark Spores / Blueprint Fragments / etc... yet they still almost never drop, that is unless you use a Brrazz's Gift. Best strategy is go to a low level Planet like Starter Planet or Corruscant / Dromand Kass. Then find area where there are a lot of enemy around, and most closer together, as well as respawn quicker. Unfinished Colussus Dromand Kass is excellent area, where all the former slaves are as example; as they respawn in 30s. Run around that one loop area without your Companion active, then pause to heal up when you need, or use music thearapy probe, or kolto strike to heal. That's the best I can sadly offer, I've heard because it's random drop chance: in 60 minutes you could earn from 10 to 25 (on average) though more is possible! Just depends how focused you are, and how quickly and many enemy you can defeat, sadly 99% is mostly while your Companion is dismissed though. Good Luck!
  3. Yea I also tried, and like @SteveTheCynic would love them to return the Dark vs. Light Bosses on Planets! Dark vs. Light ended ages ago, add Rewards thru other means please... - Suggestion Box - SWTOR | Forums -- Only a limited few made it into game thru other means, mostly Darth Hexid & Master Ranos as shown in link attached; to best of my knowledge. Two different Dark vs. Light --Event (retired) in 2016 and one still shown as active from Dark vs. Light --World Bosses (still active, just not able to progress) ever since Dec 2021; and then the third system which retired in 7.0 when earning objectives also took away Dark or Light Tokens as well. I too like to see a method to earn some of those items for people who previously never had the chance...
  4. Yes I agree, I always thought when Level 80 was introduced they might at least increase this to 9 or possibly 11; yet given many crafters gather on 2, 3, or 4 or more toons, guess they figured this was not required... I wasn't expecting a large increase, yet point is valid we have a lot more Companions, that we even come close to requiring. Something new to do with Companions would also be interesting, just like they are trying with Ventures in how we acquire them...
  5. Try to REPAIR your installation, after you login you may see an option to select that; usually occurs after a crash or if something appears not quite right.
  6. It most often occurs in GSF, though very rarely you mouse pointer disappears in a Flashpoint; sadly you can screenshot it because Mouse Pointer isn't shown! So you want to exit GSF or Flashpoint (far less rarely it occurs there) as I mostly only experience this in GSF, I think it's only happened but once or twice in a Flashpoint in all the year's I've played.
  7. Lately it's only moved &/or been made even larger in the last month... Be really nice to finally see this put to bed and fixed, given it's been there for like years, as others have confirmed... To best of my knowledge, this graphic glitch / bug doesn't occur on Imperial Fleet around the Quick Travel marker, or I've never seen it. Note it often does this after first login, as you approach from coming up the stairs; once you've seen it can strangely disapear. Hopefully they fully test the surrounding area before quietly fixing this, it alo be nice to see in patch notes too! I don't believe I've seen this same bug on Imperial Fleet, despite it's just a mirror. Note: It's very obvious as I've faded one layer so Developers have reference for grid location is, see secondary image for true appearance! Imperial Fleet does not have this glitch, I assume as noted at close, because Quick Travel is placed closer toward Catina on a lower layer? @CommunityTeam Without the image showing me in exact same spot, just turned slightly to the left, only as my speeder breaks the red border area do normal tiles return. Yet it only does this within this approximate area, so it's very easy to duplicate on almost every character (most) often. Please FIX this! This can also sometimes hide your Mounts too! It does not do this on Imperial Fleet, I suspect Quick Travel is further back, on a lower level; yet not sure the cause on Republic side.
