  1. where is the head piece from. So far the ugly helmets is what bothers me the most about sages
  2. This is weird. I have a sage wearing the elegant set, and I dont have this problem. I had heard of it and expected to have issues, but she has never had to resuit. I just hover the mouse over her portrait and see her hp remain unchanged whenever I zone. Maybe only some sets are bugged? Or maybe the character sheet for stats is not showing the correct numbers, however the portraits health and force stats show no change.
  3. Imperial operative class quest goes there. You can run out and die in the exhaustion zone, which I did, and be ressed right across from the same area. I doubt there is anything else out there.
  4. Ok first off, there is no reason to call the wife of this guy (with the 37yr marriage) dysfunctional. Thats rude and possibly quite offensive to him and the loyalty he must have to her and to defending her. I would like to point out to all you young whippersnappers that if he has been married for 37 yrs and got married, say around the age of 25. In a time when mmo's and especially mmo's with AI's that work like Biowares, just werent invented yet, it is very possible that the wife is from a generation of women who do NOT know anything about computer games. Who dont understand the culture of them, the lore in them, the loyalty missions and whathave you. So the fact that she might have been hurt by what she saw on his screen once, doesnt make her dysfunctional. - And since this guy didnt seem to indicate it happened with swtor, - one might extrapolate to him actually talking about doing a bit of cyber flirting once upon a time, which any wife! should be very wary off and definately deserves a tell off. As to me and my husband, he chooses the flirt options in many conversations, I pretend to huff about it, which makes him laugh, which makes me laugh because he laughs and we have a lot of fun I made sweet bug love to vector, which made him grind my gears about ants in my pants for hours afterwards, but it has all been a source of a lot of laughs in our relationship.
  5. You get 7-10k pr daily quest. You have 15 or so of those pr day. If you stick with that a few days you shouldnt have to worry about your repair costs anymore.
  6. Agro that champion with something from ranged, and run to the exit, while your partner clicks the button behind him > credit for completion while you avoid having to kill that OP boss. The reward are orange companion weapons with lvl 50 mods. - One for each companion. I did it that way 5 times so I could get my dudes some weapons. The boss is only OP if you are duoing the quest though. Otherwise you have the interupts you need, and people who are mobile, unlike the companions and wont stand in fire LOL. I play a medic op, and my husband a tech tank. We duo'd every single heroic otw to lvl 50, including firestar and other "harder" heroic 4's. We also duo'd all flashpoints untill we hit the guns in collicoid, but we find we could duo FPs after collicoid too. If we hadnt been duoing as we levelled I doubt I would have done any heroics, except those heroic 2+ I could have solo'd with a companion.

    Week 2 of 1.1

People keep telling the reps to reroll empire in some silly attempt to be funny. I've just dropped my Operative medic, to reroll a sage. Im gonna be all by myself at 4 or 5 in the morning on weekdays on my non pvp server, looting armaments, and Ill drop by to give you imps a few mercy kills while youre hissing and spitting at eachother battling with the other 50 imps over the armaments you're having to share because there are no reps to kill. Its a wonderful system.
  8. what? I am so not even bothering with Ilum (this was an area of the game I was really looking forward to, Big open zone with pvp I thought). I have a medic Operative and I am levelling a jedi sage - just because I enjoy healing. And you're telling me the pvp I was looking forward to - because I love to heal in pvp, is not going to let me play as a healer. I have to focus on getting dmg in on targets to get credit when they die? EVEN as I keep my team up and running? - ***!? I like healing so much in pvp I used to go into BGs in vanilla wow, not premades, and just heal and have fun, and I played so much I got rank 13 prior to the changes. But hey, It was just a small hope I was holding on to. That illum somehow would attract a lot of lvl 50s to pvp in big groups and that I could go back to being a full on pvp healer. If I do what I enjoy the most, I will never earn enough valor to progress in the system. That really sucks
  9. ^ however it isnt uncommon to take down servers the minute you realise you have a serious issue at hand. Then you have the time to make your hotfixes and formulate your posts about it, without having the issue running rampart in the background all the while.
