  1. Agreed completely but they seem hellbent on chasing the braindead market. Let them reduce the complexity so the poor players do not get confused. I think we ought to get rid of damage and health stats at this point and just scale everything automatically for peak performance throughout all levels. Just a thought.
  2. Take a step back for a moment and really mull over that sentence in your head. I want you to understand something that is fundamentally simple, yet crucial in this topic - If people want less hotkeys, they can use less at their leisure and ignore abilities that are niche. If people want to use everything, they can use everything. Removing abilities completely removes one of these choices, whereas keeping it as is allows both options.
  3. I am still flabberghasted how people have the gall to argue "Less is better" It has never been the case in an MMO. I don't care how loaded they make the few abilities more, I actually enjoy learning the ins and outs of every individual skill and applying it when necessary.
  4. I was about to reply "I don't care about your fiancee having an easier time with less abilities" Then I read a little bit. Problem is, people continue to coddle and want new players that quite frankly just lack braincells. I'm sick of doing things for the common individual, who is typically so confused they ask questions about the simplest thing in a game IMMEDIATELY before even bothering to experiment, figure out, or read what is in the game itself. Ability pruning is something I've always argued against, time after time - and despite the forum-goers seeming to finally start being against it NOW, the common majority that Bioware/EA likes to lick the taint from just plays the game, offers no constructive criticism, likely quits after a short amount of time because its "Too complicated", and repeats the cycle with every game in existence minus something like Angry Birds. God forbid they try to actually get people that enjoy games to play, rather than bored individuals that have zero sense of commitment to learn anything.
  5. Chortled hard. God I hate videogames.
  6. I don't HAVE to have it, it's just something I tend to do in a few MMOs that would allow me to do so. I prefer my character to be as strong as possible when I'm doing a story, though there is a clear problem when I fight Arcann and barely have a challenge in-game while a cutscene shows otherwise I'd like to do Veteran in any case, and I know 248s are more than enough but as above, I like my character being as powerful as he can be. Thank you for the information, sucks that the choices are already made. At the moment I have no time to get any of them through the story as I'm still farming in preparation for 258 gear, not even close to the UC count of roughly 50k
  7. Hi all, I'm wondering for a character that hasn't done KOTFE/KOTET and any story beyond that would be able to do these dailies and weeklies in the new zone? If I were to go there, would I be locked out of doing the story leading up to it? Or am I still able to get up to that point and make my choices (Like for example merrying Lana) I haven't bothered doing the stories until I get BiS gear for my character, and it'll be a long road with 258s. I'd like to do the dailies but I don't want to miss any story/have forced choices/be locked out of it if I go in the area.
  8. I vote no. I'm on that side of "tries as much as he can" along with my team, but still lose to better and more coordinated opponents. Do I need to get an aneurysm struggling to get wins and getting stressed over it not happening, then lose motivation to try as I lose matches in which I was outplayed? No, which is why the weekly isn't so bad now. I can play, do my best, still strive to be competitive, and not get too pissed over losing. inb4 the simple solution is get good, but if everyone's good then nobody loses In any case, there's people that are better, and teams that are better, and players who try but still lose shouldn't be penalized to stroke someone's dick. On top of that, why complain if you fight mat farmers? Get your wins and your ranks. If they're the only team queueing, it's not like you miss out on anything since there's nobody else to fight.
  9. I really hope nobody on the dev team listens to you guys or thinks its a good idea to 1) Remove more skills/not add any new skills 2) Remove the option to mix tank and DPS gear/skank tank setups 3) Remove tanky/heal abilities from DPS or have tanks unable to use DPS stats You're all clamoring for killing choice, akin to when they removed stances and pruned a bunch of flavor abilities that for example you could have just not used on your action bar. Terrible, but if it gets to that point I no longer have to worry about this game's future.
  10. Bring back abilities removed from when 5.0 drop and revert class changes, have players choose their Advanced class, give back stance dancing to warriors/knights, nut kicks to scoundrels, phase walk to ASSASSINS and SHADOWS instead of giving it to Consulars/Sorcerors, give back LIGHTNING/PEBBLES to Sins/Shadows Basically revert all the stupid, worthless "let's remove abilities people don't absolutely need for their rotation!1!" changes. I like having a lot of abilities and stance dancing was the most fun I've had in this dumb game.
  11. I only logged in to say this guy has a good head on his shoulders. Words on a screen, all you have to do is look away or ignore it. Unfortunate for you that so many people are doing it, but in that case maybe you're the small minority that can't handle stupid banter on an online game. What are people who type "cuck" and flavor of the month insults on general really doing to you? Are they somehow stopping you from playing the game itself or are you simply offended over what someone decides to type out? And this is coming from a guy who's sick of reading garbage on general chat as well, AKA politics. Either I tune it out or stop looking at general chat. Calm the **** down.
  12. I think that currently, it is a bit too difficult for the casual playerbase they need to attract. For example, having any options is a big no-no. Simply use one button for it all, and make sure to get rid of anything that has no use in a rotation. Maybe take the Cartel Coins option away from Sins but let Sorcs keep it.
  13. Force Charge - Melee type Saber Throw - Melee type Then you have Push/Choke/Scream as actual force abilities (staple) Raging Burst/Force Crush - 1 talent tree Define "too many"
