  1. well, long story short. im looking at the cartel market and the image for the new pack shows what i assume to be arcann's mask in the background. so i look up the battler pack in the collections interface and there is no mention at all of arcann's mask or cyborg arm at all. in which case,i fail to see the point of putting that perticular item in the advertisement image in the cartel market, considering as far as i can tell, the pack display images have only ever shown things you can get with the pack
  2. scorpio takes over the eternal throne, the portion of the fleet arcann still has heads for odessen
  3. no,.its not going down the drain.infact that is an illusion born by general discontent. even back when i first got my CE box in 2012 from amazon, and first joined the forums.people were using your..exact..same...words only shortly after the game launched and now we are here,2016,and people are still using your..exact..same...words so that leaves two possibilitys 1.this game has been in a perpetual state of distress since its inception, while possible this does not exclude point 2 2.people always have greif about something these days, and so they, like water following the path of least work and least resistence, use there life's woes as an excuse to sling mud at hwatever game/country/political party suits there fancy.psychologically this is called "projecting".it is a flaw of human nature,it also demonstrates how simplicity is a fabrication of the human mind, when met with something that has grown beyond what there willing to accept.case in point "older folk of today complain that today's society has no morals, and claim the world would be perfect if it were simply turned back to the era of elvis music.yet many "older" people alvie at elvis's "golden age" were claiming that his "vile music" was corrupting and bringing a downfall to the morals of society" so you can see how that demonstrates most forms of nostalgia-as-excuse-to-attack-whats-convenient are infact fabrications, flaws of human nature nostalgia for nostalgia's sake is fine however,a vice i frequently indulge in
  4. >.> just my luck,i ask two questions and this turns into a nostalgia-fest. people seem to forget that i played the game just afew months after it launched.it was far worse back then. there was literally 0 that was better in may of 2012 than now.i can say that because i was there
  5. first off in the itemized: 1.CE 2012,was gone for four years after i had gotten my first char to lvl 47 in 2012,the episode 7 movie brought me back into the fold 2.having lots of fun, overall im very impressed with the game, never run dry of things to do 3.i have been back for awhile,(since episode 7 came out on amazon video) 4.the preveiw image for knights of the eternal throne, who is the character fixing to fight senya?i doubt its vahlin, this character has heavier armor, and lots of tatoos, plus vahlin always uses a lightsaber, this character doesnt
  6. :/ as for me....i have no depth perception...literally....which is why i have a penchant for videogames,as its a 3 dimensional world presented on a 2 dimensional interface,so that why im able to use parralax and motion type depth perception rather than what most people use which is binocular depth perception i also happen to be mostly colorblind in low light conditions what can i say,i have a very well lit apartment and a very big e422vl vizio tv i also have cruddy contrast differenteation....meaning if colors are extremely similar in shade i can hardly tell them apart (applys to all light conditions)...usually meaning i have to have my sister point out the glowing blue interactive objects ingame when it happens to be in a blue area but its cool, ive found ways around it,and it doesnt impede me a huge amount (helps when outside, that i have sensitive hearing)
  7. that would be a valid point if it wasnt for the fact that our char models on here dont seem to have fluid physics in place... on a side note though....seriously..this graphical model oversight is really simple to fix...given access to the machinery, even i could fix it easy...and i have relatively little experience with 3d models....its all just a matter of scaling down the invisible object model in that area (graphical skin and graphical model are two different things)
  8. i dont think anyone understands it...everything you see around you today ingame, took quite afew years to build..heck,doom 3 on the xbox took 4 years to build...so its perfectly natural for a game to be like this under these conditions i mean sure you could have all these things...but not a single person here, and certainly not the person that made the quoted reveiw....seem to understand just how much work it takes...you wanna wait an extra 4 years?be my guest, but im guessing that wont happen on an mmo i played a few years back, right after they modifyed the ruleset to allow for visual mods only...a flurry of new mods were developed by the player base,it went over quite well....i got into this modding myself it took me 3 and a half months to learn how to change my characters weapon from sort sort of magic staff into a cartoonish looking lightsaber...and that was with having prior experience in game modding.. most