  8. Granted, that's a very fair comment, yet still what about the +40,000 points a new Character starting at Level 80 with Master's Datacron & Equipment has? Also Jeevic hasn't ever worried about this and it's been that way for 5+ years... While many Crystal's he sells require Level 50 not Level 10, there is one that you can use right away at Level 1... ...why @cannibithobbal said make all Crystal's Level 1. "Advanced Black=Green War Hero's Crystal" as @Luciferior stated, and while you can't travel to Fleet early on, you can travel to Stronghold; exit to Fleet, buy the crystal then take the shuttle back to Tython, Korriban, Ord Mantel, Hutta. And yes he mentioned others at Level 1 with Mastery from PvP Vendor as well. Now the +82 doesn't seem like a big deal given scaling changes several years ago, and Master's Datacron also fully unlocks all your abilities which is a far greater advantage for those on Starting Planets, rather than being limited to 3, or 4 perhaps at the start! Yet it's goal is to allow New Player's to practice their rotations for a Class they've perhaps never played before as they level. Still a vast majority of players just want to setup how their Gear looks... so their character is just right before they start to grow them, as that encourages them to play them more! It's why most use outfitter to place their favority Store outfit.
  9. I mean that argument kind of makes sense, while we do earn some for specific area's, most new are limited to only 10 or 25 Influence at best. Also it seems in the last Live Stream, they talked about taking Companions out of Seasons, yet they will instead offer one like Basilisk Companion named B3-S1 "Bessie"; this will be thru a new system coming in 7.5.1 called Ventures. We'll have to wait and see how that develops over time, and how often that updates, yet I suspect most of those Companions will be able to grow to 50.
  10. You'll be disapointed... While it still says Grade 7 in the drop-down, if you read the missions "below" after you click the next Companion; the Missions are actually Level 11, which is why the time they take is longer too. Don't get me wrong, I wished it would work the way you'd like it too; because I also dislike the Green method showed (above) in previous post! ☹️ So you aren't getting what you think you are, only the very first gathering task will be your desired Level.
  11. @GrizzlyUK also check to make sure your "email" is correct under: https://account.swtor.com/en This can also prevent the payment from being processed, if not I'd also try calling SWTOR Monday morning as they could give more info about why it's not processed. 12. It only works if you use the drop-down (green) for changing companions, if you manually click each character gathering task (red) it always resets to the highest you've unlocked Grade 11. I think that's what @SteveTheCynic was trying to say...
  13. Exactly, or have a system where you go Alphabetically for all your 80 level Characters; so it's easy to manage. I agree with @Darcmoon comment too! For those who are running conquest on more than 12 Character's, figure out your own system that works! After all if you earning that many Tech Frag's, etc... it shouldn't be their job to make yours even easier.
  14. Yes, but that's also specific to Player vs. Player and mostly relates to attacking opposing Faction Base, those also only require 20. The reason that # is so low, is since "Guard Droids" or "Turrets" at Republic or Imperial Bases are extremely strong, and are exclusively Champion Level which only applies to PvP not PvE instances. Still I appreciate the feedback, yet I've checked and they still all match the description here: "Defeated 500 combatants aligned with House Thul / Ulgo of Strong Difficulty, and 100 of Elite or Champion difficulty" does not specify Species, Class, or Droid. While several planets have Droids; Alderaan does not, like Balmorra, Belsavis, etc... the exception is only PvP as I said above, and it's very small! Alderaan Politics (which is where the House Risk, House Ulgo, House Organa, & House Thul) is located. House Risk Standard or Strong (doesn't specify what kind) House Ulgo Strong or Better (doesn't specify what kind) & should include droids if they Strong. House Organa Strong or Better (doesn't specify what kind) & should include droids if they Strong. House Thul Strong or Better (doesn't specify what kind) & should include droids if they Strong. There is no Defeat Droids for PvE like the following Planets have: Balmorra, Belsavis, etc... Player vs. Player (only one to Contain Droids) specifically "Guard Droids" or "Turrets" which only exist inside Republic or Imperial Bases of Champion Level. Which is why I'd strongly suggest they consider all the House Ulgo or House Thul to provide enough Strong, Elite, or Champion Level given so few exist! Will they FIX this, who knows all I can do is suggest it because all those listed above match the requirements they themselves set.
  15. Yea that was my point as well, given that a newly created Character can buy Master's Datacron and be promoted to 80, with a full set of Gear; all abilities unlocked...
