  1. Not if I'm passed that point in the story...I am not dealing with SIS at this point but with a cathar and a Darth. I can't even remember seeing the SIS. That bug fix is why I asked. This is something like the third time they messed up saboteur and its a BAD mess up each time because you can't go replay it. It's not enough to say oops better late than never. Or even that you won't get dinged really. I've missed part of the story I should've been playing.
  2. My saboteur is at the end of the Kessan's Landing. He hasn't had the last convo with the cathar woman, nor the Darth. But he's most of the way through. There at the end I decided something was WRONG because the last convo showed no sign he was going to resist cooperating in overthrowing the Republic there. Is he going to lose his saboteur status? We really need the option to start these quests over or a guarantee we won't lose that if they are going to keep having these glitches.
  3. By this I mean my agent tried it (first of mine to do so) and to my surprise it did indeed continue as far at least as Yavin 4. But I wondered if it got dropped in later or expansions? I know saboteur is available because I have a character that took that and they keep bugging it up. But what about that original arc if you choose to keep working with Arden Kohl?
  4. Well I was afraid of this. Second time it's happened. The question to me is WHERE is this option supposed to be. If it's early on I will have missed it. If it's toward the end, I got suspicious at what I THINK might be the last convo. It felt wrong so I escaped out of it. If it's during that convo I'm ok. But I don't want my agent forced out of saboteur. And I'm frustrated they keep seeing this as an afterthought: they HAVE to know by the time people catch it, it's probably too late unless they are going to give us a 'redo' option.
  5. I know some people are all in the new stuff but some prefer the old. And KOTOR was a big part of the background of swtor, and has many armors and stuff. But if I want to find THOSE (rather than the new tv stuff) I don't have a tab, I have to hunt. How about a tab for the KOTOR & KOTOR 2 stuff?
  6. Ah that's better. Well finishing the story didn't do it. But fortunately I logged out overnight before giving up. I login the next day and the option is available! So either log out/login after the quest fixed it (in which case I think the holo pops up way too soon) or waiting overnight kicked something in. I honestly don't remember what I said to her when talking to Malgus on this character. Be interesting to see how it goes on the other 2 end game characters I have.
  7. I'm getting a call from her in the new content but 1 of the 4 options is not selectable. It's the 'Shae' question. I had to leave the tunnels before completing the quest and log out. I logged in and had the holocall. I thought maybe there was something that needed to trigger in the tunnels, and once in there I did get a call from Rass about Shae. I thought that might be it, but the option is still faded out. I've run all through the mission there and the thing still isn't selectable. I really wanted to hit that option and get the idea I'm supposed to be able to. Does anyone else have this issue?
  8. You summed it up perfectly. I don't want a single item they are pushing. The only items I'm interested in on that list I already own!
  9. You just guaranteed I'd not buy anything. There is nothing I want or don't have on that list and I always look forward to and save up for the collection unlocks. I'm a longtime subscriber.
  10. I didn't just get disconnected. Mine took 10 minutes to login. All I wanted was to set conquest goals! I tried 2 other characters and it was fine, but that one? Couldn't get in. Couldn't travel when he was in. And got kicked out!
  11. agreed. I've waited forever for steeds like Ronto and Eopie. I've wanted outfits from the Expanded Universe (inspired by at least) or pets. I'm tired of seeing the interests of those of us who joined because it was part of the Expanded Universe getting thrown under the bus for Disney players. I've subbed for years. If they think everyone just is happy to accept new Disney stuff in place of the old lore of the Lucas movies and so on, they are very much mistaken. I've been giving them the benefit of the doubt but after all this time, this last year has me teetering on the edge of unsubscribing because I'm so disappointed. We are being pushed out just like we got on the books and comics - only this is worse. This was OUR game. Set IN that universe. Disney LFL flat admitted it wasn't Disney canon. It couldn't be as it was developed before they bought it. This game was founded on KOTOR and Tales of the Jedi. Future events in the EU had ties. Dawn of the Jedi ties to the Jedi Consular story and hints at the formation of the Jedi. Why are the roots of the game ignored for those who cast those stories aside in the first place?! and its not just me...I'm in a guild that was entirely made of expanded universe fans. It's seriously dwindled due to things like this. People have stopped subbing or even logging in. Bare minimum they could do both. But they aren't even doing that much.
  12. Just saw this thread but haven't read all of it. But I thought I'd make an observation: I have no idea how it works but the whole 'let the player choose difficulty' thing has just been implemented in Lord of the Rings Online. Given that the game is older, you'd think SWTOR could do it too. It seems to me that game has in some ways been given a lot more dev love than SWTOR....or maybe, it's the company that refused to reinvest its earnings back into it that didn't give it the love. Says something that an older game has figured it out.
  13. Nope. The voice acting and cut scenes made SWTOR stand out from other games that you had to read all the quests. I think they went a bit OVERBOARD with the cut scenes in KOTET and KOTFE (as in, sometimes it felt like more cut scene than actual playing) but if I wanted the black bar treatment I'd just play KOTOR or KOTOR 2.
  14. It's the starter planets that are the real issue. I've got plenty of characters on 2 servers. It wasn't until I tried the Cloud test server that I squawked at the ABSURD price on the starter planet. It's ridiculous because you WANT new players. And new players don't have the money there. And of course, a long timer like me has an edge: on my regular servers I can shoot over to the stronghold and grab credits. New people can't. Otherwise, I don't really mind the tourist route (unless I have to fight through a bunch of enemies a second time I've no time for. But like I said, I've got the credits. New players don't)