  10. But with diminishing returns you wont see 2k a minute though? Unless you are also counting on 10 new players entering the fray each minute. am I wrong?
  11. Shoulda have been done a long time ago. No mmo should ever let their players investment of time and effort into their game become a questionable investment. Now BW is damned if they do and damned if they dont. If they do; they have only one way to go about it: They must admit the mistakes made with the patch. They must explain carefully how a rollback is to honor the time investment of those who worked the valor ladder how it was intended, and that a roll back is not something done unless the integrity of a fundamental game mechanic has come into question. They must show that they understand the frustration felt by those who did not participate and who will loose rightfully gained valor and commendations. But eventhough this is unfortunate, it is the lesser of two evils, Ill explain why below. This hopefully garners them some sympathy and respect for their actions. If they dont; Immediately some people will hold on to their instant gratification from farming today and tonight, but in the long run, even these players will leave this experience with the knowledge that NOTHING they do in this game, NOTHING they spend their time and efforts on, is integral and good. The rug can be removed from under their feet immediately and with no history for protecting the players efforts and sense of achievement. THE LATTER IS BAD!! its worse than upsetting people who did not farm the heck out of todays issues. - And if a rollback is done right, those players hit by this unfortunate bystander situation will understand WHY IT MUST BE DONE, and they will trust bioware intends to make any investments they make in their own toons solid and safe in the future. --- When issues like these go unpunished it also motivates a community full of apathy - it means we dont police anything that occurs in the playworld. We dont care if someones abusing or exploiting, because BW has shown us nothing really comes of paying attention to it. THIS IS NOT GOOD... it doesnt work for an MMO - and swtor is one isnt it???
  12. unsubbed and playing skyrim for now. Ill play single player rpgs and skyrim till guildwars. I wont be resubscribing, which is a first for me in over a decade of playing mmo's Swtor will be the first game I didnt even sub 1 month past the free 30. I played every other title - including the original swg. However there is something shady about swtor. I dont trust that my time investment wont be a waste - because of issues like today and their choice of not doing a rollback. I believe various methods of achieving things in game has been completely inflated. I already had that affair with mrs. NGE and I aint never gonna be caught with such a ****** again. As for BW - you're joining Funcom on my list of mmo companies I will never pay a dime to. The difference is AoC lost me with an unfinished end game, you lost me with a poorly executed game and lack of integrity when it came to protecting the basic mechanics of your game. You just didnt have the balls to hold them up to high solid standards. Rollback would have annoyed a lot of people. But those people have brains. And had you made a clear statement about what had happened with valor gains, and argued about protecting the time investment of those who worked the valor ranks the way it was intended, you'd have gained sympathey, and respect, and most importantly, we would have trusted you to protect the only currency that matters to an mmo player > our time investment. In my eyes you are complete fools with no idea of how to run an mmo. Your game is already a joke in my eyes.
  13. Its quite obvious that poor Courtney is not really in the loop with regards to the pvp issues and the patching. - So she is comming out of another department, the one for - well titles and uhm fluff, and puts in her sweet little post. And its disjointed and dissasociated with everything else happening, but she doesnt know that. It does however lend some insight into just how compartmentalised BW is when it comes to being in touch with their community
  14. I dont pvp and even I understand that math and how its applied to valor gain. Why are people still insisting that isnt happening? or rather hasnt happened all day and night? there doesnt seem to be diminishing returns - although there will be with tomorrows patch. And the imperials got extra valor pr kill for each node they owned on the map, making the 200 valor kills a normalcy and not a rarity. So whats wrong with the math - especially asking the people here throwing words like liar around. Seems incredibly random to do so when its very easy to see how these valor gains can happen. Random and really rude tbh.
  15. QFT Also, there is somehow a strange sense of rage developing among people who spent time and money on something that turned into a disaster of mmo-epic proportions! But dont worry, we will be gone tomorow. You're almost done with your prevention threads, just hang on a little longer, and we will be out of your hair.
