  1. Is there any chance we can get some directions for customer service to be able to refund those of us who are reporting failed transactions to them,? The current response of "Unfortunately as this is a known issue we are unable to assist you" is quite frustrating
  2. I don't think anyone is really expecting customer service to fix bugs, or even hold them responsible for them. But it would seem to me that a reasonable person would expect on encountering a bug that customer service would be able to assist with that. Assisting a player who encounters a bug should include things like moving a character past a bugged point, or back to its beginning with knowledge of how to not trigger the bug again. (Game working as intended, research forums for workaround, not really an appropriate response) Assisting a player who opens a box which contains nothing, should result in the player being grated a new unopened box, with perhaps the advice that because of the bug they should open it at a later time, once the issue is corrected, or an item that box could have dropped granted to them. (Know issue, ticket closed, again not really an appropriate response) Assisting a player who has paid for an item in game and not received anything for said payment should be assisted by granting the item purchased, or a refund of the purchase price perhaps with the advice that this transaction is bugged and to not attempted it again until its been patched (Game working as intended, submit a bug report and known issue can't assist, are all responses which one should not reasonably expect to happen) Players who create their own issues, by deleting their own gear mistake are receiving assistance which is great. I too have received more help than I expected from a problem I created for myself with a character transfer and forgetting to open its mail. Meanwhile players who are encountering bugs are being left with tickets requesting assistance closed because the issue is known, and as such no help can be given. I don't think that is reasonable at all.
  3. That is part of what I don't understand, if a player makes a mistake using game systems as intended it seems customer service has the power to correct it for them, which is nice. But if a game system is not working they are unable to assist with what ever issue you are reporting.
  4. I'm curious if their function can be reasonably explained. The reason I ask is because I submited a ticket about one month ago about an issue and it was closed telling me it was a known issue. Well thats helpful to know but dosent help me. As the issue related to a purchase in game that cost tech fragments and credits, for which I got literally nothing, I asked for a refund of those lost items. This issue was investigated by customer service and their conclusion was that the game was working as intended and if I thought it was a bug I should submit it as a bug report. I again tested this transaction and for my trouble again lost my fragments and credits for no return and submitted a report. While I got no response myself, someone else posted a report detailing the same issue which did get a response indicating it was a known issue and it was added to the long list of known issues in the list posted on these forums. Now having conformation of this known issue from the development team I once again asked for refunds of the failed transactions. The response to this request is that customer service can't help because it is a known issue... If customer service cant help with a problem because it isnt a problem, though it really sounds like one, and cant help with a problem because its known to be a problem. What are they for?
  5. If the grind for the gear is what is making you enjoy this game, what will you do once you have it? Seems to me if you aren't having fun with out chasing gear there is a a much larger problem, the game content is not fun for you. Personally I prefer to play the aspects of the game I enjoy some of those are challenging, others less so, but chasing after the next piece of gear is distinctly unenjoyable for me. Running heroics or flashpoints to be able to upgrade operations gear imo is a poor design. In some respects 7.0 does harken back to the games origin. The end game feels like a chore, log in do the prescribed content, then perhaps do something fun. The years prior to 7.0 there had been a solid move toward getting people to do what they enjoyed in the game, by rewarding players for doing almost anything, lowering barriers to entering content, and in some case simplifying content to the point of making it mind numbing for those seeking any kind of challenge ( good for some, really not for others, but there was always harder content available than SM). The idea that 7.0 is the best in the games history is almost laughable because at any time in the game history there has been a state that did what ever you like about it better.
  6. I see a few other people here reporting issues with the vendor, though only recieving duplicates is the least of my issues. I was infact also getting some new pieces while holding almost all generic sets and regularly obtainable class set items in my cargo hold. My primary issue was actually getting literally nothing from the vendor transaction. It takes my credits and tech fragments and returns nothing.
  7. I submited tickets on this issue a week or so back. Was told it's a bug, but then they didnt return my credits or tech fragments. I asked specifically for the refund because of the bug only to be told the game is working as intended, but that I should post it as a bug, which last time I checked was sitting on about page 4 here, with no response or acknowledgment. Please let me know if you have any better luck since CS now just closes my tickets with no reply at all.
  8. Hello, on the 16th of February at approximately 05.14am est I bought several boxes [unidentified onslaught set bonus gear] from Kai Zyyken, sometimes I was granted an item eg [Commet Champion's Headgear] sometimes I was given nothing at all. I requsted help with this issue via an in game ticket #38716946 This ticket was closed letting me know this problem was a bug and that it will be fixed in a future update. I was not refunded my credits or tech fragments nor granted any of the items I should have been given from the purchase of the boxes. I submitted another ticket # 38729094 requesting my tech fragments and credits at least be refunded. This ticket was closed informing me that my case was reviewed and that the game is currently working as intended, and requesting that I submit a bug report on this issue so that it might be fixed. Again no tech fragments or credits returned. I submitted a third ticket #38733426 on this issue which has again been closed informing me that once again the game is working as intended and the only resolution is the report this as a bug. Once again no items or tech fragments returned. https://www.swtor.com/community/showpost.php?p=9997492&postcount=28 This is the dev post which explains how the vendor is to function. I've quoted most relevant part pasted for clarity. So I thought since the game is working as intended perhaps I should just try it once more. Today at about 12.58am est I bought the box once more on my level 75 marauder. Imagine my great surprise, I was once again granted no item. So above is my bug report. I would also like to know how customer service can both tell me I have encountered a bug in one response, then that the game is working as intended and I need to submit a bug report in the next response. To be clear, the CS person seemed to be quite a friendly person to deal with, I am not upset with them. But I really don't understand how you can say something is working as intended but you have to submit a bug report about it so that your issue can be fixed. Finally, can I please have my credits and tech fragments back, please.
  9. yeah, similar situation here. Checked guild perks, no more than 3 options for any empty slot where previously there had been around 8. On Satale Shan. Bug was reported earlier in the bug report forum. https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=1000593
  10. generally the only time you aren't able to run an operation as a 60 with a lower 50-59 player is if you are trying to do so via group finder for operations progression, id suggest starting at the beginning just for the experience and fun even though a lot of the mechanics are largely irrelevant until you begin to up the difficulty level to HM/Nim
  11. I was on valcyn and radiant. I remember yoshii. GSF and Nexus too. I used to be Odea then Odea's ghost. if ya want to find me i'm usually on theiia. other poeple you may remember from those days, drocraxo, and katharos i've talked to on shadowlands too.
  12. i think this is actually a very good idea. i'd like to see what fixed accross the board expertise would do for pvp.
  13. they told us patch when 1.2 was being deployed less than three days ago, they told us that rated warzones would not be part of it no more than one day after that. not much wrong there imo.
  14. thanks for the update, and it is good to hear.
