  1. Darth Junkie Gaming presents: The SWTOR Champions Series. The Series will be composed of 3 regional 2v2 Arena-style Tournaments, hosted on the Rishi stronghold. The NA Tournaments will be hosted on the Star Forge server, and the EU Tournaments will be hosted on the Darth Malgus server. Depending on their team’s placement in each tournament, each player will be rewarded with Series Points. Series Points will be accumulated in order to qualify for a final SWTOR World Championship. You can sign up with different players for the different tournaments. After the 3 regional tournaments, the combined score of the team that you sign up with for the World Championship will be used to determine qualification. The 4 teams with the highest total points from NA and the 4 teams with the highest total points from EU will take part in the World Championship. To make this easier to understand, we give an example. Suppose Player1, Player2, and Player3 wish to play in the NA tournaments. Suppose Player1 and Player2 win the 1st tournament and get 4 points each. Then, Player1 and Player3 play together for the 2nd tournament and get second to get 3 points each. In the 3rd tournament, Player2 and Player3 win and get 4 more points each. Then, Player1 has 7 total points, Player2 has 8 total points, and Player3 has 7 total points. If Player1 and Player2 sign up for the World Championship together, their team will have 15 total points, and this will be used to decide whether they qualify or not. The first NA tournament will take place on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 on the Star Forge server. The first EU tournament will take place on Sunday, August 29th, 2021 on the Darth Malgus server. The tournament will run a single elimination bracket. Each match will be a best of 3, where each round will be a 2v2 in the Arena on the Rishi Stronghold. The minimum number of teams required to run the tournament will be 8, the maximum number of teams accepted will be 16. Sign ups will be first-come first-served, and teams that register after that 16 team limit has been reached can be placed on a waitlist in case a team drops out of the tournament. Depending on the number of teams, the bracket will be changed to include byes which will be randomized for the first tournament. Series Points will be used to determine seeding for the subsequent tournaments. The team that you sign up with must abide by the following rules: No Tank specs. No Healing specs. No Operatives/Scoundrels of any spec. You may not have 2 of the same class. For example, a team with 2 Sorcerers is not allowed. You may not have a team with 2 off healing classes. Since operatives and class stacking are not allowed, this only applies to teams of a Sorcerer/Sage with a Mercenary/Commando. If your composition breaks any of these rules, you will not be allowed to compete. During the matches, you must abide by the following rules. No off-guarding. That is, Assassins/Shadows, Powertechs/Vanguards, Juggernauts/Guardians in DPS specs may not use guard on their teammate. No sap-healing. For example, an Assassin may not use Force Cloak to get out of combat, Mind Trap their opponent, and use Seethe. You can, however, heal out of combat, just without sapping. No consumables may be used except for Warzone Medpacs and Warzone Adrenals. Some examples of consumables that you may not use are: Grenades of any kind, for example [Advanced V-9 Seismic Grenade]. Non-Warzone adrenals, for example [Advanced Kyrprax Critical Adrenal]. No resurrecting your dead teammate. This applies to combat rezzes and stealth rezzing. You may not use the Life Warden tactical. You may not use guild perks of any kind, for example [Endurance Supplement] or [Major Hasten]. You may not change any of your gear, including your tactical, during a match. If at any point during a match you break one of these rules you will be disqualified from the tournament. Sign up on the following form: https://forms.gle/KhGmTAbKkHy5etgy8, discord IDs are required and will be kept confidential among tournament organizers and contestants. All matches will be live streamed on https://www.twitch.tv/darthjunkie (I openly welcome people to restream it if they wish) Prizes are currently being figured out, so stay tuned!

  3. I think youre mistaking losing every game because i was playing pt with, Losing because my team was bad, Theres a huge difference there, Solo ranked is RNG with teams, And getting a bad Team that doesnt focus, follow strats, Doesnt mean a class is bad, You can be a sorc dps and lose because your team is bad, Does that make sorc dps bad too? Your point is null im afraid.
  4. I mean, Theyre nothing like a jugg dps from 5.0, Why? Because a Jugg dps, Literally couldnt punish you so hard for tunneling them, Youre right in the sense of Everyone stills goes pt first, But that might change especially if this busted mechanic doesnt get fixed, Yes i said it BUSTED, And i play pyro, Youre punished in the sense of, You can get globalled in 1 gcd from the PT, That shouldnt be a thing.
  5. I mean, You can all say its situational, You can say its only good if everything procs, But hey it might be a little stronger than you think. https://clips.twitch.tv/ThirstyGiftedLasagnaChocolateRain , Now while its totally avoidable and yes you can outplay it, To the average person playing, Its not that simple, You can click it off explosive fuel at any time, So once you hit 7 stacks youre telling every player to literally run away from someone, While in theory some will do this, Some will prempt with a dcd, Youre basically screwed if you have to run away from what could be 5-6 seconds? And plus Pyro PTs aint as squishy and easy to kill as yall think.
  6. So, Ive debated for a while getting back into streaming, A few of you may know of me from my past on Twitch, As SwtorJunkie/DarthJunkie , Now while i wont be streaming on Twitch, Due to reasons which are far too well known for my liking, Ive decided over the past week, I have missed it, Missed creating content (If you can call it content), So ive decided to Stream again Daily on Mixer.com ... This is a site very Similar to Twitch, In the sense you can make a username, Spam emotes, Etc etc. So what can you expect from said streams? You can expect exactly what the title says, Daily N/A Solo Ranked Games, Now i wont lie, Its not a stream for Children, As much as i will try to make content a little more PG these days, Im an Adult (Well debatable to some) So there will be some Cursing, I say some but probably a LOT, But i am aiming to make the streams more about getting more people into solo ranked, And trying to teach to the best of my abilities about certain aspects of gameplay, Be that DCD Management, Class Utilities, Gearing or just general Class gameplay, Im by no means an expert in solo ranked nor do i consider myself a *Good* Player, I just simply enjoy Arena based PVP. I started Ranked PVP In season 7, From which i gained Bronze on most of my Characters (I know what an achievement eh?) But from there ive learnt from people i respect and consider vastly better than myself, And went from that Bronze To Gold in Season 9 And Season 10, This season (11) Ive even managed to get a gold as DPS, Which is something ive never even thought possible before. Again im not saying this makes me a *Good* Player, But it does state im willing to take on board what others have tried to teach me! Although i still wont let them tell me to Keybind, Yes im a clicker, A bad one, But its the way us Old folk play the game! So if youre on the fence about joining ranked, And would like some tips or If youre seasoned pro and just want to laugh at the clicker running in circles, Come along try the new streaming platform, And see what you think! Where can you catch these streams? And when? Well! You can catch them at https://mixer.com/darthjunkie Daily from around 9pm EST (May start later/Earlier depending on Day/Pop rate)