of the time was taken up with bug fixing....you wouldnt beleive how many times i ended up with the lightsaber blade floating at an odd angle up above the hilt,or going through my character`s head it ended up requiring alot of headaches, coffee, and math/number crunching to get it to work right so logically,if it takes someone 3 and a half months to figure that out,and develope one tiny little weapon stilt thing... just how much work do you think goes into making these things you ask for?all of your ideas about ea and bioware being lazy are a complete illusion....the fact is that they dont really force you to buy anything..its your choice not to buy,and there are plenty of fine star wars games out there, albeit most single player games, with fun and rewarding multiplayer game types...some with game mods to enhance that....ea,and not to mention bioware, are straight to the point, quite rich....and have made many games (dont badger me about the stock price....give me one article about ea stock price related to tor and ill spam you with articles about the overall drag in the economy thats ongoing,or how the mmo industry as a whole is changing).....if people werent satisfied with ea and bioware..the neither of them would have a penny... this is the rule of capitalism....you dont have to buy, there are always alternatives....and if you do buy, your responsible most of the time seeing as you shouldve known what you were getting yourself into...and seeing as not a single person on these entire forums..save for the staff themselves, actually have there own game developement company....or are rich at all capitalism basically says ea and bioware are smarter and more clever than 95% of you guys,(the 95% including me)....because thats basically how as a service/product providing company, you become rich...satisfieing some need or emotional desire of your customer base....and then you become nearly invulnerable one you figure out that the customers who bought into your experience as provided....are infact mandated to do there research before they sign up with your offerings..its called "responsible consumerism" and i estimate an 87% likelyhood someone will bring up an article or two from some sort of game reveiw site to attempt to thwart my statement of truth but unfortunately that wont work either....most of those game reveiw sites dont sell actual products (or are very limited in that respect)...it takes alot of money to run there servers and maintain there web infastructure....so they basically make money the same way facebook does...with this equation money ad companys will pay to put ads on your site + multiplyed on some level by the amount of users your site has+ attention grabbing stories which may or may not be 100% reliable to keep users on your sites= profit so hence almost all game reveiw sites are biased 100% in every single direction..there only objective in life is to write articles which will whip up the emotions in there user base...and thus keep them using the site, and thus generating the site more profit....and light hearted hope generating articles generate far less of that lucrative emotion than end of the world/sky is falling articles...darkside emotions (which include excitement, lust, and or euphoria,in addition to the usual) are far more prevalent and powerfull in irl society, and tend to last alot longer...heck,just take a look at msn.com every so often and youll see what i mean, sometimes in a rather unpleasently direct fashion o.o so the message here is get your mind out of internet mode, and look at the real world for awhile, better yet..read a book on tax law,and youll see why it takes longer than you want to add new and exciting things
  9. indeed....puts more thought to unity as was and still be wanted....but takes kink of slow time away
  10. mmmmh,i have a thought make it auto cast like you wish, but you must target other player to cast it on anyone but yourself
  11. niet.....i have quite afew alts now...with my 47 inquisitor underpinning my legacy....some alts of the same class but different advanced...so i know from experience the not your class-class buff does effect significant remember i reference the human floods that will be nigh when f2p comes, new people, not strong.... i reference in no way the people as of now....that issue has already been said
  12. not really moot...this is the state of game as now..logically when f2p hit...then more people, new, whether pay or neine....lots of people new not vested to billius with legacy ad infinitum like now so these new, would become more powerfull than should...ruining little game mechanic left
  13. ni...with thine f2p the gates will flood....people everywhere ad nauseam (whether they pay or not or just chat).... automatic buff everyone, means everyone buffed, everywhere, allways, uber alles... it would discourage people to have, flicker of kind, that engender wish to buff other
  14. im with shingara here..its why i put "knights of the old republic-sub" since may 2012 in my signature it implys that by keeping my sub im a defender of the realm of sorts....cause a sub is far more consistent and reliable income for a company than something that wavers with the wind like f2p purchases
