  1. Hey Darkknight, There is always space for new or returning players in the guild. We have a few guildies with a great depth of knowledge on the game who share a lot of info in discord and most of our guildies are pretty helpful at answering questions or lending a hand if you get stuck. You're welcome to try the guild out and see how you like it ^^
  2. I am getting the same issue - comes up with 'This application has encountered an unspecified error. Please try this patch again.' Yet my husband was able to patch and log in fine.
  3. If you're still looking for an APAC guild then come and try Corvus/Korvus out - We're a casual/social guild that has been around on SWTOR for 4 years now (and no doubt will continue to be for sometime) For an idea on what our guild does we: Hold guild-created events (such as scavenger hunts, bounty hunts etc) throughout the year. Have a monthly raffle system (two prize pools: Winning the Special Draw gives you the prize choice between a gearing run through HM EV and KP, a level 60 token or a pet; The Normal Draw gives you the chance to win 1 of 6 prizes) Run Casual Operations for players to learn and gear up; its a sign up and grab you're spot deal, don't need to attend every week if you don't want to (see times in first post of this thread) Take part in PvP (any bracket) - you will find our pvp players are more than helpful to those starting out in PvP. Have a Progression Team (spots filled, subs welcome) Have Teamspeak which we use to hangout while playing (sometimes can get a bit R-rated, be warned) Our guild also welcomes players outside of the APAC area - just because we're APAC based doesn't mean we we don't ^^ So, if you want to join track us down in-game (/who Korvus (Imp side) or Corvus (Rep Side)) and ask for an invite. If no one is online you might need to pop across to the other faction and check or message us on our Facebook or Enjin website (see first post for details) Take care and happy guild hunting ^^
  4. Bumping it up - If you're after an APAC guild feel free to check us out ^^
  5. Great to see you got invited, welcome ^^ Casual Operations Times Imperial - Wednesday 11pm NZ / 9pm AEDT / 6pm AWST / 2am PST Republic - Thursday 8:30pm NZ / 6:30pm AEDT / 3:30pm AWST / Wednesday 11:30pm PST There is Kat and Zali's Spud Op's (anyone is welcome) which is on a Saturday Afternoon around 3pm NZ / 1pm AEDT / 10am AWST Then there are other random operations that pop up throughout the week =)
  6. Korvus might suit you - we're APAC, casual/social guild that does a bit of everything (Pvp, pve sm/hm, gsf etc) have the usual fluff (10% rep/xp boost, guild ship and yavin stronghold, bank etc) Our recruitment thread is here Have a look, see if you guild might suit you - if you think it might post us a message in our recruitment thread or pop over to our website, registered and flick us a message there ^^ Best of luck with your guild hunt =)
  7. Yes we sure are recruiting on Rep side =) You should be able to do a /who Corvus and whisper someone for an invite - if there is no one online pop over to Imperial side and /who Korvus and ask if someone can pop over to Republic side and invite your character. Another option is to pop onto the guild facebook or website and send us a message when you're online and one of us can send you out an invite =) Hope to see you in game soon =)
  8. Hey there, You're welcome to check out Korvus (Our Imp guild, Corvus is our Rep guild) - we're been around for nearly 4 years, a casual/social guild that does a bit of everything (PvP/PvE/GSF/sometimes conquests) and we have some pretty nice guild events every few months to get everyone together (Best to check out the guild recruitment thread for all the details) Only thing is our guild is mainly APAC - we do have some players from around the globe but most of our ops times are set to NZ/Aussie time. Anyway best of luck with the guild hunt, If you want to try Korvus out or ask anything just PM me here or through the guild website or in-game on Kai'sarin (my Imp main) Take care ^^
  9. It is a must if you're raiding/pvping, just makes communication a lot easier and quicker, though you don't need to be on it all the time unless you want to join in on the usual banter that happens while we are doing own own thing =) . Though you don't need to talk, listening is absolutely fine =) Welcome Ineluki, I've approved your application on the website =) Will find you in-game and get an invite out to you. See you in-game ^^
  10. Time for another bump. If you are after a social/casual guild (Republic or Imperial, we have a guild on both sides) then get in touch with us in this thread, in-game or via our website ^^
  11. Hey there =) Application should be approved now - Just /who Korvus (Imp) or /who Corvus (Rep) in-game and it will bring up a list of who is online and then just whisper someone and they should be able to invite or get ahold of someone that can =) - most of us log-in around 6pm NZ or after though there might be the odd player on during the day =) Hope to see you in guild soon =)
  12. I love the idea of the Eternal Championship and understand that it is aimed towards solo players to gear-up however it can also be an excellent opportunity to keep other players in the game if given the effort. Take note people, this is my opinion/dream/fantasy. I don't see the static gear as useful - most people just mod up legacy gear and move it too whichever toon they are playing on for the day and I know if I wanted static gear, I'd craft it myself. With me, a lot of my blue glowing crystal comms just get stacked up on my characters and used on buying that crafting mat, my green crystals are used to buy gifts - its really only the purple ones I use to buy 220 gear to throw in legacy gear to give to alts so they have something decent to fight in. Titles, achievements, a pet and mount are nice fluff which I would go for on one or two toon's but once gained then they are just useless and I would stop. For me, one thing that would keep me doing the weeklies is better rewards. One idea would be a legacy 'Eternal Champion' armour set that is a unique look to the class (a sorc's gear would look different to that of a sage, a warriors, knights etc) and can only be gotten through the Weekly Boss 10, one piece at a time. Or they could be bought off an awards vendor using the Arena Tokens at a higher cost. If you were to have a vendor you could then add decorations, crafting materials (eg dark matter), emotes of awesome so we can do a cool victory dance over those we have defeated, unlocks for hairstyles/tattoos etc that a Champion would rock which would all cost Arena Tokens. Another idea which could make it repeatable for players is if you beat the 10th boss you are rewarded a buff (you are the Eternal Champion now after all, you should be able to kick some A**) which increases stats or something for a few hours - then players could do this solo content first, get the buff then go do their ops, their pvp or whatever they fancy with some extra awesomeness (we do like big numbers after all?). If the buff came as a usable stim then it could also be sold on the Arena vendor (maybe even BoE, though only those who have killed the 10th Boss can use it) - maybe even the recipe though due to its awesomeness takes special materials to make. I know these ideas seem far fetched and would take a bit of work but they are they type of rewards that appeal to me as a player. Useful, beneficial and desirable rewards that are worthy of an Eternal Champion and that are worth the time invested. I see the Eternal Championship is a good idea, as a tool players can learn about mechanics they will encounter in flashpoints/ops. My main question is why only limit the rewards to solo players when you have so many players hungering for content and the hamster wheel of grinding Arena Tokens for nice rewards can keep them content between chapters/pvp/pve/gsf/other stuff updates? It's why I find myself wanting to do the Heroic 2 weeklys over and over again on all my characters, the reward for my time is decent and needed - credits and those boxes when handed in give you rep, credits, a piece of legacy gear and a companion gift. Anyway sorry for the story ^_^
