  1. Above and beyond anything else that's glitchy in the game, THIS is the most aggravating to the point of making those toons affected unplayable. Somehow five of my alts are unaffected, but the other 6 I cannot play until this is fixed.
  2. I've got 11 alts. On 5 of them, my keybinds are persistent. On the other 6, I lose keybinds when the game loads and every time I zone. I have to load my custom file using that last tab in the Preferences every time I move zones. I reported this a bunch of times on PTS, too.
  3. All of the chapters after Hutt Cartel seem a little too geared toward Jedi and Sith. You can make it make sense in your head to do the Knights of... chapters with any class, sure, but it's a bit more of a stretch. If there is going to be any more new content... please focus it on Tech classes. Make the story more about spies and soldiers than the Force.
  4. I know that you can get the macros and seekers by just taking the intro mission without completing the whole quest, but it is annoying that the only way to get GSI Reputation is by eating up 2 mission slots in the log. When you want to do a planetary run of Heroics and Dailies, those slots can run out on you. I would love to see either a global unlock (under Other or under Republic and Imperial classes). Or in Reputation make it an unlock for reaching Friend status with GSI. Or make an item you can buy at the GSI corp headquarters, which is bound to your legacy, that unlocks the ability as if you had completed the final quest. Just like HK-51, you have to complete the quest with one toon at least once to be able to unlock it. Or maybe once for Pub and once for Imp since they are slightly different stories.
  5. I copied my sniper over. In my abilities I see Maim. But then also on the third row of Marksmanship I see Maim as an option. If I don't select it and choose a passive instead, I still get Maim from my abilities. I am assuming this should not be in the Style tree, and the Instant in that third row should be something else. I searched, but don't see any other reports of it. Is this known?
  6. Well yeah but the changes in next update is why I am asking. Armor will still have weight, and the gear will need to be replaced. I am seeing how on PTS that the Armor value goes up in the same way. So this is still good to know for folks who switch between styles with different armor proficiencies.
  7. That answers another point of confusion I had. Armoring did not seem to have an actual Armor value, it just added to stats. So the Rating x Weight = Armor. Ok. As one of the many old time returning players, I do indeed have some old outdated gear I'll have to replace. There's not enough warning of this caveat in-game IMO. The "preview" of another class does not give any detailed info, so I suspect more than a few people will be blindsided by this.
  8. What is the statistical difference (if any) between a certain type of armor that is modable, and Adaptive armor with he same mods? If there is an effective difference, this could cause confusion in 7.0. Say you have a Imp Agent wearing Medium armor, and they switch to Powertech. They can technically still wear their medium modded armor, but should they upgrade the weight since they can? Or does weight even matter to stats?
  9. On one hand, I like the cleaner look to the character sheet. It's more readable with nicer fonts. But it's WAY too big. There is too much empty space that it overwhelms the screen. The sheet is so oversized, in fact, that if I click on any tab, I can never click back on the Gear tab unless I have click-through chat set, which I don't want to do. Even if I move it all the way to the corner. Not everyone has a giant sized monitor. The sidebar should be a separate box, not attached. If I want to see my inventory to gear up, I'll open my inventory. Same with abilities, etc. I do not need to see an avatar of my character when viewing the ability tree. This would solve most of the problem.
  10. Confused on something after copying my Sniper into PTS... I see Maim in the Abilities list for Sniper. ... But then I see Maim as the middle option in the Style tree for marksmanship at level 35. When I select either of the Passives, I can still use Maim + the passive works as expected (countermeasures reset covered escape cooldown). The other rows in the proficiencies tree are working as expected. Only the one I selected works. Is this a known issue? Will Snipers get Maim always, or is it part of the proficiency choices? Will you be replacing that node in the combat tree with something else?
  11. I rarely see weapons in hand during animations, whether in character creation or when browsing styles in the mission where you add a second one.. If the second Style can't be used until you complete chapter 3, then it really should not even be an option to add one until then. It should be a mission that unlocks after that point to avoid confusion. There's an odd mismatch I found with gear and switching styles... I made a copied my Counselor / Shadow, and added second style of Sentinel. All of my light armor stayed, except for a pair of [Omenbringer's Boots] which says Requirement: Jedi Counselor This raises many questions. 1. When using a style that has proficiency in a different kind of armor, do you need all new gear, even if the old gear was modable? (What is the difference between Light Armor with mods and Adaptive armor with mods anyway)? 2. I take it that gear is linked to your STYLE, and not your origin. So I would suggest changing the description on the gear to avoid confusion. 3. Even if I can't use it, it would be nice if I could at least put it in the Outfitter when Sentinel loadout is active. They are really cool looking boots. ... In general, I suspect that General Chat will be overwhelmed with questions if you don't give everyone a clearer IN-GAME explanation of what Loadouts are for and how to use them. I found it very frustrating trying to figure that part out.
  12. When I first read about combat styles, my first thought was that my Imp Agent could now wield 2 blasters instead of a sniper rifle (which never made sense to me). A few other ideas came to mind, ideally for my existing characters. But if I'm reading some threads on the topic right, this won't be an option? Only Force characters can switch to their darkside mirrors, but Tech can't? I don't understand why. After Chapter 3 they can select a second form and then switch, so the mechanics exist.. Why not let us switch up front with the Skill Mentor?
  13. It doesn't? I was looking forward to having my Imp Agent wielding blasters instead of a sniper rifle. And then utilizing the vibroblade when the situation called for it.
  14. I wasn't sure which thread to put this in, if any... My top takeaway was that trying to figure out how ability progression works and what in hades Loadouts even were for was rather frustrating. It took me far longer than I think it should have to understand what was happening when I clicked on different abilities in the tree, or how to set up a loadout. You shouldn't assume that everyone reads the forums. There also needs to be a very clear IN-GAME warning to tech class players about adding a "second" combat style. I predict a lot of angry players of Tech classes who think they are switching to a "Second" style, only to find out that they can't switch back, assuming that will still be the state of tech styles when 7.0 is rolled out.
