  1. So - dont know if anyone else has catch this - but I've been replaying the Main Class Story Quests and I hit on something --- Gaden-Ko, the Voss the Jedi Consular helps to become a Mystic, foretells Arcann, Thexan and the Eternal Throne. After you finish Dark Cradle Dark Heart and Gaden-Ko has his first vision, there is a conversation option to ask him what he saw... he replies: "I saw two sons, one alight and the other dead - and a mountain that touches the stars" --- Sound like anything we've seen recently? I went back and checked the youtube vids - this dialog hasnt changed since in 4 years... --- Well done Bioware, well done
  2. Bioware, As a simple request, would you please add equivelent item level Modifications to the PvP and HM/Operation Vendor lists. No offense, but I cant stand the graphic design for any of the Sith Warrior end game gear... <Not a big fan of Darth Megatron> And having the ability to have gear that LOOKS the way I want but is still equivelent to the End Game stuff would be greatly appreciated. I'm not asking for any deals or breaks... I'm willing to do all the same leg work as people who ARE interested in the Gear, I just want to continue to enjoy the customization you've given me during my leveling experience in End Game... I'm aware that to some extent, I can purchase the gear and rip the mods out of it... but that only works for so long (as the upper end gear has fewer mod slots than lvl 1-50 orange gear). Thanks
  3. Bioware, I would be EXTREMELY helpful if the game requested verification before you purchase large items. I activated my Authenticator today, wanted to see what the various customization kits looked like on my Companion, when I inadvertantly right clicked and purchased one when I had not intended to, one that I already had. These Items are Bind on Equip and sold back to the vendor for 1/10th of the purchase price. I realize that it was my own stupidity, but I cant imagine that I'm the only one this has happened to. I would request that a "Are you Sure you want to buy this?" window popped up prior to purchasing anything... say... over 10k from a Vendor? Thanks
  4. Bio, Like many of the players who have voiced their opinions, negative or not, on this issue... I would like to add my two cents. As we did not all gain access to ega at the same time, a decision that frankly I supported given how overly populated certain areas of the game were during open beta weekends, my friends decided to make characters on a server that was lightly populated, the harbinger. Now obviously this server is in fact NOT lightly populated anymore and as I am unwilling to wait 4 hours to use something that I paid you for, I've since moved to a server that I hope will not follow in The Harbingers footsteps. My question is simple and echos many other posters within this thread... Why am I waiting? I've heard the excuse that "all mmos have wait times at launch". But frankly, I refuse to accept that excuse... Because that's exactly what that is. I've checked the numbers, and weeks before ega was opened, swtor had received orders for over 1 million pre orders. You have also stated many times, that you have hired some of the most experienced developers in the mmo industry to work on this game... And no one thought this MIGHT be a problem? So why am I waiting? It seems to me that the answer is simple, no one within your company has cared enough to ensure that this game, which by far is the BEST MMO, I've ever played (and I've played all of the major ones that have come out since UO), from one of the best video game companies out there, does not suffer the same short comings of those that have gone before it. If this issue continues so much as one minute into launch, you have failed to live up to the reputation that your company has worked so hard for years to earn, and more importantly, you have failed us as your customers. Your concern for the enjoyability of your game is commendable, but if people are spending more time waiting to play and becoming increasingly frustrated, they are in fact NOT having fun with your product. I expect the same caliber, if not better, of service from Bioware that I receive from Blizzard. There are those that will suggest that this is unreasonable, but I flatly disagree. These server issues are representative of a game released 5-7 years ago, not a modern product. If a game server is capable of handling thousands of players without issue 6 months into its life, it should be able to do so at launch... The technology exists to ensure that this kind of issue does not occur... So use it. I understand that a great deal of money went into the development of this game, but this issues WILL drive customers away and an MMOs profit potential lay in subscriptions not initial purchases. Concerned that areas will become overcrowded? Use the in game phasing/zoning system to keep player density down. Concerned about lag? Ensure you have robust equipment. The answer is not to increase the number of servers at some point, this issues must be addressed and it must be addressed within the next 48 hours. The issues is population on the servers and the answer is to increase the cap. You don't cure cancer by pumping the patient full of more antibiotics, you use treatments that will address the actual problem. If you don't, within 6 months, you wont have population issues because you won't have enough players to allow this game to truly live up to its potential and become a major competitor to WoW. Please Bio, I have looked forward to this game for years, and have, when I've been able to actually get into the game, not been disappointed. I do not want to see this game collapse, as so many MMOs do, within the first 6-12 months of life. I want this game to be successful so I am enjoying your product for years to come. Address this issue and address it now.
