when it is tied, the win is given to the team that has control over the ball when time runs out

well, as far as I have experienced with my assassin, we are very gear dependant.. And you also have to take into account that most other players you fight have 10% dmg reduction/dmg increase from expertise where you dont.. And Assassin is not a bad class at all, I just think it requires abit more skill to play than so many other classes like Mercenary arsenal as an example.. And you need to understand that you wont be bursting people down in 3 seconds like operatives can atm ( though they are getting nerfed ) but your sustained dmg is insane. What spec are you currently? If you are deception I highly recommend going darkness, or darkness/madness spec, you will gain a ton of survival, and the dmg is still very good.. I found it more fun with a darkness/madness hybrid spec with 0 gear than being deception.. I will give a link to the build I use atm in pvp, now I have full champ though, so I dont have the issues you have http://db.darthhater.com/skill_calc/sith_inquisitor/assassin/#::de2f2efef4e3def6e2f2e3fe3fefe2f19 with this spec, you get more survival from dark ward, and healing through darkcharge, you need a shield generator though, you get 30% increased force regen, energized shocks which makes your next shock crit, and if you use it with recklessness it does 50% more dmg, and if Chain Shock procs and give you an extra shock dealing 50% dmg its alot of dmg done right there.. You also get deathfield which is a great ability, it does good dmg and heals you for a bit aswell, it takes some time to get used to using it though, atleast it did for me.. You also get higher crit dmg on trash so trash hits for a lot, and your melee crits has a chance to make the next crushing darkness instant and free.. other than that you get shorter cooldown on your force speed, and it breaks movement impairing effects, its just too awesome to pass up really.. And 2 seconds longer duration on Force shroud is very awesome aswell. People will have a hard time keeping you off them because of force speed and force shroud, and if they finally get away, you have instant whirl wind, and electrocute You can even go full darkness if you want, you will be suprised at the amount of dmg you can do as tank spec or hybrid spec edit: OOOPS, made a huge mistake in the talent spec, instead of 2 points in premonition, take one point out and put it into disjunction

That offhand is not only for an offhand lightsaber, you can also buy a shield generator, or whatever.. Same as with my assassin when i got my offhand weapon, it looked like a gun, but I could buy a shield generator..

Isnt this spec 27/14/0 broken now? In game it says: "Thras, volatic slash and assassinate have a 50/100% chance to grant induction while surging charge is active"? Doesn't that take the good part of the talent out? I mean after this change the spec with madness seems alot better

Aranha? what kind of gear do you use with this spec? full stalker with shield gen? or a mix between survivor and stalker?

seems like a really nice build, wil deffenately try it out tonight in some WZ's, I was starting to grow sick of deception really as I didnt think it packed that much dmg, and I was waaay too fragile.. But I am really interested in what gear you use with this spec? Are you just using full stalker gear with shield generator? Or do you mix gear with some parts stalker and some parts survivor?

I didn't think of the bleed dmg from retracable blade, which was ofc stupid of me, so ofc it does more dmg than heat blast.. But I really cant see how 10% shield chance cant be worth it, ALOT easier for healers to keep you up, and they use less force/energy/heat to keep you up, therefore more healing for everyone else, so dont tell me 10% shield chance is not worth it, maybe its not needed, but not taking it would be stupid imo when it comes to tanking..

I really dont think this build will work, why on earth do you want to say no to 10% extra shield chance.. That is ALOT of survivability you lose there, and I dont think it will ever be worth losing for the stuff you have gained in Adv proto Lower CD on Grapple yes, but you lose your charge, which also has alot of uses.. You take retractable blade, why? you already have an ability that deals dmg AND vents heat at the top of your tree in shield tech? You might be able to interupt more, but remember its not only you, you are an entire group of 4, so again I cant see the point in losing 10% shield chance and a tank ability at the top of the tree, to get more interupts since your group can handle all spells that needs to be interupted perfeclty, you dont need to be able to interupt more than you can already.. And no, I dont think retractable blade will give you more agro, and neither will the reduced CD on flame thrower, remember you lose heat blast, which does more dmg than retracable blades, and it vents heat at the same time, so you have more heat to do more agro managing abilities.

I dont know about powertech's but with my assassin, the tank gear is called Champion Survivor's xxxxxxx I bet its the same with powertech gear, try to read the name of the item, I think its the same with powertech gear..

Hey guys.. I am currently lvl 18 with my powertech, and I was wondering which spec is the best to lvl with, I know all of them is viable, but I am looking for the fastest spec to lvl with and im pretty unsure if its Adv proto or pyrotech.. Thx in advance!

UPDATE: I just did a quest where I should get 100 darkside points, and it still says I have the same amount of darkside points as in the picture :S
