  1. You know what they say, "squeaky wheel gets the grease". The only way things ever change is customers being persistent and this is one item type that is absurdly rare and likewise absurdly priced on the server markets for something that basically has a similar purpose to Cartel Market color crystals. I see tunings as basically as only an aesthetic item. There is absolutely no reason not to have them within collections as they give no unfair bonuses, and most people do not want to drop 20-60 million to tunings for each of their characters, or companions if you decide to deck them out.
  2. Dropping 45million credits so just one character can use a lightning tuning is a shame. Especially when you are starting to add more and more tunings. They should be considered similar to color crystals and be part of collection.
  3. This, so much this post! I bought several cartel coin cards yesterday before I had seen these posts and the associated nerfs that had happened to the cartel packs. I feel the risk of investing my money in Hyperpacks is no longer worth the reward. It used to be you were at least guaranteed a rare or super rare per pack, but that no longer seems to be the case. Also no more Cartel Certs???? Are you kidding??? Those are the only means of aquiring some items like primary black and secondary black dyes... which I use on my characters on their companions. What's that you say? There is a new pack that allows me to gamble from the entirety of your cartel dye pool? Yea, I'm not going to even play that roulette game. The options I see are either a) lower the costs of these packs substantially and re-add things like cartel certs, and the chance at more item rolls ( ie one rare/super rare and a rare/uncommon item per pack) or b) start putting all your cartel pack armors on the market for a fixed fee (600-1400cc depending on rarity level) and start selling cartel certs (~200cc) so that we may put our funds toward the items and goals we want.
  4. Bump because we need Nihilus robes!!!
  5. More funding??? are you serious? Do you understand the killing they make on the Cartel Market? They have plenty of funding for the number of players they are supporting, considering most that play this game p2p and not f2p it.
  6. Honestly I couldn't care less if the player races actually speak basic. Let them talk in the garbled pseudo languages they use on the npcs.. It's fine by me, there is text you can read, and since most people skip over the convo anyhow.... it should not be an issue. Togruta isn't my primary choice, I'd much rather see Selkath become playable.
  7. What I really hate is that I got everything I need for the Cyan Sphere mount but I can't buy it because I don't have the Gree faction! Why the hell would you put an item up on a limited time vendor when the faction you need can't be raised for another six months?! Are you fricken serious??? Please either remove these stupid factions and their tiers or put permanent ways to raise them in the game. It's the same thing that drives me nuts with the cartel bazaar. 80% of the stuff there can't be bought because the factions are tied to cartel packs that are not in circulation anymore, or have individual sales for ridiculous amounts on the gtn that don't give much rep to begin with.
  8. You aren't missing anything really.
  9. Please for the love of God get rid of the rep requirements on the items in the Cartel vendor area. I've accumulated enough cartel market certs to get gear/items I want from the vendors but can't purchase them since I don't have the proper level of reputation. This is friggen frustrating as a subscriber to your game when I am stone walled w/o the opportunity to earn the rep via quests/mob kills, and can only earn it if I spend more money on the packs which don't even give a set amount of rep per pack. It's been over a year since reputations like Contraband Resale Corp have been around, please consider removing those reputation requirements after a given amount of time. This milking me for every rl dollar you can makes this game a chore and no longer fun.
  10. This is what is burning me out on the game, I'm also a founder, never got around to getting these packs as I just don't have the money to burn, I've used the monthly amount of CC to purchase what I can but I have absolutely no chance of getting the gear I'd like to get on the Contraband Resale vendors, since I don't have any means of building reputation with them. Please either put a different method of earning reputation with these guys or just do away with the reputation requirements after a certain period of time.
  11. So what do you do when the GTN is barebones dry of them. I'd like to pick up an Aratech Eclipse on my Operative but seeing as I came back to game long after this pack was done I'm now screwed and can't obtain the item on my own, because I have no means of building faction. *** over Bioware?
  12. That and the Dathomir robe looks horrible as a Nihilus replacement robe, the one that comes closest with the raggedy look is the Ghostly Robes from this Halloween sales dyed black/black, the shoulders and sleeves are just off.
  13. I just checked, it actually still doesn't match as the mask itself cannot be dyed and is more of a bluish-black hue.
  14. Bumping this dead thread, since we are still waiting for the rest of the set =(. It's a shame also you guys made it so the mask doesn't dye at all. None of the black dyes/robes currently match the color properly. It's a small thing, but an annoyance.
