  1. This, please. This feature was a huge QoL. Bring it back please. I don't know if it's exploit related tho. You can still change loadout with gear if you have it in inventory.
  2. It's not only a matter of armor type, at least for the ones in legacy vendors. I play Scoundrel as Imperial Agent, which is just a mirror style. Still, I am unable to equip it. Says "You do not have the required class to use that item". Which is kinda shame, all my agents use the Agent's Birthright Jacket with black & black dye. I can use the Smuggler's Birthright Jacket tho.
  3. I like the new character creation feel but I don't like there is no continuity with rest of the game, eg. character selection, UI in game, compared to live version. Allegiance I really like the blue/red effect, but I think the logos could be bigger, looks too empty. Not a fan of the black circles, when you hover over them it looks better (because the red/blue line blurs) but not by much, shadow only would look better so it stands out with the same colored background. I hate the aliased lines that are on almost everything and the thing that you can still see this on live version in the daily login scares me. Damn, that effect when you choose, love it, but I really think it would look better bigger. Origin The "show off" for combat styles is really nice touch, but feels like Juggernaut and Guardian are lacking compared to others. When choosing the Origins, combat styles are not in the same order which is even more apparent for tech styles and on Republic side it's a complete chaos, you mix original imperial with republic on the same row. For force classes it lists the 2 original combat styles 1st but still manages to switch mirror in different order on each faction. EMPIRE Sith Warrior Sith Inquisitor Agent probably in the order it should look like and makes sense, mirrors are under. Bounty Hunter completely different, gun styles are under. REPUBLIC Jedi Knight Jedi Consular Smuggler mixing republic and empire side on a row, gun styles under. Trooper same as above. When switching from combat style to origin story, the previous description stays instead. Which you can actually see on most of my screenshots. In this screenshot I switched from Vanguard under Bounty Hunter to Agent, Scoundrel as auto-pick, Vanguard description stays. No indication of mirrors, that could be confusing and disappointing for new players. Shadow/Assassin description: Infiltration/Deception is marked as ranged + only Hatred/Serenity has stealth mentioned. Customize Species icons don't fit in the theme, especially not on Empire. Lighting seems good considering it's a dark background.
  4. I don't think they gonna revert it back, but it definitely could use some improvements. I really hope the amplifiers being not collapsible right now is just because it's new, so when we open it screams at us "you should upgrade and make it match to gold" except you, amplified piece.I hope they planned to change it later on by themselves. It's too big and very unnecessary. So this, just why? And just now I found out if you click the "character" tab, it switches to your currently equipped outfit while seeing your gear, so it might be a bug what we have right now. Please be. While it makes sense in a way to move weapons under gloves, since you know, you hold them. It does not make sense with how the classes work and how you store gear. This game is very alt friendly, I switch toons a lot. With the factions having a mostly different weapon setup on the same class it doesn't make sense to store gear in an order how I unequip it or if having non legacy weapons on char I have to skip them to unequip the rest. Even if you were planning to add weapons to outfit designer, some classes share weapons. Making it convenient to store weapons at the end or separately, not in the middle of your set gear.
  5. I thought of that at 1st too, but not the case, unfortunately for me it happens more often than not
  6. On Tatooine, the big jump over the sandcrawler, sometimes you just drive straight getting stuck in the sandcrawler. The jump still gets registered tho if you run as Pit Screamers. Same happens on Onderon on the second big jump, at least not getting stuck there tho.
  7. This was too funny not to share. Kaon MM. The healer (sage) was obviously new to the game, kept pushing trash with force wave. I then pointed out not to use it as they will die slower that way, still kept doing it. So I jokingly said he should be using force quake as it looks way cooler, unfortunately to no avail. After the "turret boss" tank (shadow) said he hopes the healer will heal more and dps less for next bosses. The Behemoth was really close, luckily we had really good dps. Now the funny part! Bonus boss. Healer couldn't keep up, he was obviously still clueless. We wiped. Healer was told only to heal. We pull, get him to like 30 %. Suddenly I notice the boss is on me and I see the tank using lampost regen. When he had enough hp, taunted it off of me and we killed the damn robot. Funniest thing I've seen in a while . We finished the last boss with just the healer dead, he released and pulled all he could on the way. We all agreed but the healer that it was really unusual run.
  8. If it were the Korslugs, the explanation is quite easy why he was doing so. There're small and big ones. If a big one dies among the small ones, they get bigger and do more damage. Probably not necessary on storymode, I don't know, haven't done it since 4.0 on SM.
  9. Nexu Kell Dragon Krayt Dragon Wheelbike III episode *-* I kind of agree with that. Add more mounts or pets or whatever like the tauntaun on Hoth, Sleen from the BBA event, mounts from seeker droid, aratechs for ops and wbs, raghoul event mounts (can't wait to finally have it ), mounts for legend reputation, czerka dessler rare drop, the big box mount for Kdy construction kits and of course like (rare) drops in the ops (yeah, really trying to write them all down ), cartel market is fine but if you have to earn it somehow you're more proud of that item. It's not like they're not doing it, but could be more of it
  10. In my opinion CD-33 blaster rifle is the best looking on the cartel market but the sound is just awful, really not pleasing to hear... unfortunatelly for most of the guns on cm On my operative I use Imperial Operative's rifle, from the rifles in game i like it the best but it's like something is missing there.. also on back it looks a bit weird. I found that it has the best sound for me. There's also M-500 Nova Disingerator it's very similar, i like the idea of butt there, looks more practical, but it looks too robust and on back it looks even weirder
  11. It's a tactic, once he stuns you - be prepared to taunt him, you cannot avoid it. Also the 'dogs' cannot be near the boss, if so he will buff them (the red cycle) and they will do more dmg. Target them one dog, it works for me
  12. Your companions have bonuses for crew skills. Look up what they are, it may spoiler you something though. Also if companions have full affection it adds more to the bonus they already have, so will bring rare items more often. If you want just sell what you find through leveling, they're already mentioned but it's long and boring process:P more on the companions http://dulfy.net/2012/04/22/companion-gifts-and-crafting-bonuses-for-1-2/
  13. http://www.swtorista.com/outfit?id=419 http://www.google.com/images?q=swtor+dark+initiate's+robe&client=ms-opera-mini-android&channel=new&gws_rd=cr&hl=cs&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ei=xOnXUo36DOeQ0AW94YDoBg&ved=0CBAQsAQ sorry for the mess I'm on my phone... Well maybe now Kaliyo keeps aggro on everythig, don't know your level though, but I'm assuming low one due to BT armor. But later she won't, companion tanks are not perfect (nor the real ones ) and later in the game it may save your butt, the same goes for flaspoints, even if the tank is doing his job, you will take damage... Well my point is it's not recommended, but it's your call
  14. This is not true, even light, medium and heavy armor have orange (purple) shells. Right under the name of the armor it says what kind it is. To OP... but he has kind of a point, if you don't like the look of medium armors you can check the adaptive ones (galactic market, reputation or legacy vendors), there're so much of them you can be lucky to find similar... they didn't separate it just for fun, it makes you harder to kill, even though you think now it's ok, later in the game it's harder
  15. I was a witness to this case too, on a lower level though. We've explained it works differently here and then realized what willpower is in other games... It's just willpower is known to be for mages. Shadows are more like rogues with tanking skill. When I started to play this game I thought I will have more force
